Employees there were courteous and offered some help with the recycling. This place is pretty fair when it comes to the payout and everything was pretty easy. First off their prices arent that great for their metals.2nd they quote you one price on the phone and give another once you get there. But the worst part is the lady running the scale is straight ripping people off. I spoke with nicole on the phone and she said that if it has a label on the aluminum or stainless it doesnt make it dirty. Dirty is if it has traces of other metals attached still. or very dirty like grease and such. Well the lady at the scale went through my bin of clean aluminum and then dumped it in with my dirty aluminum bin because she seen a few pieces of aluminum with labels. Then dump my electric motots in with my transormers and said they werent electric motors. Just because they were smaller. totally changed all my piles basically robbing me of quite abit. oh and one of their scales was definately not working correctly. she tried to fix it and it still wasnt accurate and she new it, but kept using it. I feel like she didn't have to do that. Once I was completed I spoke with the Site Manager, Andrew, to compliment his team from my experience. He was very informative and personable and taught me a bit more about their process. Very good for the environment and a very fast process as well. He also showed me some of the complete product that they manufacture from the recycling process, like colored wood chips and compost, and at unbelievably low prices. With Spring coming I will return again to get my garden going...no more Home Depot here!

I was looking for a recycling center closer to me and found this little gem. Located right next to…read morea gas station, this place operates right out of a container box with one scale, huge sacks to put in the weighted recycles and one man operating this business. I had 5 big sacks of recycles and have to wait for an open parking spot to back up my car because there's no way I'm going to lug them around from the side of the street where I found parking. Anyway, besides the point, I got into an open spot, grabbed empty bins and starts putting in my cans. The guy also then started weighing and emptying them into those large sacks hanging from the side of the container door. Aside from my big loads, the process was actually very quick and I was out of there in no time. I actually got a good amount of money from all my recycles and I can't complain about that. Also, don't expect to get any help unloading your sacks and getting it emptied into the bins because this is a do it yourself place (even the old lady in front of me managed to do it herself). There's no VIP service up in here y'all. This place is literally nestled right next to the gas station store and if you're not familiar with it, you'll miss it. Come here early to avoid wait as they share parking lot with the gas station and there's about at least 4 spots closer to this business. But if you don't mind parking on the streets and lugging your recyclables then you're good. Definitely my new go to place to bring in my recyclables and you can't beat the friendly guy that works here as well.

The meter was on. I merged onto the freeway, checking very carefully to ensure no cars were near me. I signaled before changing lanes -- I always drive cautiously because I had my two young children in the car. This driver was not close when I began my move, but he deliberately accelerated toward us, nearly causing a collision, and then intentionally stayed dangerously close to our car! For a long time! My children were terrified. I changed lanes to get away, and as we passed, the driver -- a man wearing sunglasses and a hat -- gave us a threatening glare. It was terrifying, kids cried! -- He could have killed us. Absolutely unacceptable and dangerous behavior.

They claimed it was because we had 10 pounds of sheet metal, which they valued at about $600. The only option we had was to go back and pick up the metal and aluminum, which was completely unrealistic. This experience was incredibly frustrating, and I feel ripped off. I strongly advise others to avoid this place. It's not worth the hassle and the dishonesty.
