I arrived around 1:15 PM, and when I was greeted at the host stand, I was told I could sit at the bar. I mentioned that I preferred a table, and the response was that they closed at 2:00 PM. I was honestly about to leave, but I was very hungry and didn't feel like searching for another restaurant, so I decided to stay. Thankfully, once I was seated, the experience completely turned around. I mentioned that I had recently had throat surgery and needed something soft to eat. The woman was kind enough to bring me out some soup to sample. The soup was delicious, and I really appreciated her going out of her way to let me try it, even though I ultimately decided not to order it. I ended up getting the French toast, and it was light, fluffy, and delicious! The prices are also very fair, especially considering the quality and portion. I do wish the beginning of my experience had been a little warmer, because the initial interaction almost had me leaving. However, the service improved, the food was wonderful, and I'm glad I stayed. Overall, a great meal at a fair price, and I will definitely be back!
