I rarely make drive this way, but I have always seen reviews for this pizzeria... I have really been missing out on a great business that is really just a 5 minute drive further on I would usually go. The pizza here is beyond good. The crazy thing about this is that you can't find pizza this well made in densely populated areas where pizza joints are on every other corner. Finding this in a small town with not many businesses in it is mind blowing. Anyway, I've also bought burgers, entrees, and soups here.. Everything on their menu makes deciding what to eat a pretty hard decision. I should have written this first, but I can't stress just how welcoming and pleasant the women behind the counter are every time I've gone in. Went to visit relatives and decided to get local pizza. It was a phone order so i ok don't have much to say about the restaurant itself except it was clean and checkout was a non issue. The crust was just okay and the sauce was above average. What really liked was the generous amount of cheese and the fact it was good mozzarella. Public Service Announcement: Do Not order from Danny's Pizza Pizzazz. I placed a large order today through Grub Hub. The delivery person came to the front of the school, put the food on a bench, took a picture saying delivered and picked it back up again and walked off with it. An $87.00 food order. When I called Danny's, they said they don't use Grub Hub, had no deliveries to my name or the school's address and basically denied even making the order. The fool did not realize when he was sneakily taking his picture leaning against a wall that there are multiple camera angles and I can clearly see him and his car. Our IT Department is downloading all the angles, including his clear image and his car and I will upload here on Tuesday. For those of you who will ask, "why throw shade at Danny's?" Because they denied taking the order and have since taken their restaurant off Grub Hub. Who would rob at school? How do you know that wasn't for a child's special event? Shame on you. read more

Their pizza's are good. I have ordered hoagies and wings and things. They are hit or miss. Last Thursday 10/26/23. I ordered a cheese steak with fried onions and mushrooms. 16.00 with tip. The roll had to be microwaved, bc it was like rubber, you know what I mean,. Everyone has microed a bread bf. I called them, it was my lunch and dinner. Local pizza place that serves decent pizza. Sometimes it's really good and other times it's okay. They run specials each night but we usually stick with the Wednesday night large cheese pizza special for $7.99. We have also ordered the chicken finger platter and the baked ziti platter. Both were good and plenty of food. The wings are some of the best we have in this area. Sometimes we get the pizza, wings and soda special. Pizza is good, especially on Sunday and Wednesday night when a large is $7.99ish. You really can't beat that for a New York style large pizza. Ordering from them for almost 20 years. Usually just pizza but tried wings (50). Was charge $20 more than website states. Girl taking order never mentioned an up charge since wings are hard to come by . Outside of admitting their mistake in not making it clear to me did nothing except repeat the same reason. We always order from Danny's. The pizza is usually on point, if you like it cheesy. The crust has just the right bite I want from it. They will floor it for you if you want it extra crispy. The wings are good. It's the only place in town we order pizza from. The location is busy, but the staff is friendly and the food is usually done in the time frame they give you. I was invited to get take out. My mom enjoys the gluten free pizza and pasta options. She got the stuffed shells entree and it came with a decent side salad and garlic knots (that she could not eat so I enjoyed them). I got the cheesesteak hoagie and it was sub par. For the price, I think it was light on meat and cheese. Also, it wasn't very flavorful. The staff seemed nice and attentive. I have not been eating much pizza but I do hope to try it next time I have the chance. read more

I have visited this location multiple times after reading all the good reviews. This review is for the pizza only. I'll start by saying that I have had more than one style of pizza offered here only to have the same experience. The flavors are all very generic. The toppings don't appear to be fresh the sauce doesn't really stand out leaving their crust to do all the heavy lifting. The crust in fact is the only redeeming quality. It has a good taste and texture. Without it, there is only a very unremarkable and average tasting pizza. That being said, the staff is friendly and the prices are fair...ironically the one thing missing is the pizzazz =) read more

I was told by the girl on the phone technically it's only been 56 minutes?? Really!! But okay whatever! ( oh and I had a credit from last order that they conveniently had no idea about! Been going here for years. Lately the food has changed. The pizza has become extremely thin. I ordered a chicken cheese steak today that was probably one of the worst I've ever had. I ended up throwing it out. The Taco Salad is now mostly lettuce and the portion size of their french fries has gotten smaller. I don't know what has happened to Danny's. I've been here a handful of times. The cheese steak french fry pizza is amazing. I've had many of their sandwiches and wraps- all very good. Customer service was always good- eat in and delivery (always on time). Only beef with the delivery is that the driver must have had oil leaking from his car and stained my parent's driveway.. they weren't too happy about that. read more

We've been ordering take out from Danny's for three years now. We've ordered: cheese pizza, cheesesteak pizza, wings, and cheesesteak subs. It's good, not great. The person who answers the phone usually puts you on hold. Usually nice sometimes abrupt and harried. They have messed up our order maybe once or twice but nothing big. The delivery guys are usually very nice and courteous. It takes about 30-45 minutes to get orders delivered. Just happened to stop by Danny's one night after feeding the horses down at the farm. We picked up a large pie with extra cheese and sauce. Absolutely delicious! Real mozzarella and a perfect balance of yumminess in the sauce. We are now hooked! This is a genuine South Jersey pizza joint that puts Philly pizza to shame! A definite go to for now on! Wings are usually very good / quality here! For a place with speciality pizzas as their tagline, they are unfortunately subpar in this department. You are better off getting a sub, wrap, and/or wings. I've never had a salad here, but like I said their pizza department could use some improvement. I have ordered from Dannys pizza forever. I have ordered from two of the other restaurants . I have had very little issues with your food . However last night I ordered two dinners one was eggplant Parmesan made with spinach ricotta cheese eggplant there was no eggplant there was an inch thick of spinach I had to take it out I never had so much spinach in a dish before and could not taste the eggplant at all and no ricotta cheese . Needless to say I was very disappointed . Almost $40 for two dinners there was a lot of it but not good . And they fail to update their pricing online which is only been about $25 . I think next time I'll just order the 799 pizza special and go somewhere else for dinner . For last night I actually give them less than one star . read more

If you want friendly counter staff this is NOT the place to order from. They certainly can brush up on their customer service skills. Also, I suggest NOT getting delivery -- usually about an hour or longer to get your food and it is usually cold or luke warm if lucky. If I had to choose a pizza place in F'TWP I am going with Carollo's (SP)!! Delicious, always courteous and you don't have to wait forever. My family eats here on the regular. Food is always good and you get very healthy portions. The cheesesteak hoagie blankets are huge and delicious, they make the bread right there out of the pizza dough. They also have a custard stand attatched, which is always good. :) read more

I admit it, I have pretty high standards when it comes to food and Danny's just doesn't measure up for myself and my family. I've lived in the area for about 3 years and have really struggled to find a good pizza place who makes a pie that tastes the way good pizza should. The regular cheese pizza leaves much to be desired and in my opinion is a waste of money and calories. My fiance' used to really like the fresh wings, but the sauce is never consistent. The one item I do really enjoy on the menu is the Pizazz Pizza, it's a bit thicker crust and has tomato chunks and fresh basil. Several times we've ordered delivery and the orders have been wrong, once we even received potato skins that were just that.....potato skins without the cheese, bacon and sour cream. My biggest issue with Danny's is the staff. They are VERY ignorant and miserable. You call to place an order or go in to pick up and it's like a bother that they have to wait on you. Makes it very hard to want to give them my money. Danny's really needs much improvement, especially with Corollo's now right in the area. read more
