My previous Optometrist is nearing retirement and I was hoping to find one near my home. So I went online and researched extensively. Eye Care Associates of Hawaii - Waikele fit the bill for me. From my initial contact phone call to the day of my appointment, I was impressed by the efficiency & professionalism of all the team members I interfaced with. The employees was very welcoming and friendly, the wait was not long at all, I went inside tried on several glasses to see what I prefer and once I found the one I liked I let them know and then i sat down to do the paper work to order the glasses. Turn around time was 2 weeks but I got it less then 2 weeks when they texted it was ready for pickup so I'll be picking up this Saturday which is amazing. He gives you your options of contact lenses and does a thorough check up and is gentle to your eyes. The facility is clean and the receptionist was very sweet and made you feel at home. I didn't have to worry about my copay because the assistant took the extra step in billing my insurance. Downfall is parking was a bit of a challenge since all the businesses shares parking and it was hard to find.
