They also have focaccias and pre-made sandwiches down in the glass case that are very yummy. There are two vegetarian options but anything can be made vegetarian. You can make a custom sandwich as well so you've got quite a few options. The only real negatives are that they sometimes take a while to take your order because it gets busy and the 'sandwich artists' don't know who arrived before who but that just means you need to speak up, which I'm not so good at. And the other negative is that it's quite expensive. A roll costs 8.90 and a sandwich costs 7.90 but if you're looking for a filling, healthy option among fast food, it's worth it. They also have halal and gluten free options, just let the staff know :)

Once I did find it I was welcomed by friendly staff. Basic toasties at $7.50 and more adventurous toasties are $9.50, each with about 2 or 3 different ingredients. Looks like each toastie takes max 5 minutes to make and if you dine in, it comes with a little salad too. I tried the Tandoori Chicken toastie on recommendation from the staff and was not disappointed. Coffee was pretty good too. Great for a quick lunch if you're in the area, don't forget to leave a note on the blackboard too!

It's conveniently located in the newly revamped (check out all the new stores!) Central Market arcade, best located near the entrance coming in from Gouger St. The 'gourmet' toasties start form $9.50, they also do house shakes etc and a whole slew of other brilliant creations. If sweet toasties are you thing, they do that too! I got the roast pork, sauerkraut and cheese toastie with pumpkin bread which was pretty damn good. It comes with a salad as well which makes the meal perfect! I also go the Agro milkshake - give them a go! Protip: Come before or after lunchtime, it gets pretty busy and service can be lacking a bit.

But because I needed an iron hit that's what I opted for. The steak sandwich arrived on my table, it looked pretty much like any other I'd had before but then I took a bite. ..... PERFECTION! It wasn't until a friend drove me to his favourite shop that I got to try the great selection. The guys Adam and Joe took over from the original owners and cakes are made specially by Marissa. On this visit I tried only the ice cream and gelato. It was very tasty and will have to work through all of them to find my favourite. There are not many tables inside and it is a very casual setting. What I did notice was the large number of people coming through the door for a takeaway ice cream. I'll be back.

This is one popular hot spot for folks making the trek down Henley Beach Road to the beach or from the beach. Good solid hamburgers with a mix of salads available and a range of cakes. There are all the grocery type items you'll need if you live in the immediate area and for those of you wishing to stop for a drink there are all the obvious choices available including Adelaide's favourite - Iced Coffee - yes the whole Deli has been painted up to resemble a big carton of Farmer's Union Iced Coffee, but you know, that's just how things get done when you run a family store. It really is the fresh food that is made, the cut sandwiches and the flipped burgers that have made this a number one secret venue for several years now. There is outdoor seating and tables for up to half a dozen or so people and there is a park right next door with trees and grass, so it's an ideal spot to stop if you are on the move. My first visit was for a coffee and I'll have to say that it wasn't good. Yes, I consider myself and a bit of a coffee snob but I'm willing take into account it's a food stall in a Westfield... This one however was not good, the coffee was boiling and tasted burnt. My next visit I decided to get the pulled pork bun... At $9.90 it's right on the cusp of being a little overpriced for a shopping centre due to the fact is doesn't come with anything else... It was however... Very tasty, filling and came out super quick. It was even good enough to give them a second chance on the coffee front next time I'm in that part of shopping centre... Who am I kidding! I'll be going out of my way for it because the centre doesn't really offer too much else in terms of quality eats. I'm very keen to try the American hotdog next. Slight update. (both $9) In a word? YUM-AZING. To top it off, they have *cherry* Dr. Pepper in the fridge. These guys literally cannot get any damn better! The truck shows up in various spots around the CBD for lunchtime, so check their FB page for where they're going to be on a given day. They also have a cute 'bar' type table to stand and have your coffee which overlooks the park but also overlooks the car park and smokers tend to gather here! The coffee is always good and I even get extra loyalty points for using my own cup! If your in Stirling definitely pop in here and grab a coffee and enjoy.

The cafe is always clean, although it is a little dark but it's a warm darkness, like the inside of a hug. The car park is another massive positive for this place (car parking in Mt Barker is an ongoing battle) it's big and there's plenty of turning room. I'm always able to get a park. A bakery that's like a professional dark hug, with a big car park. What's not to like?
