The staff are always friendly, the order at the counter service is efficient and great for groups (none of that - "I had x,y,z... well who had the a,b,c" messiness that comes with splitting the bill). It can get incredibly busy and bookings are reccommended (even if you just call on the day or when you are on your way in) They host a weekly quiz night and there is a huge members base that participate frequently - a lot of local competition. Highly recommended.

Well, I had seen this place around, so I thought that it might be cool to visit it. First impression was it's got a very take away vibe to the shop itself which isn't a bad thing at all, just the standard fish and chip shot style counter and some seated area to the right of the store with a big screen tv which is a good touch for those who want to eat in. We ordered the esculent burger and small chips which came out in about 10 minutes from ordering and very fresh. The chips themself were fantastic and we loved the fact they had a selection of chilli sauces too! To the burger.... it was OK. Certainly not bad at all but just lacked a little bit of flavor for us, it was very fresh and pretty good value but just needed a bit more punch to the taste. Wouldn't mind trying some other menu items to see what they're like too.

When I asked for a refund, it took quite a while and only the sandwich was refunded, not the coffees we'd had while waiting.
