We were excited to have Martin do a few little projects in the apartment. He's done work for some neighbors and they've been pleased with his work. Our landlord originally scheduled Martin to come during the week after 5pm. He cancelled this last minute after our landlord tried to confirm. He then rescheduled for the weekend and confirmed on Thursday that he would come on Saturday at 9:30am. At 11am on Saturday we decided to call him and text him so see if he was coming and got no response. Btw, Martin your read receipts are on and we see that you've read our text messages and didn't respond LOL read more

Anyone else sick of trying to get flaky handymen, housekeepers, etc. to do quality work for them? Several months ago, Martin installed a new front door on my house. It was quite a job as it was a metal door and required a new door frame as well. He did a seamless job! I don't know crap about installing doors, but it was as if he used a razor blade to cut out the old door frame and put in the new one, it was done with so much precision. This morning, I needed something done in a hurry (dog emergency: I needed a retractable pet gate installed), so I called Martin. He told me he had a 2.5 hour window in which he could help me and that he could be there in 20 minutes. He was very gracious when he showed up and is doing the work as I write this and... Oi la! Great job Martin! People don't really review their handymen on Yelp, probably in part because they don't want the handyman to become so busy they can't get them as easy or raise their prices. Well, I'm doing it anyway! Maybe I'm not selfish. Or maybe I am selfish and I just want this fine gentleman to stay in business so that he can continue to work for me :-) Anyway, thanks, Martin! I'll update my review to 5 stars after you have done a few more wonderful jobs for me. read more

Martin the Handyman rocks! I've had very few good experiences w/ handymen; from showing up late, to making offensive comments, creating new problems, to never showing up at all... its quite the crapshoot- but NOT with Martin! We needed a new screen door and some odds and ends done on our new house and we called Martin totally last minute and he was able to come over within 1 hour. Martin works on a 2 hour minimum, $120 for the first two then $25 each additional hour. He got all the work done in two hours and then was kind enough to hang out for a few minutes after, cleaned up after himself, left the place spotless, and gave us some advice for our future kitchen remodel. We are BIG fans now! Should also note that Martin speaks perfect English, he has all his own gear in a fancy truck and he really goes the extra mile for ya. He's a skilled guy with integrity, hence the name! read more

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! Martin was super friendly and professional. We are located in South Pas/Alhambra area and he arrived ON TIME and worked diligently and quickly! He is honestly the BEST and we will be working with him from now on. read more

I have used this company several times. I work with Farah who is wonderful. Her prices or more than fair. She is detail oriented and extremely punctual. Kept me updated every day. I have a few rental properties and Farah is always my go to person read more

Our contractor bailed on us after getting the big renovations done, which left us with plenty of small jobs to finish on our tiny house, 100 year old house. Texted Martin pictures of an interior door we needed installed. He was out a day later and had the whole thing done in under two hours. He was able to quickly and professionally trim the door for a better fit, and even reinforced the door frame (the previous guy had cut too much of the wall out and Martin was worried the drywall would crack in an earthquake). We'll definitely have him back to fix more stuff! Great guy, great work. read more

Having Martin work with us was an excellent experience. After upgrading to a tankless water heater, we needed plywood removed from the area surrounding our old water heater. It was trickier than we could handle, and Martin knew exactly what to do. He came up with suggestions, and worked with us on options. After he was done, you'd never be able to guess that there used to be a big ol' water heater in that part of the room. It is fantastic work. We were so glad we worked with him, and will definitely do so again. read more

I called Martin because I need some paint prep and step repair on a set of outside steps. Initially Martin was very responsive. He called me back right away, told me his daily rate (which was high, but I thought, hey if the guy is good, it'll be worth it). So he came by the next day. He looked at the steps, and said he didn't think any needed to be replaced (his first mistake). I asked are you sure, because I really thought there was some rot. He said no. Ok, so he says it'll be a day of work to prep (sand/ wood fill etc) the steps (I was going to paint) and remove the old paint off the concrete base. We agree, and he comes the next week. When he gets here (2 hours late, but he did call to tell me he got tied up), he spends about 3 hours sanding the paint off the concrete (gets about 1/3 of the way through). Then he starts on the steps, and immediately realizes that the bottom step is rotted (like I said). He takes 2 hours to go to Home Depot for materials. He comes back and works til 6, and only finishes replacing the step. So for my full day of work, $350 - I get 1/3 of my concrete sanded and one step replaced, no paint prep. When I call him, he says it'll be another day of work to finish the concrete and the steps - WHAT, are you kidding me? Now we are looking at $700 to replace ONE step, do some sanding on paint and concrete? I get that sanding the concrete takes a while, but how about buying some paint stripper to help? Also, when I later finished this job myself, I found another step rotted (also one I specifically showed him which he said was no big deal) I ask him for a break on the price, he says that he'll do it for a total of $550. So I say ok. The next day, I walk down my steps and notice a large crack that grew to almost 10 inches in 2 days from the edge of the new step. I send a picture to Martin and say, hey - all my other steps lasted 10 years, no cracks, what gives. He gives me this nonsense that cracks in the wood are normal. I say I'd like him to remove it and get a new piece (I am sure Home depot would accept a return), he refuses, and stops returning my calls. Seriously, never got back to me. So much for client service. I am not sure why this guy would risk a bad review (which I am writing) and possibly generating a new client (I do a lot of work around the house) because he didn't want to replace his cracked step, which might take 2 hours. His rates are ridiculous, nearly $50 an hour. I ended up buying paint stripper to remove the paint from the concrete and then sanding - works a lot better and faster. read more

