I'm visiting family in New Jersey for Christmas, so it seemed like a good time to place an order with them. We opted for delivery, as my mom is sick and I'm a terrible night driver, but I would not do that again. Their online ordering system was pretty confusing. At first I landed on an online ordering menu that I don't think was the correct one as it gave zero descriptions on anything. I backed out and then clicked into the correct one. Based on the layout, I assumed I was ordering delivery direct through the restaurant rather than an outside partner, which I prefer to do. Nope. It was DoorDash. Had I realized that, I could've used a DoorDash coupon or ordered elsewhere. Instead, I spent $9.99 for a delivery fee, plus $2.99 service charge, tax, plus tip, and the order was essentially double the cost of takeout. It wasn't obvious that it was an outside partner until the tracking link was emailed. Plus the delivery driver made a stop along the way, so my food was lukewarm on arrival. Ugh. It also took an hour to be delivered compared to their website estimate of 25 minutes. Delivery aside, the food was pretty good. I really enjoyed my slice of cheese pizza - the sauce was perfect! The cheesesteak was also delightfully cheesy and cooked perfectly. I probably wouldn't order the tuna club again. I think I overcharged myself, as it didn't have a description so I couldn't figure out what came on it. As such, I added bacon and assumed it'd have cheese as the site referenced "substituting" cheese, so I didn't add that. Turns out - no cheese (so sad) and now bacon on two layers, so I assume they added extra. My mom had a cup of their chicken noodle soup, which she deemed "tasty." High praise from her. Since I overall enjoyed what I ordered, I'd likely go back sometime on a future visit. Though I do feel minorly ripped off by the online ordering experience so I'm more likely to try other local spots first.

We haven't ordered much lately because of the price increases that they put into effect. My wife wanted a "garbage" (everything) pie and since it is my favorite ( and in the past Joe's was really good) I decided to order it anyway. This was a huge mistake. The order was placed and we received an order confirmation at 7:07pm stating that the order would be delivered at or around 8:09pm. At 8:10pm we received a 2nd email to track the order stating it would be delivered by 8:42pm, more than 30 minutes later than originally told. It showed up at 8:46pm. It was (at best) luke warm. Upon opening the pizza box we found the pizza totally overdone, to the point that the crust was so crisp and crunchy it was inedible. The middle of the pie was thin and soggy making the pie almost unable to pick up without everything sliding off as the crust collapsed. Compared to previous "garbage" pies we have gotten from Joes, it was like they put 1/2 as many toppings on it as they used to. My wife and I did not enjoy the pizza and were completely dissatisfied with the service. We will NOT be ordering from Joe's Pizza in the future! There are far too many pizza shops in the area to accept 1 star pizzas and service.

Overall the pie had absolutely ZERO FLAVOR- NONE whatsoever !! The "red sauce" tasted like plain, unseasoned tomatoes, the mozzarella had no flavor as well. The chunks of chopped tomatoes were bland. The ONLY flavor was from the fresh chopped basil added after baking. Adding seasoning after the fact was uneventful. There were no sneeze guards covering the sliced pies, the seasonings on the side were unlabeled and the holes in the shaker were too small for the red pepper flakes and what I assume was oregano. FIRST TIME = LAST TIME - Do NOT recommend the pizza.
