I had a garage door emergency and found Mansfield Overhead Door as being highly recommended on Nextdoor. I put in a request on their website and then also sent an email to the owner and let them know what was needed and requested next-day service because my car was stuck in the garage. The owner responded to my email and stated he could have a technician out the next afternoon. As promised, the technician (Corbin) showed up on time, pried open my garage door, troubleshooted the problem, and made the fix, all in less than 10 minutes. I was blown away. To top it off, he didn't charge me anything for the service call. This is what I consider good, old-fashioned customer service and I am so grateful! Even though our opener is fixed, it is pretty dated and not the best quality, we have decided to purchase a new, updated opener from Mansfield Overhead Door. We are THAT impressed! read more

Ordering was a breeze, installation was a whole other thing. The install had to be postponed a week, the door didn't arrive on time. Installation had been scheduled just over four weeks in advance, I blocked my calendar for that day. Installation was postponed one week, and of course I'm out on emergency travel for work. I had prepared the garage, there were a few things that had to be moved nothing major. Garage floor had been epoxy coated, reworked the drywall and mudded and painted walls and ceiling, the garage was clean and ready to go. Day of install it's going to be 72° for a high, installer arrived at 9:00 am and called immediately, he wasn't willing to move one thing in the garage. Like I said, everything was prepped and clean. I had a guy that helps me with things around the house on site, he was willing to move anything in the way but the installers said no. Installer called me and said he would have to reschedule, chewed me out for the garage not being empty, he was flat out rude. I told him to just cancel the order and he flipped out, said I couldn't do that. I told him to leave the door, I would install. He refused that. He told the guy I had there that he was going to file a lien on the house and stormed off. About 30 minutes later he came back and took a look at what had to be moved in the garage, decided it's better to have my guy move everything and do the install. So, they start the install and for some reason they cut the trim lumber inside the garage, they blew sawdust all over a HEPA filter I had running and all over my wife's treadmill. They said they didn't want to be in the sun. The temp hadn't hit 60° by the time they left. Seemed like an intentional dick move to me. Would not recommend these guys. read more

Got to talk with Kevin over the phone and explain my problem and he put me in touch with Felix to get something scheduled and make sure he was ready for my door problem. Scheduling was flexible to meet my needs, and Felix was on-time and very helpful. Felix got me fixed up, gave me a few tips on maintenance I can do, and was on his way all for a very reasonable price. Our garage door would was having problems shutting all the way down or opening and after being disappointed by the company we had used before, I goggled and found great reviews on Mansfield Overhead Door. The owner Kevin came to our house and fixed the rollers that had come apart, straightened the door and chain and serviced the entire door. He was very professional, friendly and his price was fair as he explained what had caused the problem. Two days later after he fixed the door it got stuck again and I called him back, he was busy working out of town and after a few days he managed to come back and check on the door and reset it. He was apologetic on why he wasn't able to come back sooner and we understood he had work out of town. Overall, I was happy with the service and would highly recommend Kevin to anyone that needs help with their garage door. read more

Returned my first call within an hour, showed up same-day to fix a backed-into garage door. Charged $175 to respool the wire or some such, no parts needed, I paid in cash. Not sure if that is a fair price for 45 minutes' worth of work, but the guys were all super nice and you can't beat same-day service. read more
