Grill'd Norwood - Friends of felafel burger

Can't fault Grill'd Norwood. Their burgers are amazingly delicious and the service is great. Large range of burgers for meat eaters, 2 vegetarian options and one vegan option (friends of falafel) which is one of the best burgers on the menu. Their chips are crispy and tasty and come with a choice of dipping sauces. The tomato relish is nice and if you're into really hot/spicy sauces, there is a chili mayo. Plenty of soft drinks and alcoholic beverages too. You won't leave hungry!! P.S the location of this burger joint is ideal for catching a movie after as there is a Hoyts in the same complex.

Adelaide been invaded by Grill'd!!! Welcomed to Adelaide! On this drizzly wintry day, the queue was long and everyone was patient to sample free burgers! What a clever marketing plan, give them a taste n they will keep coming back, as I will. Honestly, after an hour and a half of queuing in the cold, anything is fantastic for free - cheeky comment not warranted, so here's the correction, the burger I had was genuinely tasty, moist and no short cuts even on this busy sampling day. I wish I could fit in another but we were told to experience the taste and be considerate of others after us and besides one was more than enough for me as the patty was a generous serve n well grilled with fresh salad of lettuce and tomatoes and herb mayo. There was meat in every mouthful I took. There were knives n extra napkins placed in containers on the table for those who needs to cut the burger into bite size, how thoughtful! Healthy burger they advertised, on offer were grass fed lean beef and lamb, free from all added hormones & antibiotics. There was no mention of free range chicken but lean breast meat trimmed of all fat being used for chicken burgers. I didn't order any chips but there were several types being offered as I noticed as they passed me by to other diners. The full menu is long, you will just have to find that out yourself! Forgot to mention about the bacon, they are 'trim bacon', so if you are expecting some grease, forget it.

After two visits, Grill'd has lived up to my burger expectations! With a convenient location, lots of seating and outdoor heating Grill'd has a lot going for it - and that's without even considering the burgers! There are lots of burger options (including gluten free and bun less) so it's easy to find something that you want. The burgers taste nice and fresh, and don't make you feel like you've eaten 'fast food'. The chips are great (and thick cut), although I wasn't amazed by the sweet potato chips. Plain tomato sauce is complimentary, although you can also purchase specialty sauces with your meal. Alcohol is also available along with the usual drink varieties. Staff are very friendly and there are always so many of them around to help. Considering how busy it was, the food service was quite fast. After your meal is delivered, a waiter even comes around to check that you are enjoying your meal. Great burgers, great service and great location!

Grilled is my preferred burger because it's hefty but not oily. Been appreciating these burgers since they started on Glenferrie Rd

I'm getting my braces tightened (meaning I'll be a bit sore soon) so this burger was kinda like my Last Supper. My happiness was riding on the quality of this meal.... I was not disappointed! I ordered the Republic burger which comes with house sauce, beef, tomato, lettuce and red onion for a reasonable $10. I added cheese, beetroot and egg for $1.50 each, because I love me some egg and beet root on a burger! My boyfriend ordered the Special of the Week which was the Tradie Burger. Heaven in my mouth. The buns are soft and fresh, the meat juicy, the flavours fantastic and the fries golden. I love soft, squishy burgers and these hit the spot. Served on wooden boards with a side of fries ($3.50 extra) the serving size was pretty generous! I am nursing a burger baby as I type. My boyfriend felt like it was a perfect amount - not too scrawny and not too massive. My stomach disagrees...I won't be eating anything else today that's how full and satisfied it is! Overall the service was friendly and it was pretty busy for a late lunch on a Tuesday but we weren't waiting too long. Will definitely be going back. So far this place is the TOP burger place for me in Adelaide!

The one time we hadn't was from 1 individual, which she may have been new, but really didn't know customer service, but you have to let that slide, because it was 1 individual 1 time. I like the space they have, and the big share tables, a lot more place to get a seat than Nordburger, and they have a great range of craft beer and softies. Now to the crux of it, the burgers. Solid burgers. Is it the one meal I want to eat before I die? Probably not. Is it a go to when I feel like a very decent burger at a very decent price? Yes!! They are solid solid burgers. The fries and onion rings - also very legit. A massive shout out to the range of sauces you can choose from the wall. Legit.

Every time I see their truck out, I get all high school girl excited. There is something about a business like this. I think what really captures me is when you meet a owner that is just so passionate about what they do. There is so much thought, attention to detail and expertise here. From cooking methods to their business style. It just reflects how cool they are as individuals, and something I really want to support and share. Oh yeah, their food is beyond good as well! After counting down the hours until this restaurant opened it's doors, we finally made it inside the restaurant. It's dark, comfy and just so much fun! There are all sorts of cool critters and artistic elements. Just go see it for yourself. I should point out, it features some booths too, so great for groups. I had the Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich. Oh yeah baby! Crispy, tasty, juicy chicken which is cut through with come fresh slaw. You can order this with fries on the side, but we opted for cheesy fries! So glad we did! These fries were covered in home made cheese sauce and crumbled cheesy bits, I kind of just wanted to put my face into the bowl and chew. Oh, I also had a bite or two of the Cheese Steak Philly. Well, well, well... God in sandwich form? But beware, this is a hefty meal. Be prepared to feel overwhelmed with amazing flavour and cheesy goodness. It is definitely not for the faint hearted or those watching the their waistline. It is amazing though and I really do recommend trying it. Ok, so let's just say this, get down there now before you have to wait in a line. This place is going get popular real fast. Bring your friends, family and neighbours. I got the mushroom burger with a fat juicy panko-crumbed portabello advertised ($8.70). When it arrived I was surprised as to how small the burger was. It was delicious but I was left wanting more! My partner I think ordered the cheeseburger ($8.70) and again it was a small serving. considering the price we paid we were expecting a lot more size-wise Our Royale fries were messed up, we were given a basket of chilli cheese fries, then the Royal Fries came out - we only paid for one basket and I was afraid someone missed out. The cheese tasted super processed, floury and we couldnt eat them, they were not pleasurable at all. Note that the cheese makes the fries soggy and you have to eat them with a fork. Less cheese would be more, perhaps? I heard the new store on Glen Osmond road is a lot better, but a little out of our way to try. Make the burgers bigger and we'd be happier!
