Beautiful restaurant with great indoor & patio seating. Everything was super clean. The service was very friendly and attentive. But the food? Absolutely delicious. Everything was hot, fresh, and super flavorful. We were impressed to say the least. We will definitely be back.

Had a lovely lunch of several appetizers most of which were perfect. I'd never had eggplant dolmas before and this one, bathed in yogurt, was delicious. The labneh was creamy and the okra was especially delicious. My only complaint was that the Armenian salad was overly vinegary and the cucumbers were too prevalent. Couldn't taste the tomatoes and the lettuce was shredded far too fine. Mint tea was lovely. Accommodating service and pleasant staff. Especially because we had our dog and we were allowed to sit in their covered section.

A bunch of everything :)

Nomnomnom my favorite spot for mantee. Not heavy and not garlicy, just perfect. I also love the red wine selection. I usually do the mantee, fattoush salad, hummus, and anything else that I crave. Service is also wonderful. The outside patio seating is super cozy and has heaters for cold days.

I was invited to have lunch at this intimate restaurant in Studio City the other day and was amazed by the cuisine. This small but cute establishment specializes in Armenian and Lebanese dishes. Everything was very flavorful and presentation was excellent. The staff were all friendly and attentive. This place is great for a date as well as a gathering of friends, the atmosphere is perfect for both. The only downside is the parking, there are only limited spaces in the back, so your best bet is to find street parking, a minor price to pay for the delicious food served. I truly enjoyed my meal at Mantee Cafe.

Whenever I go here I order two appetizers; the traditional mantee and the queen's delight. They don't look too big at first glance but they fill me up and I even take some home as leftovers! Sometimes the traditional mantee can be a bit harder than I prefer, like it has been cooked too long or on too high of heat, but it is still tasty. The queen's delight is also very good and the meat is tender and the cherry sauce is perfect accompaniment.

My parents love this restaurant. They have been regulars for years Seating is outside and it was a little chilly summer evening. The bread or cracker that they give when you arrive comes with an oil dip, not sure what is in it. I didn't care for either. I ordered a salad and was told what would come in it and there was just a taste that really made it something I didn't care for. Come to find out it was mint. That's a herb that should be disclosed as it's strong. I ordered chicken and hummus - it was good. Again, my parents love their food. I think that maybe Lebanese food may not be my thing. Now, it was busy and people seemed to be regulars. So again, if you like Lebanese food you may love this place Service was great

Mantee is truly a hidden gem! The front of the restaurant when we walked in was pretty empty, but we quickly realized you have to walk through it to get to the beautiful outdoor patio. The setting outside is just lovely. It's right next door to Gray Tavern, which also has an outdoor patio so the scene is very lively. There are lots of heaters, so you won't be cold on the patio. We ordered the Armenian salad, lentil pilaf, falafel, mantee veggie, sue berag, spicy potato, and kafta kebab plate for four people. When we sat down, you are immediately given a basket of pita and crisp thin bread with some sort of a sesame dipping sauce. The appetizers are pretty small plates, but the Armenian salad was absolutely delicious and plenty to share! Honestly, everything we ordered tasted incredible. I would DEFINITELY come back and know that anything you order here is going to be good. However my one issue is that we ended up having a 2.5 hour dinner because our food came out so slowly and the waitstaff wasn't super attentive. We had to continuously flag people down to order, get more water and the check at the end. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a nice night out, just make sure you aren't in a rush. Though quite the leisurely dining experience, I think it's worth it!

Came here to try the mantee, stayed for everything else and more. Mantee is a Lebanese Armenian owned restaurant on Ventura Blvd in studio city. The back patio seating is a cozy and welcoming ambiance. As it was my family's first time there, we wanted to try a bit of everything. We ordered and rated the following (as Armenians): Fattoush: 10/10 Hummus with pine nuts: 7.5/10 Motabal: 10/10 Labne toom: 10/10 Kebbe naye: 10/10 (I'm very picky when it comes to this) Mantee traditional: 8/10 Soujuk flambé: 10/10 (star of the show) Hot feta: 10/10 (runner up of the show) Chicken kabob: 10/10 Kafta kabob: 9/10 ** perfect amount of food for a table of four. Service was friendly, food was delicious. Can't wait to come back in the near future to explore more of the menu, including the spicy potatoes and branzino.

I think they tried to press it cause it had a crispy bottom but even with a slop of garlic sauce in the middle, it didn't hold it together cause it was sooooooo dry. The $5 eggplant meze came in a large to go plate with pickles but also dry (how?!?). The $3 meat pie was cute but nothing special or nothing a proper pastry place can't beat. My order came with the traditional bag of pita (which is nice but all legit places do this); I'm only mentioning this cause I thought this changed with $3 pita side option on the menu. And they gave me the cute little baklava (2) they hand out as a freebie dessert (but also not as good as it used to be). Really really sad that it's nowhere near what it used to be almost a decade ago when I lived in Noho. I come here almost once every ~ 3 months and look forward to my takeouts when I get the chance, but after being disappointed consistently, not likely. Good luck tho! I like what you've done outside.

