I had to fix the door by busting some of the frame to get the door to close. just for me to be told there's nothing they can do. common curtsey would have been to let me know they wasn't able to get the door closed so I could have went out that day to close the door, instead of it being left open for 3 days. poor communication and very unprofessional. I mean the tech admitted he didn't lock the door, but still was told there's nothing was nothing they could do. Needless to say I won't be continuing services with them.

So be very careful if you sign up that you're on the hook for more than you realize. I don't recommend using Bug n a Rug based on lack of results, but if you do be aware of your financial commitment.

I never leave negative reviews, but I feel cheated by this company and I want to warn others…read more Frankly, I am still holding out hope that they will make things right. They were friendly and did some crawl space repairs for me in June 2022, I thought all was good. A year later, I had a mold problem inside my house, including in the boots of my vents. I contacted Crawlspace Fitness numerous times to see if they could verify that the vapor barrier still looked intact and that no mold was coming from the crawl space. They never replied. Another company looked, and told me that the majority of the vapor barrier had become unsealed. They also said that I now need a dehumidifier, because after CF sealed the crawl space, it has become like a greenhouse. (There was no mold in the vents, which was my initial concern.) When I told them that CF installed it, they said they weren't surprised and had seen shoddy work from them before. I let Josh know in writing that I wanted them to take a look, as I'd like to continue to work with CF if possible, and a 5 year warranty was stated on our invoice. He finally replied and said he'd moved to Tennessee, was establishing the business there, and was working on staffing the Wilmington office. He also said he found it highly unlikely that that much of our vapor barrier had come unsealed. However, he never sent anyone to verify that. I don't have the email receipt of this, as it was on an inquiry form through their site. This was a year ago. I have called, left voicemails, and emailed many times to inquire if they could just look at my crawl space and if needed, repair it. I never heard back. I now have to cut my losses and pay another company potentially a great deal of money to repair the first job that CF did. Less urgently but still bothersome. They build 2 custom crawl space doors for us for $500. Less than 2 years later, some of the latches don't close all the way and the doors are warped. If they reach out to me, I will be happy to edit or take down this review. Sometimes, this is the only thing that works. I attached an image of my unanswered emails and the 5 year warranty statement on my invoice. This does not include the inquiry form or the phone calls.