Doesn't do free estimates - instead, he could come to my house and provide a detailed estimate but would charge 150 dollars an hour. Wow. I wasn't turned off by his 350 dollar rate, I just wanted to know what I was getting into if he started multiple minor carpentry projects at my house. In my mind, it could have been a 2 day assignment, but he could have been thinking it would take 10 days. When billing per day, you want to know what to expect in total cost. I don't think it was too much to ask to meet with the consumer to go over the work without charging the consumer to do so. read more

How could I have forgotten to rate Martin? He's been my handyman for nearly two years now. Very knowledgable and professional. A huge plus, my dogs love him! read more

Martin is a nice guy in his demeener but he only completed 80% of the agreed upon work. He gave me the speil about integrity right before he said he had to run to home depot to get a blade for the saw. Usually when you hire contractors they come prepared with the necessary tools. To keep him working instead of running to the store I lent him mine (not a rare saw or blade). Later in the afternoon he said he had to run to the store to get a valve, the old valve worked just fine and I don't buy his reasoning that he needed a 90 degree valve. He fixed 3 sinks just fine but the fourth he just hand tightened the nut underneath to make sure it was "installed". He then have me the credit card recipet which was torn off the itemized recipet which was odd to me. Ask for a check for the $350 day rate and the $21 for the valve. As soon as he had the check in hand he headed for the door. He left so quick I couldn't even review the last sink. It was probably because when I checked the last faucet it tipped over under 1 finger of weight. I know it wasn't beyond his skill level becuase the problem was the same as sinks 1 & 2... What really got me is that when I called him he was very quick to say 'oh well we will tackle that next day' brilliant strategy for the guy getting paid but not exactly honest or acceptable on the payees side of the equation. That's when I checked on the cost of the valve, it was a $10 VALVE NOT A $21 VALVE, ya it's $11 but this guy ripes people off and was wasting time! No chance I'd hire him again, typical contractor that gives contractors a bad name. Like I said he did 80% of the work at a very high rate and worked in his own breaks and bonuses. Oh and his invoice was laughable, it consisted of a personal email diarizing how he spent his day... read more

Martin was great! He was really helpful and a pleasure to work with. I subtly gave him a tip and he came back to the door a few minutes later to make sure I hadn't miscounted. Really good guy. read more

I had such a great experience with Integrity Plus. I had a bookshelf that needed to be mounted to the wall as I have an 7-month-old who will be crawling very shortly. When I called him and told him what I needed done, he gave me a quote over the phone and was able to come 2 hours later--talk about speedy service! Martin, the handyman, showed up and was very courteous and professional. He completed the job quickly and efficiently and stuck to the price he had quoted me over the phone, which was literally half to a third of what all the other companies were going to charge me. The job was well completed and I saved a great deal of money. I will definitely be using this company again! read more

We highly recommend Martin! My husband fell through the ceiling (twice) and Martin repaired it to perfection - you'd never know it was damaged (except I do have the before and after pics...). Wanted an upholstered ceiling on our outdoor terrace - Martin did a fabulous job any designer would be proud of! He's a great guy who is on time, neat, thorough, and doesn't leave a trace when the job is done - just terrific work and happy memories! read more

What a sweetheart. I called Martin to ask for a price quote to fix my screen door and he said it would be cheaper for me to go to the hardware store myself because he was out of my area, and even gave me a price of around how much it should cost. Integrity is a great name for this company! read more

Very surprised with all the positive reveiws on yelp but this guy is a crook. He is very unprofessional and does not believe in doing a perfect job. He charges a day rate, while he does not work full days. He even showed up late, and left early. He took 4 days for a job that should have taken a day and a half. He just worked super slow to charge the money. And $1500 dollars later the job is still unfinished. read more

Martin is the best handyman I've ever met. He went well and beyond to help me resolve issues. He knows his stuff inside out. He arrived on time and delivered fantastic results with a very reasonable rate. What's most important is that he genuinely cares about his customers and truly wants to help out. He is a very friendly, helpful and kind man. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs help with home improvements, repair, etc. read more

Working with Martin has been a pleasure. He is responsive, timely, capable and very easy to work with. He's even made suggestions for alternate solutions-that saved me money! He's a find and I know I will call on him again read more

He does a great job every time. We can always count on him.

Our tenant was complaining that stray cats and skunks were getting under the deck and causing a flea problem in her house. After weeks of going back and forth with various Yelp-approved handymen who either never got back to me, or took a week-plus to get back to me, or got back to me once but then flaked when the time came to actually do the work, having Martin do the job was a fantastic experience. He gets back to you immediately and is in constant contact via text/phone -- something you wouldn't think would be so hard to find, but apparently is! He enclosed the entire underside of a very large deck in two days and worked with us on the most economical way to do so. His day rate probably works out sometimes in his favor and sometimes in yours, but for the quality of communication and speed of work (he started the job the day after I called), he can't be beat for when you just need something done. Highly recommend. read more
