But it never seems to slow down the service much. Just proves how good they are if that many people go there. You can get any type of traditional style yiros with your own selections of salds, cheese and sauces. But they also do vegetarian, calamari and falafel yiros. Talk about catering for all needs! They have heaps of other variations too with meat in hot packs with chips, salads, vegies or rice or just a take home meat only pack (which are great to buy, take home, and use the marinated yiros meat to put on homemade pizza). I went here instead and found out that they dols the chips the way I wanted them, wrapped not bagged, and I got heaps more for the same amount a very small bag would have cost me at the other place. I found out the shop is under new management and the owner was lovely. He was so understanding and seems to have made some changes for the better as soon as he took over. I grabbed my chips and a menu for future reference and left. The chips were very nice. A little too much chicken salt but I am not a salt fan, I only put chicken salt on chips and nothing else so I can taste even just a small amount. But maybe next time I will ask him for just a little chicken salt. They did have cooked chooks in there ready to go and they smelled great. The seafood in the fridge looked nice and fresh too. I looked at the menu and they are CHEAP! Much cheaper than most other chicken shops. Like a 1/4 chook hot pack is only $7.00. That's about $2 cheaper than other places and if you are buying for my family that would mean I would save $10, for a family of 5, compared to buying elsewhere. For a family on a budget - that's enough of a saving to make me want to go there. Even a hamburger or steak sandwich with the lot are only $6.50 each! Hot dogs with the lot for $5! They also take function orders and phone orders before 7:45pm. AND have EFTPOS!

But now, the staff are great, the menu is diverse and the atmosphere is great. The cafe contains several photographs and paintings from Italy and Europe. This artwork certainly adds a lot of character to the place, as does the comfortable seating near the back of the restaurant. The first time I went, the menu was virtually all seafood. Now there are many other dinner options including pizzas and pasta. I haven't tried these new options yet but they certainly look great. One item that has my attention for my next visit is the Quattro Formmagi (four cheese pizza). They also now have a range of vegetarian pasta options too. Before their new menu, I tried their fish and chips. The chips were decent and fairly crispy with a salad that seemed reasonably fresh too. The fish was decent in size and had a nice thin batter. One thing was that there was not quite enough tartare sauce. I went for breakfast after they introduced their new menu and had their pancakes. For $8, they were quite impressive. They were very fluffy and were served with cream and maple syrup. The edge of the pancake is nice and crispy. I also tried a hot chocolate as well (on a different occasion not to get a sugar overload). The hot chocolate is made with chocolate syrup which does give it quite a rich flavour.
