Customer Service is garbage. I've been a loyal customer for over 15 years. They have a nasty attitude when you call. I've tolerated that for the longest time because I liked their food. This is is the straw that broke the camels back: They Refused to honor their own voucher system. Requiring more than the vouchers state. While giving the nasty attitude. Does anyone know what Manny's hours are? They don't seem to know, or they are keeping it a secret from their customers. Their own website says they are open tonight until 9pm. I called to place an order at 7:34pm and they did not even say hello; they said "Manny's Pizza, we're closed." I know it is not easy to manage a take out place, but this is the kind of thing that does not take an advanced business degree to get right. If this was a one off thing, I would not bother to complain. This is the third time in the past month I have tried to place an order more than a half hour before their own website says they were closed only to be told (in a pretty rude way) that they were closed. They just seem to check out whenever they don't want to put in the full hours they advertise. The food's pretty good, but not good enough to be worth the hassle. Unfortunately after many years we will no longer be getting food from Manny's Pizza in Millville on High St. This became a ritual every weekend; we would order takeout from them. Tonight they missed the mark, sending a cheeseburger sub and a gyro that were unappetizing,to put it mildly (The onions on both sandwiches smelled like wet dogs!) and sides that looked like field rations; I called to let them know and try to find out what happened since they're always on point, NOT looking for compensation at all. Whomever I spoke with was rude and patronizing and the end result was he hung up on me! I've worked in food service for 22 years and this is NOT the way to treat loyal patrons. Very sad. Places like Manny's makes me realize I lead a sheltered ass life. I go to fancy restaurants and write snide reviews about food I pay entirely too much for. Meanwhile, there are people making simple, delicious and cheap food for (probably) far too little in a town that has most certainly seen better days. If anything, Manny's is a testament that the good things in life don't have to be complicated. Maybe their food is nothing special and I'm just sentimental because I can't get pizza, cheesesteaks or cannolis like theirs near DC... but I don't really care. The place I usually order party trays from was closed today, and it was 45 minutes before my daughter's birthday party and I was like "oh crap, oh crap, oh crap, what am I gonna do?!?" You have to understand that pizza in my family is a sacred thing. If I had made the wrong choice, I would have been in BIG trouble. I've tried almost all the pizza joints in Millville and knew that of those I'd had previously, none made an acceptible party tray (round pizza yes, party tray NO!) I hate party trays to begin with, but for a children's party, ya gotta compromise. So I'm sitting with the phone in one hand, trembling staring at the phone book... "WHAT TO DO?!?!?" And then I remembered a convo with a co-worker about this place down the street from where the party was gonna be. But could I remember the name? tick tock tick tock tick tock. ok OK.... I'm gonna Yelp it. Oh crap! No one's Yelped it yet. Damnation!!! Hmmm mmm mmm... scanning the phone book... "why the hell does there have to be so many freaking pizza places... damnit, what's the name of that place?!?" "A HA! Manny's!!!" *inner happy dance* I call, and order my party trays and have a lengthy discussion with the girl about the strange location of where we're at and make sure the driver will be able to find us. Promptness was important, I stressed because the party is on a strict time table because the place we rented throws us out promptly at 3pm. No prob she says. She explains that I can pay by phone, but I have to have my credit card and ID with me so the driver can verify my identity. I didn't believe for a second he'd actually check. I asked if I could pay the tip by credit card and once again, she said it would be no problem. Gee... am I still in NJ or have I slipped into the Twilight Zone... these people are awfully friendly. Go figure. So the party ensued at the pool and I got totally wrapped up in taking pictures of the kids that I lost track of time and wasn't waiting for the pizza guy like I should have been. It was so noisy, I also didn't hear his first phone call. But bless his heart, he waited a couple minutes, and called me a second time. He WAITED!!! I could have kissed him. He was totally cool about it too. No attitude. Again I'm wondering, "am I still in Jerz?" I check out the pizzas... they look a little slippy slidey in the box, but nothing major. And the best part, which gains major points in my book- he actually checked my ID. Hallelujah! NO ONE does that anymore. Thank you sir! The best part, the party trays were DELICIOUS!!! I've never liked a party tray pizza before. This was seriously nummers. The crust wasn't all doughy and fluffy like most places. It was more like normal pizza, with a thin, flat crust- just square. The sauce wasn't overly herby, and a little on the sweet side but NOT cloying like Chef Boyardee. It was just right. The cheese was good too, although it wasn't as greasy as I prefer, but that was better, given it was a party and all. My uber picky autistic daughter even ate the pizza and commented that she enjoyed it. SCORE!!! That NEVER happens. Manny's is my new go-to place for party trays! Woo hoo! read more

I recently left a good review only to be very disappointed in a costly dinner I just purchased. Italian sub - I ordered everything but peppers what we got was one slice of three different meats, no seasoning at all no oil no mayo lettuce tomatoes looked two weeks old. I called to make an order for pizza. When the woman answered there's was no customer friendly tone, I could barely hear her and she hung up right after I finished. As I walked in the restaurant, NO ONE aknowledged me. I'm just standing there and everyone is walking around in the kitchen. Not one "hello" "how are you" or even just "please leave". I want to give Manny's a good review as far as the pizza goes. Large pizza's are very good here. The service is not as good as the pizza. I always seem to get the same guy everytime i call, i hope he's not the boss, because he can use some customer service lessons to say the least. You're gonna need some luck if you want it delivered. i'd say they are late pretty much everytime esp on the weekends, i know they are busy but do not tell me 20 mins if takes your driver 45+ to get my order delivered. They have a great selection of food that is tasteful and of great quality along with their pizza that has a good sauce zing, cheese, and solid crunch to it that makes it stand out. Typically, manny's is my go to location for pizza since they get it done quicker and have good prices. read more

Gert has suggested Manny's over the years and I have always nixed the idea as I had unfavorable memories (poorly constructed 'zas, poor delivery services, etc.). Manny's food is really delicious. I ordered Jalepeno poppers. They were great. I also ordered 3 different pizzas which were also great. The two reasons I gave them 2 stars instead of 4 or 5 is because their menu offers Small, Medium, Large Pizzas. However, when I placed my order my choice was small or large. I asked about medium pizzas but they said they didn't have any. Didn't have any? Don't they make fresh pizza for every order? I believe this is false advertising and a ploy to make money. Also, they said 15 minutes and it took 35. Yes, I could have ordered from somewhere else, but I went with a referral. Won't happen again no matter how good the food is. Just be an honest purveyor and supply what you advertise and say to paying customers. read more

I'm definitely not a Millbilly or Millvillian or whatever the backwards people of Millville refer to themselves, my boyfriend however is and when I stay in Jersey with him the choices for food that tastes good are few and far between. The Taste of Italy or maybe it's called The Best of Italy, it's the pizza place that you are pretty much gaurenteed to find several of the local cops eating at, they have average food but is soo soo overpriced especially for the area. Mannys is great however, first time I got a BBQ Chicken Cheesesteak and being a rather petite girl I always have to finish a sandwich in two or three separate meals, however with Mannys all I needed was a few minutes for a breather in between the two halves of the amazing sandwich. We even ended up getting pizza from here on Valentines day and it was really good as well.
