Just be aware they pretty much speak zero English, but with a lot of hand signals and reference pictures from my phone we got all the communication out. Just so you know they do not make their own tortillas corn or flour they get them from HEB. I didn't like the flour last time, but I do like the corn because they grease them well and fry them well. The corn fungus tasted earthy and creamy at the same time. It was soft like avocado. I've had his asada in the past and his pastor. He Seasons his meat and vegetables very well and not just with salt. This corn mushroom had excellent flavor. He added lettuce, tomato, avocado and a white like Cotija cheese. It was heavy. He writes every order down in this little notebook. He told me he sold like 14 of them today to the Mexican workers that are working on Tractor Supply. I told him he needs more tables, and I think he understood me; he may get one more and put it behind his trailer. He lives in New Braunfels and told me he loves this area moving here from Austin where his kids still live. To Yelpers in the Cibolo area, come get a taco with three or four Meat choices, or a beautiful torta for $5, or anyone of tons a vegetarian and vegan options.

Husband and wife team were super nice and made us feel like we were in their restaurant not at a road side trailer. Great selection to include vegetarian and prices. Let me tell you they don't skimp on the portions. Only one picnic table to sit at if you plan on eating there. Plenty of parking. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed. We will be back.

Not only did they cook more food but they also delivered!!!! Daddy J has a sweet humble soul and exuded gratefulness for our patronage. I will be a consistent customer and will refer every chance I get. BBQ SPOT FOUND!!!

Hello my fellow foodies…read more I'm about to relax after devouring this deliciousness from Daddy J's BBQ! We ordered the 3 meat special for $14, the sides (Big beans and coleslaw) were extra; making the grand total $19. RIBS (5/5): The ribs were so tender and seasoned to perfection. I've ordered ribs from several local barbecue joints and some were either dry or was too much smoky flavor for me. I'm kicking myself in the rear end for not ordering more. Daddy J's ribs were juicy with just enough of season and smoky flavor. BAKED BEANS (5/5): Beans were tangy and sweet; very flavorful SAUSAGE (5/5): Sausage was hot and fresh but flavor was nothing really to rave about. It tasted like normal kielbasa sausage. BRISKET (4/5): While I'm not a huge brisket fan, I have to admit, it tasted pretty good. I personally feel like brisket should be injected with the same seasoning that's used on the outside. But, I understand most BBQ joints use the traditional way and I'm sure many may enjoy it just as it is. My husband ate more of it than I did and enjoyed it just as much as he did the ribs. COLESLAW (4/5): Coleslaw was cold and fresh. Although, I would have added a little more creamy slaw dressing. Rolls tasted as if they were Hawaiian rolls but that works too To me, it seems as if the ribs are the heavy hitting here! I would definitely visit again, order just ribs and sides.

Three unique creations were offered, each a testament to the culinary skill, but the Mac Daddy Burger stood out to me personally! This burger had everything, plus a creamy, cheesy mac and cheese topping. The exceptional beef quality used for their patties sets Big Smash Burgers apart. Top-notch ingredients result in juicy, flavorful burgers. Big Smash Burgers, thank you for providing our group of doctors, surgeons, and medical providers with a unique twist on an American classic. Your creativity and dedication to quality are a recipe for success! We will be back for more delicious creations. Sorry, we dug in before taking pics of the food, but it smelled too good to wait.