It is a cozy spot, with just two tables and some barstools seating. The food was absolutely splendid: - Moroccan Cigars: 5/5 GET THESE! They were rich and savory, with a delightful blend of spices and a perfect crunch. - Arayes: 5/5 The ground wagyu was bursting wil flavor and still had great texture. The onions and cilantro softened how savory it was, and the toasted pita was the perfect vessel. - The OG Wagyu Beef Shawarma - Half: 4.5/5 They are generous with the meat, which has so much flavor. It was tender with the fat fully rendered. The pita bread was pillowy soft amd fresh, but still had structure to hold everything together. - Fried Cauliflower: 4/5 The spice blend fits the cauliflower profile and the texture was great. The staff was hustling, non-stop, but still took the time to engage when I was ordering, answering questions and providing suggestions. It made the overall meal better and was appreciated. The location was noticeably clean, from the table tops to the floors. It made it inviting when we walked in. It is a bit of a drive, but I will find a reason to return...soon.

Food portions were plenty and very good. I stopped by today around 2:45 pm and was greeted by Salim the owner himself. Service was just ok, could have been better in many ways. They have remodeled this place and it has been around for over 25 years or so..I liked the place the way it was before. Place was clean. You order at the counter and they bring out your food. Salim was not that friendly, nor was he unfriendly. I ordered 1skewer of Shish Kabob that came in 4 small pieces of square beef, 1 skewer of grilled big prawns-3 pieces, which came with Rice, Hummus, Pita bread(stale) & was cold, and cabbage salad. My total for everything including tax was $29.65. I asked my Shish Kebob to be cooked medium, and it was way too well done for my taste. Shrimp and the rest were delicious!! My server Cely could have been more pleasant and friendly. She just brought my food out, placed it on the table & didn't check on me not even ONCE!! One of the cooks from the kitchen asked me if I needed anything and I said, I am good. Had to get up myself to ask for water and napkins. Ambiance was dull and boring. There was no one in the restaurant. Right when I was about to leave, another employee by the name of Micalla came to work and right away asked me if I needed anything. I asked for a box to take the remaining of the food to go. Right away she packed my food and I left. Fridge full of cold beverages and my favorite TAN! An Armenian/Lebanese Yogurt drink. Another downside was that they didn't have an itemized receipt. The last 4 star was for Micalla. Will definitely return again some other time. Shared parking with 5 other businesses and has 1 gender neutral restroom. Place was Established in 1999 and is a Lebanese restaurant. They also do to go orders, catering, and pick up..

Their arayes are a must -- it's basically like a lahmajun with two pieces pressed together, and it's insanely good. I usually go all in and order the tabbouleh, babaganoush, a pound of lula kebab, and shish kebab. Honestly, if you're with 2+ people (or even just really hungry), ordering by the pound with sides is way better value than getting individual plates. You get more variety and it just feels like the right way to eat here. Every now and then I'll switch it up and get the liver plate -- it comes with tons of greens and onions, and when you wrap everything in their fresh pita, it's incredible. Not an everyday order, but when you're in the mood for it, it hits. If you dine in, the indoor decor is super nice and really gives that authentic Mediterranean vibe. They also play a lot of 90s music, which somehow fits perfectly and adds to the whole experience. I've dined in plenty of times and the service is always solid -- staff is friendly and attentive. Just a heads up, food can take a little longer sometimes, but that's because they're always busy and everything is made fresh, so it's worth the wait. I've also done takeout here more times than I can count -- probably over 100 orders at this point -- which says everything. This is easily one of my go-to spots and I keep coming back for a reason.

From the moment we arrived, the vibe felt off. The host who seated us (who later turned out to also be a server) left us at the table, and no one approached us for about 10 minutes. When a server finally came over, the first thing she said was "Ready? Ready?", no greeting, no welcome, nothing. We were never brought water. I had to ask a busser for it because the server walked past our table multiple times, clearly saw us, and chose to ignore us. The food runner was also rude, he dropped the plates on the table without saying a single word. Throughout the entire meal, no one checked on us. No "How is everything?" No "Do you need anything?" Nothing at all. Meanwhile, we noticed that nearby tables were being greeted, checked on, and treated kindly. When we asked for the check, the server literally threw it on the table without saying a word. The experience was so bad that we decided not to leave a tip; Something we never do, especially since we truly value good service and I personally work in the restaurant industry. I don't know if the treatment had anything to do with how we looked or how we were dressed, but I've never felt so ignored and uncomfortable in a restaurant before. The food may be fine, but the service completely ruins the experience. I would not return or recommend this place.

Meats are well seasoned, juicy, and the portions are generous. Their falafel balls are well seasoned, and their hummus has a texture that I really enjoy -- it's got a tiny bit of grit to it instead of being perfectly smooth.
