As we have been busy working on our house the last 5 months trying to get it ready in time for xmas, we dont leave the worksite till late. Most places are shut by 9pm and we are usually left scouring the streets (or yelp) for alternatives to hungry jacks or macDs. So when I was craving for a burger last night, he suggested coming here even though we knew chances were slim theyd still be open. I couldnt happier to see that lights were still on and some burger flippin''! didnt think id managed much of the giant burger but the first bite got me wanting more.

There is a very friendly and neighbourly vibe about BF. I said to my sister that it felt like we were in a trendy burger joint in USA. There was a great mix of young people, families and older people - which is great to see. The staff are super friendly and ready to offer menu suggestions and assistance. My burger was great, the chips was nice and the tater tots were amazing! We also ordered peanut butter milkshakes which were nice, but as a peanut butter lover I thought they should have been more peanutty. Overall, I'm a fan of BF and will definitely visit again.

Kudos to the guys at Grill'd for a great meal! The atmosphere was lovely, music fantastic (Eminem), and the food came out in less than 5minutes after ordering, which given the fact that they were basically full was fabulous! I really like their campaign to donate money each month to local charities, with a specially made beer bottle top where you get to place it in the box of the charity of your choice! Only thing that needs improving is the seating, it was a tad uncomfortable #RIPBooty! All in all will definitely be making this a regular dinner spot and definitely would recommend!

We called in our order ahead of time for three burgers and two orders of sweet potato chips. We had no issues when we had no problems when we arrived for our pickup, bit as soon as we got back to the house, we noticed one of the orders of chips were missing. My friend called and the attendant said that she only had one order of chips on the order. We went back to the shop to pick up the second order and the attendant made my friend pay for it. I ordered the satay chicken burger, which I found to be quite tasty and very filling. I added avocado on top and it made it even better. The meal came out to 14.50 without a side of chips, a little expensive. Overall, good meal , but quite pricey and disappointed in the mixup.

I used to live in Blackwood. I thought it was a great little burb in the foothills, but something…read morewas always missing. I couldn't quite put my finger on it. Anyway, we moved further into the hills to Bridgewater and about 2 months after the move a friend asked us if we had been to fancy burgers. "Fancy what?" I said. "What burgers?". "What are you talking about?" I was upset. Why did the universe create a burger joint that was the talk of the town after I had moved. It was not good. A few weeks later I tried my first Fancy Burger, and I was hooked. So much so that since then I have dedicated every drive I make past Blackwood to nagging until I get a Fancy Burger. Their holy smokes burger is my favorite, but the hot chicky, the lamb one with the tzatziki, their thick chips with the rosemary salt and their herby mayo are all killer. They also have great beers and local cider there. If anything the only criticism is that the place could be bigger and more comfy with beer on tap, but that's just going a bit blue sky there. I love fancy burger so much I want to get a tshirt or something. George, the owner is a champ and all the staff are cool. If I was a teenager I'd want to work there and if I lived in Blackwood I'd sell my oven and plates and eat there every night

I must admit, first impressions were "oh yeah, this is just another burger bar" But I was very…read morepleasantly surprised. This is a burger bar - but their food was great :) I don't normally like burger bars - because I am not a huge fan of big beef patties, particularly when they are cooked medium (as I like my meat well done) But I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had a number of vegetarian options. My mum also has a gluten intolerance - so burger bars can be problematic for her too - but they happily made her an open burger with no bread. There are many places along Jetty Road at the bay - butt his one is definitely worth a look in :) I noted while I was down at the bay that McDonalds has closed down - with burger bars like this in the area - I am not surprised!! I will definitely be back.

The signage does not stand out and it really does look like just another take out store but the burgers are absolutely sensational. The toppings are generous and so is the size of the burger. I had the beef mushroom burger and my sister had the chicken mushroom burger. The toppings on my 'beef mushroom' burger included cheese, coleslaw, red onion and mustard. Probably good to mention that they have six different vegetarian burgers which is a pleasant surprise I imagine for any vegetarian or healthy concious person. The service is great considering how busy they were! Also the burgers are excellent value for what you get- which is fresh toppings and generous sizes. Plus, we had a brief chat to the owners and found out that this is a family run business. It ALWAYS feels better to support South Australian businesses. We'll be back for sure!

I am a fan of eNuf burgers, they are more than eNuf! ;) hah hah what a pun!…read moreI have been to this burger joint many times and I am so un-adventurous that I get the same burger every time, the eNuf burger. My logic is that if it's good, why risk trying another?? I love the fact you can choose what type of bun you want - I always get damper. The chips are crispy but soft inside (yum!) and the onion rings are uhhh-mazing! I've never had a bad burger experience at eNuf, however my other-half has had a dry patty before and didn't love it. There are tables to sit an eat at, with your burger served on the fashionable wooden board or you can also get takeaway. If you fancy something different, they do a monthly special burger so for example this month it was a roast lamb with mint jelly! One downside is the lack of parking available and sometimes the tables look like they haven't been wiped in a while. The burgers are great though!

Cute little place, perfect amount of seating, good prices, I decided I was epicly hungry, so I ordered the Berenburger, which was a beef patty, beetroot, egg, bacon and heck knows what other goodness but it was huge, I need spice so added chipotle to my burger. Sweet potato fries with aioli always a must anywhere on the side... Then my epic burger arrived, half way through eating it I realised the chipotle chilli's were actually sundried chipotles, they were the tastiest mini mouth explosion ever. It made the whole burger. The meat was not over cooked, no gristle, no junk, it was smooth and full of flavour. The only reason i removed one star is because when a franchise or a business has another location the other location should match in quality and a week after visiting this site i needed my hit and went to the Magill one and things just weren't the same. Final note: If there is a chilli option, no matter what it is, hot sauce, chilli's whatever, always opt to add it!

I got the mushroom burger with a fat juicy panko-crumbed portabello advertised ($8.70). When it arrived I was surprised as to how small the burger was. It was delicious but I was left wanting more! My partner I think ordered the cheeseburger ($8.70) and again it was a small serving. considering the price we paid we were expecting a lot more size-wise Our Royale fries were messed up, we were given a basket of chilli cheese fries, then the Royal Fries came out - we only paid for one basket and I was afraid someone missed out. The cheese tasted super processed, floury and we couldnt eat them, they were not pleasurable at all. Note that the cheese makes the fries soggy and you have to eat them with a fork. Less cheese would be more, perhaps? I heard the new store on Glen Osmond road is a lot better, but a little out of our way to try. Make the burgers bigger and we'd be happier!

Highly recommended.
