Took my kiddos there for a quick bite and they loved the grill cheese with french fries! It was seasoned and not the way they've had grill cheese before so they enjoyed it a lot. The staff was also very friendly and the dining area was clean with artwork that piqued my daughter's interest. We can't wait to go back and try other food soon!

The food is good but the fish is not crispy enough for me. The grits and the eggs was fine. The service was regular ( not bad) and the atmosphere was average.

I had been hearing about Manna @ Northland for a few months and today I finally was able to make a visit. I am so happy I did because my belly is warm & fuzzy. It was a difficult decision but I ended up with the all day breakfast item of shrimp & grits. The grits were the white hominy kind with a creamy corny flavor. The shrimps were layered on top in a light, creamy sauce. Service was quick & friendly. Stop in as soon as you get a chance.

Grateful to have had catering during an event at the north land workforce training center! The green beans were incredible, the flavoring and pepper were so delicious! The chicken cutlet and Mac and cheese were good - they did those staples well but nothing blew me away other than the beans. The vanilla wafer pudding was also delicious! We had the kindest young staff to serve us.

Went with a group of friends and overall we all enjoyed our meals. I had the Fried chicken with red beans and rice which came with cornbread. The chicken was juicy and seasoned well. I really liked the spice combination on the skin. The beans and rice weren't magical, but where very good. As was the cornbread which had corn kernels in it. Never had it that way and Iike the little surprises when I got a kernel in a bite. This restaurant is located in the Northland Workforce Training Center as their primary eatery and though it's housed there for the students/trainees it's open to the public and offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Service was prompt and staff were very friendly too!

Fish dinner with Mac & cheese and slaw!

If you're looking for that authentic Buffalo charm without feeling like you've accidentally…read moretrespassed into your grandmother's historically preserved living room, this is the spot. From the second you walk in, the house radiates that classic, cozy "Old Buffalo" energy that makes you want to cancel your plans and just exist in a state of perpetual relaxation. To the left of the entrance is the dining room. It's less of a room and more of a 24/7 hospitality hug. There is a relentless flow of snacks: chips, pretzels, fruit, and candy. The drink selection is equally aggressive in the best way possible (Nespresso, BOTH Pepsi and Coke products, beers, and teas). I spent an embarrassing amount of time just surveying my options. The Room (The Grover Cleveland): The room is a great mix of "I'm in a historical landmark" and "Thank God there's a heated bathroom floor." It's well-preserved but doesn't lack the modern essentials. The Pros: Mini-fridge, wall-mounted TV with streaming, and a shower with a hand wand (excellent water pressure, too). They even left two pitchers of water for me, one chilled, one room temp. That is the kind of over-preparedness I appreciate. The large windows allow tons of natural light to enter. Wall mounted Aveda shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the roomy shower. And yes, the bathroom has a wall-console controlled heated floor!! There are two luggage racks, writing desk and two comfy lounge chairs along with the king sized bed. One side has a nightstand with alarm clock abd the other side has a marble shelf on top of an old-style steam heater. There are plenty of plugs around the room and the door has bolt lock with old-style key. The Con: My only tiny gripe? The pillows. They were a bit on the "pancake" side of the spectrum, very thin and definitely not fluffy. If you like a firm loft, you might find them lacking. The Amenities The fireside library and parlor are perfect for pretending you're reliving the 18th-century lifestyle, and the covered front porch is elite-tier for people-watching. Parking is easy: you can pay for the off-street spot or just roll the dice with the free street parking (which was totally fine). The Food & The "Staff" The breakfast spread is legit. We're talking yogurt varieties, hard-boiled eggs, fresh fruit, homemade granola, and homemadr scones that I am still thinking about days later. Seriously, the scones alone are worth the booking. Also, special shout-out to the resident dog who clearly thinks he's the General Manager. He's the friendliest employee on the payroll. The location is walkable to a bunch of local shops and restaurants, so you're right in the heart of things. If you want a comfy stay that is affordable and feels historical but isn't "stuffy," this is your place!

The inn is located in ElmWood- the area is very walkable. Close by to many local shops and restaurants. The inn communal area is very pretty and is filled with histories. We were in awe how well maintained the inn was. The staffs were all very friendly. I really enjoyed talking to Polly. She was very accommodating. The stay comes with light breakfast included. The room is huge and is nicely furnished. Some improvement suggestions I would have is having more outlets or extension cords. The room actually faced the street and it was shockingly not too noisy, though I thought the inn was thoughtful when I saw they did provide a white noise machine. I highly recommend checking out this place if you're in Buffalo NY. Definitely worth the money.

From the first e-mail and phone call that Shannon and I exchanged to our last text message the day after my wedding, she was an absolute pleasure and delight to work with. She knew every detail of our entire wedding weekend, she flawlessly executed my ceremony and venue decor set-ups in concert with our venue's banquet coordinator and she kept our entire bridal party on schedule the entire day. When I would think of something, I would turn to Shannon to say it, but she had already handled it. She had a smile on her face the entire day, and made us feel loved and provided for, as if we were her own family members getting married. But most of all? She took care of OUR MOMs so that they never had to stress or worry about any moment of the big day. I hope someday I have some reason to hire Shannon again. I was quite skeptical given I was a Panos regular, that served the same cuisine formerly at the same location. I'm not going to lie, I was intimadated by the menu prior to going. But that quickly went out the window, lol. First off, this place is gorgeous!! Pink and gold everywhere, with gold velvet booths!! Definetly a vibe !! The waitress was very down to earth and was well informed about the menu. She explained Mira had a small plate concept, they encourage to order a course from each section to share. I'm not going to lie, each dish was phenomenal!! No exaggeration!! And we were actually full afterwards. One friends ordered humus, I have never been a fan. However, that warm and fluffy naan with the perfectly blended humus ( i'm a texture girl) paired with the onions, spices, and oil !!! I was surprisingly pleased!! And my friends said don't sleep on that chicken thigh and i agree!! Beautifully grill chicken seasoned to the T, covered in onions and peppers laid tasty yougurt sauce. Honestly i could go on and about each dish we tried because it was just that good. Overall, I'd 100% recommend Mira, it is definetly worth the making the reservation. I would just say be open minded, ask questions as needed and get ready for an amazing culinary experiance. Great service, food comes out quickly and amazing great drink. It can get a little pricey but it is soooooooooooooooooo worth it !! I promise !!!

I was so excited to have brunch here but was unfortunately disappointed…read more The $15 breakfast sandwich (which I've heard amazing things about) was not very good. It was served barely warm, the bacon was mostly burnt, I got little to no cheese in it and the eggs were brownish gray in several parts. The hash browns were $9 for two. Objectively good but they were way too oily and heavy for me (yes, I know hash browns are fried in oil). I also didn't love the setup of brunch. You order at the counter and then pick your own seating. We had several people bringing food and waiting us throughout the meal. I would've preferred one server that we could tip at the end. 3 stars because overall the service was good, the restaurant is beautiful and the $6 croissant was good.
