    Delicious Bonsoy latte
    Chloe R.

I'm still normally coming to my senses around 10am and as a result I do enjoy a slow paced, big healthy breakfast over a nice long chat and a mug of coffee in a cafe. 15 points go to these guys for incredibly efficient and very friendly, hospitable service. I have had breakfast here twice and both times my coffee has almost arrived at my table before I return from ordering my coffee and the food doesn't follow much later. They are so keen to serve you quickly that often the food and drink come out at different times for different people at the table. I'm always the favourite and get everything first though so I'm not complaining ;) Despite the funky names of dishes, the food is incredibly simple, healthy and fresh. The spicy corn fritters with a poached egg added on the side is my favourite; with a surprising kick of chilli in the fritters. I like a bit of spontaneity and surprise ingredients in my meals, otherwise I feel I could have cooked it myself and so it is unfortunate that other dishes I have had here are very "literal" - ie. poached eggs on toast with avo and tomato is just that... Coffee is delicious and so are the smoothies (go green and you won't be disappointed or shocked by a grassy tasting drink). I'd heard so many things about this place I was expecting to be blown off my distressed look, trendy wooden chair upon perusing and eating from the menu but it wasn't the case. I would definitely return if I was need of a healthy and quick breakfast but not for the long leisurely brunch/gossip sessions I enjoy with my girlfriends.

    First in! Delicious!

Awarded a spot in my cluttered heart this unassuming cafe delivered above and beyond what was expected. Having a furry child slung under one arm and trundling up and down Melbourne street past 12 things were looking grim when trying to find a place aside from Primos that would do all day breakfast without having to leave our dog in the car...thank Zeus for UR CAFE. The thing that I loved the most was the service; nothing dettered the staff from delivering the food. Time is king in this kitchen and who cares if dessert comes out first and the dish order is out of whack you can tell there is a greyhound-like race mentality in getting food on tables that I love and admire above all. As far as food goes it was delicious and well cooked without skimping on the servings. The salmon came in a thick rosette instead of the usual USSR war portions served at most cafes. Sharing our breakfasts we had more than enough to keep us happy. The coffee was great and the small tables accommodated us so we will be back!

Amazing staff and service. Smashed avocado dish was delicious. Affordable prices. Warm and welcoming atmosphere.

A new kid on the block this awesome grunge cafe on Melbourne St North Adelaide, ia just what the youngones need, instead of the ususal run of the mill, stock standard cafes taking over in chains. Love the relaxed feel, the decor, the service and especially the fairly priced food, excellent coffee and service with a genuine smile. They have a loyalty card where you can add points and redeem when you get enough for a free coffee. There's a large blackboard on one wall displaying a coffee menu and prices. It has only been open since August 2011 and if they play their cards right and don't let things go to their head, it'll become an Adelaide icon. So go visit and tell all your friends about it.

Excellent coffee, nice for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Very casual, fusion of Asian dishes with you traditional brekky and sarnies. Busy, but we can often still find a spot in the weekends.

The salmon thing with Thai curry was really good! Interesting flavors and a very different breakfast choice. Bf had some kinda teriyaki mushroom on toast. It would have been better if there wasn't Teri sauce drizzled over everything as it was too much and too sweet.

Meh. This place was average. I stumbled across it on a morning walk but I thought everything was a bit lacklustre... It was friendly enough and coffee was okay enough and food was edible but nothing fantastic. It was missing simple things like salt & pepper- didn't even have it on the table had to go looking for it... Meh I am not from Adelaide so probably wont be back anyway but moral of the story is I wouldn't if I did live in the area.

"Omega X" breakfast.. Pretty damn good .. Plus the coffee was great... Nice little Cafe with a very chilled atmosphere..

Very tasty "Omega X" breakfast Smoked salmon, layered ontop of scrambled eggs. With a asparagus and radish base.. With a very tasty and interesting Thai spicy sauce... Highly recommended... Plus the iced long black was great..

This place really lives up to its name. Right from the moment you walk in staff really help to make it feel like "UR" cafe! Great brekkie/brunch options each with a unique "UR" cafe twists on classic options like eggs benny - done "UR Benny" style! Delicious! Top staff and top food and coffee Plus access to Wifi - superb!

    Nana, goodness

Nice quaint caffe in Adelaide. Nana was so enjoyable, banana nut bread with a nicely sugar caramelized banana. Tangelo has a very light citrus flavor, not overpowering at all, intact it could use a little more citrus but still delicious

Everything I had on the this plate, tasted as great at the presentation itself. My words for food lately have been minimal, as the food just cant be explained.

Great cafe in Melbourne street. Service was one of the quickest I've experienced. Really great casual industrial feel, good coffee, bfast menu is varied and of reasonable value. Really enjoyable food.

Needless to say it has haunted my dreams since, so today after a hard workout my husband and I biked over for lunch. The first thing that strikes you while approaching from Kitchener Street is the lush, inviting covered wrap around porch; there is plentiful and adequately spaced tables located here (so as not to be forced to overhear unwanted convos). Next, upon entering this clean and tidy cottage you will notice three separate distinct seating areas: the main dining area, a smaller dining area tucked away by the kitchen and pastry counter, and a delightful and welcoming covered deck. We were promptly greeted by one of the friendly staff and seated straight away. Tap water, glasses, and menus were waiting at the table and after an appropriate amount of time our order was taken and special requests confirmed. This place is really busy but it seems well managed; the staff is very attentive without being intrusive. As we waited for our order we noticed the bustling and efficient staff who worked like a well oiled machine - dirty dishes were quickly removed from tables, additional carafes of tap water were dropped off without being asked for, and patrons seemed relaxed, very happy, and satisfied. By meals' end we, too, were among those happy people. My husband ordered a sandwich that I struggle to recall the name ;( it was a hearty sandwich made from perfectly toasted sourdough, grilled chicken breast meat, swiss cheese, garlic aioli, a mix of tender and flavourful greens, and crispy bacon. I ordered the smashed avocado with feta on the same delightfully prepared sourdough. It, too, came with a generous portion of greens. We could not be happier with our newfound neighbourhood brekkie place. AND there is a coffee loyalty card to boot!

The Parade West may be and could be a busy thoroughfare but I hardly notice it being a Monday morning. The deco overall is minimalist with 2 separate dinning areas, the back area is nice and quiet if you wish to 'work'. Food wise, there are bagels, brownies, melting moments etc but the choice is limited, I didn't see any food menu on the counter but I noticed there's a sandwich press and toaster. I am sure if you'd ask, they will tell you what they have to offer. All coffees are double roasted. Great place to be if you want to avoid the 'crowd' of the Parade. There are heaps of offices in the precinct and with great coffees they will do well!

A few name changes later, it was the ever popular Nano's with a roaring trade that gave them the confidence to step up to the big league and open a much larger store off Rundle Street, much to the disappointment of Hutt Street locals. Since then it has been rebadged as Arlecchino's (ar-la-key-knows), a traditional Italian joint with mamma at the front counter. There is a fair variety of rolls and sandwiches with a handful of hot dishes, and a few sweet treats for after. My favourite is a corn fritter with salad - very reasonable at around $15. Unfortunately, the coffee doesn't have much depth and is usually served scalding hot, even when I've asked for it at Italian temperature. The best bit about this cafe is the beautiful tuscan courtyard covered with vines. It is a lovely spot to escape the business of the street and a popular place to meet friends for a midday meal.

While the food has been good here, the coffee has let it down a touch, but I must say that on this particular day, the coffee was excellent!! I was told that in the coming months a lot will be added to the current menu. Pizza's, Pasta's and gelati.
