My very first visit to this yard. We had 3 mattresses to dispose of, and doing that at this location was pretty simple and seamless.,being that we reside in the Stockton area, it was free to dispose of with proof of ID. The lines at this location form pretty early. They open around 730 am daily and close at 4pm. Be sure as well to have your load covered with some type of tarp of some sort as they will not allow loads on without. This is also posted on signs prior to entrance. I needed to dump a few miscellaneous items so I came here on a Saturday afternoon with my suv fully loaded. There were two car lines for you to join upon entering the facility. There were a lot of cars lined up and it took about 35 minutes to make it to the cashier station. Remember to bring a debit/credit card as they do not accept cash for payment. They charge you a flat fee based on your vehicle type. Once you pay you drive into a warehouse and back your vehicle into the designated spot. Then you unload all of your trash into the middle of the warehouse and huge forklifts come and smash everything and take it away. For the convenience and price it's worth the trip. read more

Super awesome transfer station... I can't say enough, they even have a meter on their website to tell you how busy they are, this is amazing as you can see how busy before leaving the house. The line area to enter is well signed and has the price listing also. You can also find the pricing on their website. There is a 2 person intake booth and both sides are usually bumping very nice people ask which city do you come from , you show your license and pay. Up the small hill into the transfer area, your are guided to a spot, where you back in, (step up) and chuck all your refuse over the edge. This will be swept away by the bulldozer. When you're done pull out and drive down the driveway and you're done. There is a separate area for mattresses, think they are recycling over there. Have been there probably a dozen times since moving out here, and the longest time I've ever had to wait was during super busy time according to the website meter, but I wanted to go so, the line was pretty good, but didn't really take that long. Good experience and a good place, definitely recommend them if you live in the cities they serve. read more

There are big signs there making sure no one scavenges your private or personal items. Which is great because then this leaves much more stuff for the employees here to share later. If you do see something you really like in the dump, then drive southbound on airport way about half a mile on a friday or saturday and you will be bound to see it for sale along the left side of the road. Also make sure to shred all private items as the sanitary workers are quick to pickup whatever catches their eye as they stroll by your recently dumped garbage. Gross but I think that is how they entertain themselves and supplement their living. read more

There are some pretty typical Stockton dirt bags that work here one looser approached me for not leaving the parking lot fast enough because he was trying to leave. But the simple stocktonian could have just went around. There are no signs to show you where to go and every one is rude and ugly. Plus they close every day at 4pm instead of 5. No where besides when you turn down Lovelace does it say you need a tarp. I didn't know it was a requirement. Make sure you tarp the load. I assumed since it was below the rails of the bed and trailer it wouldn't be a problem. They will charge double if it is not covered. Harbor freight has a tarp for $3 and saves you the headache. Very slow girls working the scales. Very dusty once you get inside to dump your items. Make sure you bring a dust mask and a tarp. read more

Negative 10 stars!! Absolutely the worst excuse for a dump I've ever experienced. Such a con how they don't tell you until you're at the very front of the line that your entire load needs to be covered and tied down, or you're CHARGED DOUBLE--even if it doesn't need to be held in place! And when we hopped out in the stand still of a line to cover it, a rude woman over a loud speaker yelled that we aren't allowed to cover it in line and we'll be charged double no matter what! I've been to several dump sites in Sacramento and never have I heard of such a rule. How do you know what kind of trash it is to be sorted in the right section?? And then to have to hold up everyone while you untie everything?! That explains the long barely moving lines. Nevertheless, we left and will NOT be giving them any of our business. Such an entire waste of our day. I will definately be spreading the word to the rest of my clients, friends and family. read more

I have done a lot of business with Lovelace over the years there is a supervisor by the name of Manuel who should not even hold the entitlement of a supervisor . They are very very rude and have no common sense there I think the smell of the waste have gotten to there brain. For some strange reason my parents' lifestyle (I assume mostly my dad's lifestyle) resulted in the creation of an enormous amount of garbage. So much so, in fact, that as children my brother and I were conscripted to ride along with dad to the dump to go unload a truck full of crap every few weeks (or months, maybe; time is kind of a fuzzy concept when you're young). I don't know how my brother felt about it, but it was up in my top three least favorite things to do. Even the obligatory stop at Beattie's Market (now closed) in French Camp for ice-cream didn't make the pain go away. God I was a lazy child. Get there early if you go on a Saturday as line backs up. They pretty much take anything and everything except for a few hazardous items. Price-wise they are the most reasonable around. Make sure you cover your load as cops hang around the local streets. read more

I have had very good experiences there, often they help me empty my Ranchero and direct me with my backing in. I really appreciate the help. They are great people. I do worry at times about the guys down below going through the stuff and do not appreciate that, but pulling out the recycle stuff cannot be all that bad. this place's customer service is exactly what it is, A DUMP! we have been using this facility to dump garbage for the past 2 years and every time you drive up to the window the ladies working either have really bad attitudes or don't have what it takes to talk to someone professionally. For example today i added a new driver to my companies forum and these clowns don't know how to download a PDF file an authorize my new drivers to dump there, i was explaining my situation to Celeste the lady behind desk and she had the worst attitude so i asked to speak to a supervisor and she said there is no supervisor along comes this bigger clown named Manuel who made the situation even worse the guy had no common sense at all. i tried to explain to him what was going on but he would not shut up an just kept talking and talking when i asked for his last name he said he didn't have to provide that which is unheard of.
