Alfonso was very responsive and professional. I needed some yard work done. A neighbor's gardener…read morehad damaged the our hedge while attempting to trim it, destroying a loquat tree and leaving huge gaps in the hedge. Alfonso was very responsive by phone and email. He gave me a quote of half what I'd been quoted by a landscaping company, and in fact came in under that. He and his associate were very professional, timely, and great with cleanup. The loquat stump vanished as if it had never been there. The hedge is a lot shorter not but I am optimistic that it will grow in properly after this reshaping. I would happily use him for more yard and handyman jobs.

I definitely recommend John and will hire him in the future for more projects.

We were very satisfied with Dave's Painting. He has a combination of painting, drywall and light…read morecarpentry expertise that exactly met our needs. We asked Dave to paint every room in a 2 bedroom, 1-1/2 bathroom condo. We chose different colors for each room. In some cases the colors would meet at the intersection between rooms. What stood out was Dave's hand brushing technique. Many painters would use masking tape, but Dave has a steady hand and the paint met perfectly. That shows craftsmanship. We also wanted help to close up a wall opening between rooms and replace the stairway railing. Dave did a nice job floating the drywall patch, and the new railing looks great. Dave's Painting is a one man show, which means you'll need to allow more time in your schedule for larger jobs. As long as you agree on the schedule and need help with some handyman work along with painting, Dave is your man.

I had reached out to this company to assemble and mount a small TV center I had bought online. They gave me an excellent quote so I scheduled them to come on a Saturday morning. They were a bit late for starters. Unfortunately, when they came and opened my brand new box, there was a significant crack in the wood that couldn't be fixed or ignored so they canceled the appt. at no cost to me and told me to give them a txt or call when I returned this item and purchased a new one. I really appreciated this and was excited to hire them again. About a month later, I finally got a new TV center - this time I checked it out for any issues and it was fine. I txted the owner on a Friday, the day I got the new package. He said he'd see about availability for the weekend. I knew this was short notice, so I wouldn't have been bothered if I needed to wait for the following weekend. But he never followed up with me that day. Not a huge deal so I just txted him on Saturday and asked if he had any updates. He completely ignored me. On Sunday, I sent a txt saying I hadn't heard from him.... He finally responded and said he'd see if someone was available. Hours later.... radio silence. I then sent ANOTHER txt that day and he just completely ignored me. Like are you kidding dude???? I could've reached out to another company that weekend if you didn't have availability or didn't want to work with me. Just like you... my time is money. I sat around that weekend waiting for you to tell me if/when your team was coming and clearly that was a waste of my time & energy. Thankful for the great quote, the team's overall professionalism and the assistance I got initially, but leading customers on and then ghosting them is seriously just rude... I'm sure there's a ton of people who have had better experiences. I'm assuming mine is a fluke - bad timing or they're just mad about the first time they sent a team and didn't get to do any work. Good luck to you all.

Kitchen This year we hired Icarian Design Inc…read moreto remodel our kitchen. Overall we were very pleased with the experience of this project. The designer worked diligently to create a kitchen that was functional and matched our vision. The turnaround time was better than expected. The completion date was met and final finishes were completed with minimal disruption. We did encounter some minor hiccups but Larry and his team addressed them promptly until we were satisfied with the outcome. We are happy the issue was resolved before the big holidays. What stood out the most was this company's professional and courteous approach. Larry and his team are trustworthy and really care about their clients. If you're looking for a contractor for a big or small project, who is professional, courteous, and easy to communicate with, this is a solid choice. He handled concerns with care and ensured quality results in our kitchen and living room walls remodel.

You learn the most about the quality of a firm's work and their character when something goes wrong and we had plenty of unexpected issues (none that were Larry's fault): parts that were supposed to arrive were missing, we asked for modification to the plan, it was raining, the work was more complicated than expected so the job took twice as long, etc. Larry and his team tackled issue after issue that came up with a smile on until we were perfectly satisfied. I'd highly recommend working with them on any project, large or small.

The person he hired even advised me that Rigo supplied very cheap paint for the project. Sure enough, only a few months later, my gate started rusting. I reached out to Rigo about six months after the project was completed, and he told me I would need to have it painted again -- meaning he wanted to charge me a second time. This was not a cheap job, and the quality of work was nowhere near acceptable. The paint was poor quality, overspray got on the sidewalk and even on my cars, and overall the project was not completed to proper standards. Please save yourself the headache and look elsewhere
