See the 5 stars? Mom couldn't , she really needed her eyes checked. Dr. Takahashi and all the staff were so accommodating as she is hard of hearing and uses a walker. Dr. T definitely has experience with the over 90 crowd. The exam rooms are tiny, but they made it work. Dr. adapted her exam for mom, was very patient and informative. We were able to get an appt within a week and expect her glasses in a couple of weeks. Prices are very reasonable, exams start at $95 I think, but copay was $33 with medicare. Frames also are affordable and they have lens options to choose from with different price points. read more

We've been coming here for about 5 yrs now. Great customer service for eye exams & buying the glasses. Easy to get an eye exam appointment. Prices for frames & lenses are reasonable. They also offer a year's insurance/replacement for $20 per glasses- GET IT! Our teen broke his glasses & by the time we came in to get a replacement, some of the pieces were lost- but it was OK! The replacement process was so easy/no hassle. Beats the other company that we used to go to (1 hour for glasses) & we paid WAY MORE than $20 for "insurance"...they never honored a replacement because we didn't have all the broken pieces. read more

The office was not anything fancy but Dr. was very knowledgeable and did not need to use all the equipments to tell me how my eyes are doing. It took them a year to bill me the co-pay but whatever. Came to Walmart vision center twice in one week, once for my mom & once for my brother. Appointments were extremely easy to make over the phone & they are super friendly. Once you get pass the Walmart entrance, the vision center is to your right. The wait is pretty much non existent once you arrive & you're in & out pretty quick. The vision store part itself has lots of good deals off of frames, so it's worth it to browse a bit. Overall, we had a great experience here & would definitely return. PS: It's difficult to find a vision place that'll except HMSA quest, they do! read more

For all that know may know my love Aimee and myself , you know that we live and breath with a pair of glasses on . I had recently loss a screw as I normally do, but the unfortunate thing this time around was that I loss a screw while I was driving . I have been to many different eye glass stores including a wallmart store that I live by and some stores in the mall, no one could help me, and I was even told That my glasses were on their last leg , and then pushed into buying new frames, i was a little upset, one reason was because I really like these frames and for that reason I chose to buy three pairs , nevertheless that was not the answer I was wanting or needing to hear especially because I was on the road and I still had another 10 hours to go to end my day.I was in the Kunia area and thought that I would give wallmart Kunia a final try , and as luck would have it , this wonderful associate named Lilly not only was able to help me with no hesitation, but she also informed me that they still made my frames and they are in stock, and if not they could be ordered any time no problem, all of that information was new to me and have me hope when all was looking very grim , She took my glasses and disappeared for not even 5 min and came back with my glasses not only fixed but cleaned and ready to go. I was so overwhelmed, I would definitely come back to this vision center and I will be recommending them to all I know . read more

If you have poor vision and you're a fan of deals and discounts like I am, Walmart Vision Center may just be right up your alley. The orders and prescriptions are done quickly, so there's no need to rush over to Lens Crafters - arg, they are so expensive. Plus, there's usually in-store promotions and brand discounts for glasses. I've received several outstanding deals; the best, where I (or my insurance) bought a year supply of contacts and received an offer for a free pair of (basic) glasses. SO, If you're wanting some sort of name brand pair of glasses, you can apply the basic glasses price as a discount towards your name brand glasses purchase. Savings on top of savings!! And prices are pretty reasonable to begin with! I also really like this place bc the associates are friendly and speedy for the most part. Lenses and products arrive within a timely manner, and I'm never kept in the dark. My special lenses have never taken more than 7-10 days to arrive, which is pretty quick to me, and I always receive a call with any updates/issues. It's such a bummer I moved all the way to Kaimuki... If I lived closer, I might actually schedule regular eye appointments like I'm supposed to. Oh well. Their selection of glasses is kind of small and they dont have the wide variety, and esp designer glasses, like other vision shops have but its still pretty decent. The workers here are pretty nice too. They also have some good deals on eyewear and contacts so thats always nice incentives to attract more customers. They also helped me out when my sister's dog chewed up my new glasses after only having it for 1 week or so, so that was really nice of them. Overall pretty good place and since its only right down the road from my house...not bad at all ;). read more

I called Walmart Vision Center, and they contacted my local Walmart, sent my prescription from Dr. Sato, and checked to make sure that the mainland Walmart had my contact lenses in stock. It ironic that I get my eyes tested at my regular eye doctor but get the presciption filled at Walmart. I first found out that Walmart was cheaper when i was in Ceritos California Walmart with some friends and decided to get my contacts I forgot to bring on my trip. They are really cooperative and able to assist me in getting my prescription from my doctor so I could purchase my contacts. The difference in price from my doctor to walmart was almost HALF. You must atleast check Walmart Vision Center and compare the price. read more

Have been going to Walmart Vision Center for several years now and have been pleased with the service. They have been really good about doing adjustments on my glasses anytime I need them. Ordering contacts is no problem once I get my prescription from my eye doctor. The staff is always friendly and professional. I would suggest going in when they are less busy, if possible. It's hard for them when they are so busy with customers to help each one at the level they need to. Other than that, they do the best they can under most circumstances. read more

Walmart vision center is the place to go! I have always come here for my prescription glasses and contacts and they never fail me. Customer service is exceptional and they take the time to explain to me what my options are. They never force me into getting something I do not want. They accept my type of insurance which is UHA. I used to have HMSA and they took that as well. They have an on-going promotion everytime I come in around March or April every year. When you buy contacts, you get the glasses half off. That's a great deal that you cannot find anywhere else on the island. They have a wide selection of glasses to choose from (they also have Michael Kors and Coach) and I always find a pair that I really like and fall in love with . Besides, you will be stuck with your pair for a year so choose wisely. After ordering my glasses, I can always stop by Walmart if I need to buy something. If you're getting hungry, there's also a McDonalds there! It's a one stop shopping experience every single time and that's what I like about it. If you're like me, I don't like driving around to different places so this is a big plus. I highly recommend Walmart vision center for your vision needs. I only came in to get an adjustment on my glasses. I'm glad I came here. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. I was able to have the vision on my glasses remarked so I can send them back to my doctor and they can be fixed. They didn't hesitate to help me even though I wasn't buying anything. As I waited, I noticed that the staff was very helpful to people buying glasses and contacts. I definitely would recommend this location for any of your vision needs! read more
