When I called to ask about coming in, I was asked to wait a couple hours because they were full. I MUCH prefer honesty like that to salons who cram you in and leave you waiting with false hopes of getting work done. HOWEVER I have been exclusively going to Andy who is always extremely gentle and shapes my nails to perfection. He takes his time to ensure they are exactly how I like them and are all even. He asked a few questions about myself and we just had some small talk. Overall the salon is quiet. Tons of color selections for regular polish, gel polish, and dip powders. Now for the service: Kevin was very meticulous. BUT, some of the jail lengths and shapes weren't as equal as other salons have done. Next, the e-file. I don't have sensitive skin and it was getting pretty hot. I nearly asked him to turn it down, but I roughed it out. Then he started using a regular file to shape my nails and he filed so hard, AND HE FILED MY SKIN. I have some brush burns and cuts around my nail beds. There are some other minor things, but it's not enough to tell unless you're staring and looking for imperfections. Overall, my nails look good, but the method was a bit questionable. I don't know of any other good salons in the area. Prices are typical, but I'm still deciding if I want to come back or not.
