Upon completion, there was quite a few areas that still had a fair amount of moss on the roof line so they certainly did not accomplish what I initially wanted. They explained that they treated the moss and then it would eventually dissipate overtime during additional rain storms. Overall I think they did a good job with power washing the house cleaning the windows and power washing the driveway, but the moss remains on the roof and still looks undesirable. We called them back indicated that it would be an additional $1400 to power wash the moss off and rinse the house down again. I should've simply allowed my own employees to do the whole thing and do it thoroughly. Now I have to go back and power wash specific areas of the roof line in order to get the desired results. being a service industry, you really want the people you work with willing to go the extra mile to create a level of customer satisfaction. My only disappointment was that I wasn't notified of tears in a number of my widow screens. An online patch system I found will take care of that. The crew was polite and worked so fast, without sacrificing any quality which is important. Cecil was very friendly and polite and professional. Based on all that alone? I'd have given five stars. But let's talk about the Jeff-Goldblum-sized-Fly in the soup, shall we? The job concluded and there was a sizeable pile of refuse left over, laid out in our drive and alongside the inside of our yard. Not to mention the little pieces of trash surrounding the property, and the fact that they used my recycling bin to store some of it. We had to text and request that they come get the trash. Then there was the matter of a ladder they left behind for a considerable amount of time even though the city came out right away to inspect the work--we had to send a joking text to ask if the ladder came with the new roof. Then when they got the ladder, they made no moves to let us know, and in decided to shove some paperwork in plastic in between the fence slats--important paperwork we needed for records--rather than, I don't know, putting them in the handle of the storm door OR BETTER YET THE MAILBOX so we would be sure to see them. Like what on earth were they thinking leaving paperwork there like that?! Completely unprofessional. What really cheesed me off was getting a certified letter from the roofing supply company, letting us know that if McLain's didn't pay their balance for the supplies, they could put a lien on our roof?! I'm sorry what? If I order a cake from a baker, I don't get a notice for them to pay their balance for their flour or sugar suppliers, lest the take out a lien on my cake! Like what do you mean?! Maybe that's industry standard but as someone who worked in manufacturing, I never even heard of such a thing and frankly don't love that. All in all? A great roof, but the finishing steps left such a sour taste in my mouth, I won't be recommending them to friends and family.

The quote was $600 to flatten the walls for the wallpaper installation (we had orange peel alike texture). When he and his son arrived to work on the walls. They only patched some holes and said that's it. It then came to the argument that that was not how the walls should be prepared for the wallpapers. Johnny offered to skim coat the walls for additional $400. And he was assuring me that the wallpapers can be installed on textured walls, which is not true. I received multiple quotes for the wallpaper installation and EVERY single company said that the walls should be smooth. My advice is when you work with them, record the process/conversation and do a full walkthrough of the steps and the process before they start. What was discussed during the quote doesn't match with the work done. Very disappointed. $600 to patch some holes. The walls are still not ready for wallpaper installation. None of the companies want to install on textured walls because they all say it will bubble up! Now I have to pay extra to the other company to properly prep the walls.
