This is actually a rather odd little burger joint in that it appears to have been an old warehouse, which sort of doesn't give it the same feel as some of the other places that I have been to. Anyway, it isn't bad, and it is certainly quite large, and they also have a number of booths. I ended up going for the standard burger and some Tatter Tots, which are actually small balls of fried potatoes, which is a little different. They also have beer available, which certainly adds to the experience, but then again a lot of the newer burger joints are starting to do that as well. Okay, it may not be as cheap as your standard fast food restaurants, but the atnosphere, and the burgers, are somewhat better. It is certainly one that I would consider coming back to again.

Cheeseburger, Tater Tots and Shake. Winning combination!

It's unashamedly exciting to have a burger place that can seat large groups and serve amazing honest food. Don't get me wrong - *puts both hands in the air* - , there are plenty of amazing burger places in Adelaide, the original Nordburger included, but this newest addition to the Nordbuger family is huge! And it is fantastic. Going to Nordbuger is certainly more of an experience than a "Grab and Go" joint. You can tell there is love and a lot of thought that has gone into the layout, menu, beverage list and even the staff hired to work the counter and kitchen areas. As well as a small variety of burgers on the menu is there is also a variety in the choices of fries. I always get the tater tots but be warned! These sides are certainly large enough to share! Oh and definitely get the fry sauce on the side. It's kind of like Mac sauce but way better If you're going for the full experience make sure you try a delicious milkshake to complement your all american style meal! Can't do dairy? There are plenty of soft drinks (and i think beers) to wet your whistle. Post-Nordburger, make sure you dont have a heavy work load or busy afternoon. You will definitely need some time to enjoy your self inflicted food coma. And it will be marvelous!

No one likes a limp chip. I hate old soggy chips. Please Nord. Make them fresh to order. Burger was great. Shake was great. Chips were yuk.

Thank the lord and heavens above, the eateries around Hindmarsh (aka the 'burb of my workplace) are going from strength to strength! With the recent addition of Nordburger (the original store is located in Norwood, this is a second incarnation) my lunch time choices are beginning to look abundant! I'd had Nordburger before and thoroughly enjoyed it - this time was no different! The new building is spacious, with plenty of seating areas (unlike the crowded Norwood store) but it still gets super busy at peak times. The ordering process is a bit long and convoluted - there are definitely some issues to iron out there, however once your order is placed, the food is ready super quickly - in less than 5 minuets! The burgers are messy but delicious - although I'm still not sold on the fact that lettuce and tomato are considered extras - however due to the deliciousness of the sauce and patty, I'll let that slide. I also ordered some chilli beef cheese fries to share with a friend and although they were nice, they were incredibly messy to eat with the cocktail fork provided - it was like trying to eat a bowl of rice with only a tooth pick! Next time I'll just take my own fork... I'm keen to get around some of the interesting milk shake flavours, some soft serve and some of the delectable looking butter milk fried chicken...but those are temptations for next time...!

Sorry it's not clear!

Nordburger. As good as the name suggests, sometimes all you need is a darn good American style burger and chips in a funky kinda vintage but kinda modern convenient burger bar. It's a greasy, yummy messy burger that is cheap and cheerful. My husband doesn't like the dripping fat but I say, what's a burger with out a few drips?! ;) the fries were pretty good but nothing to 'yelp' about ;) see photos for a fuzzy menu :)

Not the best burger in Adelaide but certainly not the worst. It's a mid range burger but adequately priced. Would do again.

We've been here twice as others have raved about how great the burgers were. Our first time we went…read moreclose to closing time and didn't have the best experience, so thought we'd give them another go Again before another movie, we ordered a burger and a royale fries ($6.40) to share. I got the mushroom burger with a fat juicy panko-crumbed portabello advertised ($8.70). When it arrived I was surprised as to how small the burger was. It was delicious but I was left wanting more! My partner I think ordered the cheeseburger ($8.70) and again it was a small serving. considering the price we paid we were expecting a lot more size-wise Our Royale fries were messed up, we were given a basket of chilli cheese fries, then the Royal Fries came out - we only paid for one basket and I was afraid someone missed out. The cheese tasted super processed, floury and we couldnt eat them, they were not pleasurable at all. Note that the cheese makes the fries soggy and you have to eat them with a fork. Less cheese would be more, perhaps? I heard the new store on Glen Osmond road is a lot better, but a little out of our way to try. Make the burgers bigger and we'd be happier!

Their burgers are genuinely tasty, the chips…read moreare crisp and flavorsome, and the service is amazingly fast, considering the length of the queues. I've waited far longer at McDonalds. Best of all, they realize you can't eat a proper burger without getting a little messy, so provide a large sink station at the far end of the bar, allowing you to clean yourself up before moving on. Highly recommended.

I'm getting my braces tightened (meaning I'll be a bit sore soon) so this burger was kinda like my Last Supper. My happiness was riding on the quality of this meal.... I was not disappointed! I ordered the Republic burger which comes with house sauce, beef, tomato, lettuce and red onion for a reasonable $10. I added cheese, beetroot and egg for $1.50 each, because I love me some egg and beet root on a burger! My boyfriend ordered the Special of the Week which was the Tradie Burger. Heaven in my mouth. The buns are soft and fresh, the meat juicy, the flavours fantastic and the fries golden. I love soft, squishy burgers and these hit the spot. Served on wooden boards with a side of fries ($3.50 extra) the serving size was pretty generous! I am nursing a burger baby as I type. My boyfriend felt like it was a perfect amount - not too scrawny and not too massive. My stomach disagrees...I won't be eating anything else today that's how full and satisfied it is! Overall the service was friendly and it was pretty busy for a late lunch on a Tuesday but we weren't waiting too long. Will definitely be going back. So far this place is the TOP burger place for me in Adelaide!

The one time we hadn't was from 1 individual, which she may have been new, but really didn't know customer service, but you have to let that slide, because it was 1 individual 1 time. I like the space they have, and the big share tables, a lot more place to get a seat than Nordburger, and they have a great range of craft beer and softies. Now to the crux of it, the burgers. Solid burgers. Is it the one meal I want to eat before I die? Probably not. Is it a go to when I feel like a very decent burger at a very decent price? Yes!! They are solid solid burgers. The fries and onion rings - also very legit. A massive shout out to the range of sauces you can choose from the wall. Legit.

Size - bigger than a slider but smaller than a big old burger = just right. There are also slider size burgers for kids. 3. Chips - look like hand cut and seem to be infused with a herb - maybe rosemary? Crispy and delicious. 4 sauces to choose with the chips. We bought herbed mayo. Had a dill avoider so probably not the best choice. Others BBQ, chili mayo, tomato. 4. Price - Burgers around $10, chips (s, m, l) around $5, drinks $5ish = $54 meal for 3. 5. It's licensed! A limited but adequate selection of beers (James Squire, Heineken), ciders and piccolo wines. Ring ahead for takeaway. The burgers were fantastic and they let us build our own. Importantly they use whole wheat buns but I still found some of the bun tops too high (you dont want 80 percent bread!) but luckily most of them were soft enough to flatten. Great filling choices such as egg plant, peppers, Swiss cheese, goats curd etc. and good relish! Fantastic tasty grilled beef and grilled chicken breast so we were all impressed!
