    Outdoor seating at night

Cool place! We had no idea this Patio bar was even here. They have drink specials & on Monday & Tuesday they offer all day Happy hour. The 2 female bartenders on Sunday 4-3-22 were both fantastic! I wish I knew their names. The Rootbeer Float shots & Sex with a Bartender drinks were ridiculous! Far too good to have only one.... But we did. Jenga & corn hole distracted us. There's live music or a DJ on certain nights. Food trucks are there sometimes but call ahead to find out when. Unfortunately, there wasn't any live entertainment or food available on Sunday but the music playing was good & Harmons BBQ is just a short walk across Main Street. I can't imagine having to worry about seating bc there's plenty of indoor & outdoor seating. The ample seating outside is a variety of covered & uncovered seating. The restrooms were spotless & very nicely decorated. There were even 2 chairs set up in the corner of the ladies room next to a changing table. Very thoughtful. Their 1 year anniversary is coming up this Friday April 15th! They'll have food trucks & live music w no cover charge. I highly recommend checking this place out, We had a great time & I'm sure we will be back with even more of our friends! Btw, this building is handicapped accessible. There are ramps in the front & back of the building.

Two food trucks on property. Bar area is so casual yet trendy. Bar tender Brandon, super nice. I'm from San Antonio, and my wife invited some friends . Here we are, and we are glad we made the drive. You'll love it!

While searching for a short motorcycle route, just outside of San Antonio, I found what appeared to be an interestingly cool and nostalgic destination, the Zuehl Tavern. Located just 15 minutes southeast of Universal City, it looked like my kind of place. My first impression: I arrived around 6 pm. on a Saturday evening and the place looked deserted, I anticipated it might be closed, but to my relief, they were in fact open. The interior, exterior, and overall ambiance was just as I had hoped.. this place was wonderful; the kind of place I could bring my wife and the girls. That was my initial consideration.. I had found a true gem in the countryside. What happened next: The bartender, a heavy-set middle-aged lady asked for my order. She was courteous, but not very warm and welcoming. I tried making conversation but she was either very busy (I was the only patron) or just didn't much care for my type (an outsider in a small town), I considered it the latter and took no offence. I asked for a margarita and she quickly filled my request. A few minutes later, I asked if they had a menu. She then grabbed a very small menu (artfully crafted on a dinner platter) and placed in my view next to the bar. She then returned to the bar and asked for my order. I won't say she was rude about it, but her manner was somewhat less than polite. As the menu was very limited, and with no pricing, I ordered the brisket stuffed baked potato and went outside to look over the perimeter and make myself comfortable. Notwithstanding the semi-cold interactions with the bartender and some other guy (the cook?), who never so much as said hello, I was content with the laid back, peaceful serenity of this establishment. Food and Beverage: Neither was anything to write home about. The margarita was okay, but it was served in a plastic cup and she never even offered to salt the rim. The stuffed potato was good, mostly, but I could do better myself any day. I would rate it better than Bill Millers, and not as good as Chili's. I'm thinking it was baked in advance, then modified to match my order and re-heated.. it was barely warm. Parting ways: I finished my meal and went to the bar to take care of my bill. The bartender gave me the total due and took my credit card. She processed the transaction and asked if I would like the receipt emailed or texted (seems they don't provide on-site receipts). My tab for a stuffed potato and 1 Margarita was just short of $23 before tip. Overall Consideration: It's nice, very nice, if you're into nostalgia and country charm. The staff however, are definitely not from Mayberry.. For what it is, the food and drinks are okay but only just. Will I go back? I don't know.

You got Ray, a passionate and proud father who actively keeps the humidor looking organized. You got Austin, a knowledgeable rep that is down to earth. You got Greg jr, a proud son of his father's cigar shop who makes one heck of an old fashioned! In fact, he was the first person I ever met at the shop, and he is a true ambassador that would make any parent proud. And you got Malik and Jazzy, who help glue together the experience at this place by keeping the team they work with in good spirits. What more do you need to say, it starts with the people, but to top it off, they have an interesting selection of cigars. I have become a real fan of some of the lancero sizes I have gotten to try that most places don't carry. The place has a top notch ventilation system to that keeps it fresh and the indoor and outdoor lounge areas are truly a cool experience because of the amenities and great patrons that frequent it. The outdoor lounge in particular has a lot of seating with two massive TV's playing sports at all times! There is also great music in the evenings that's creates a vibe where people gather and have a great time. Did I mention that on Friday night, their outdoor food truck serves some yummy fish and chips! What can I say, this place is an experience and vibe like no other cigar lounge I have ever been to! Total gem. I almost don't want to write this review because I don't want it to get overcrowded, but they deserve the shine! If I could provide some feedback it would be about the indoor lounge chairs. I do wish the seats in the indoor lounge provided better back support, the seat cushioning is definitely past its prime, but other than that, they are nice and stylish leather couches and chairs!

I understand that local shops charge a premium -- and I'm genuinely happy to support local businesses -- but the difference in this case was extreme and hard to justify. What made this worse is that I reached out to the store directly, politely explaining the situation and asking if anything could be done. I even included my receipt and a link to Xikar's official website for reference. I received no response whatsoever. No acknowledgment. No explanation. No attempt to make it right. I'll post pictures of the pricing for transparency. Buyer beware -- check prices before you pay.
