Mamy and Irish flag gluten free pizzas!
Leesa P.

Best gluten free pizza I have ever had! The Mamy was spectacular. We also got the Irish flag and it was wonderful. I have been gluten free for 9 years and this is the closest I have come to a pizza tasting like a prior food life gluten filled pizza. Great restaurant, friendly service too! Highly recommend!

After spotting the sign for award-winning pizza in the window, I popped in last Sunday with my partner. The hostess was delightful, and sat us even though we didn't have a reservation, on the promise that they gave the table back before seven. We were hungry and weren't getting starters anyway, so this was a deal we could manage. Our server was not quite as friendly as her co-worker, however. We ordered two veggie pizzas and the roasted potatoes; I'm a fierce woman for the spuds, you see. So after much negotiation with my partner, we decided to split the pizzas; his was loaded with veg, feta and pesto and was a bit strong, while mine, the margarita, was a little plain. This, teamed with our delicious shpuds, was the perfect goldilocks food combo. The carafe of wine we got was lovely, but overpriced at 20 euros for a 500ml carafe, but the food was reasonable enough. When we did return the table at 7pm, there was only two other tables occupied in the whole restaurant. I've no major beef with the place, and would probably go back at a push... but only after a long while as I don't eat ham, so choices are limited.

This place is the bomb. Best deal in Dublin full stop. 10€ for pizza (GOOD pizza) and a soft drink at lunch on the weekends. It's worth spending more for dinner too though: their gnocchi starter is fab as is their mushroom tortellini with ragú sauce. If you're in the area on the weekend this is the best lunch you'll get!

This is a little gem of a restaurant. It's basically Italian but the food is really good and reasonably priced considering you get the full restaurant experience. It's owned by the same people as Kafka down the road and they really went for a comfortable space to eat it with good food. The venue itself is lovely with a sort of traditional restaurant lighting to give a bit of intimacy but with a modern twist. Staff are really friendly and happy to tell you about the food, wine and the restaurant itself... and you might find yourself chatting with one of the owners too.

Manifesto is great place for a delicious Pizza, I had several dinners there and I can say that I was always very satisfied by the menu, They have an amazing Gluten free Tiramisu that I recommend to everyone. The place is cozy and make sure to book a table at it is easily crowed during the evening.

Semifreddo...Delicious, and the presentation was so beautiful!

Manifesto is definitely worth a visit! It's good Italian food, presented beautifully in a really nice setting. We were there on a Saturday and it was packed to the gills so if you don't want to be disappointed, make a reservation! They have a decent menu, with the pizzas looking like the most popular option for most, and it's no wonder, they are so tasty you just keep eating until you can't fit any more in (apart from dessert, of course). I had the Pollo Manifesto which was really tasty but a bit on the small side, an opinion that was shared around the table for the majority of dishes apart from the pizzas, so we were glad we had ordered some sides for the table to share. Desserts were definitely the highlight though. There was a satisfied "mmmmmm" around the table as everybody tucked into their desserts and the general consensus was that nobody wanted to share. I managed to steal a taste of the tiramisu, semifreddo (mine) and brownie, along with one of the dessert wines- all delicious and the main reason why I'm planning a return trip very soon!

Never had pasta quite like the pasta frutti di mare. Freshly rolled it was green, thick and with a sauce that was light yet flavoursome and ample serving of moist shellfish and calamares. Could not fault the service, atmosphere or decor. The Mamy pizza was also a treat. Not my first time dining in the gem of Rathmines, nor will it be the last.

I heard so much time about their pizza, that was so good. So I needed to try. With my boyfriend we went for lunch (one pizza and one drink for 10€) and we shared the Mammy and the other one which received a reward. The mammy was the best one! The only bad thing, the place was darker for lunch, I think the place should be better for dinner.

The best gluten free pizza crust I've ever had. It even bubbled on the edges, which is hard to come by. The service was great, the food was delicious. If I'm ever back in Ireland, I will come here. Also, the waitress knew I was celiac and even stopped me from grabbing a pen the chef making pizzas had touched - so kind!

It would have been more stars, but I hate stupid rules. My wife and I wanted to share an appetizer and a pizza. We were told we couldn't share. REALLY? So we ordered two pizzas. Couldn't finish them and didn't get to try one of their interesting starters. I think someone missed the "customer is always right rule." And being upset, we didn't stick around for dessert and coffee.

We ordered two glasses of Barbera wine as our cocktail, followed by calamari, pappardelle al funghi and ravioli Asiago. The wine was perfect and complimented our meal. Our server Massimo brought out some bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar to start our meal. The calamari was amongst the best I've ever had, the breading was light and crispy. Both our pasta dishes were divine and authentic. At the end of our meal we had some espresso and were given complementary limoncello shots. Il Vicoletto was amongst the best restaurants we visited during our trip to Dublin. I highly recommend for anyone looking to eat great Italian food.

This place shocked me!…read more I found San Lorenzo's via Yelp, so thank you Yelpers! It is one of the few places in Dublin that takes American Express cards. So you can leave home without it when you come here When we asked if they had a table they said only if you are up from the table in an hour. We were hungry so we agreed The environment is dark and tasteful and lively The wine list is not good, but the food and the staff make up for everything The avocado and caprese salad was awesome The shrimp in wine sauce was off the charts delicious The chicken breast wrapped in prosciutto was delicious and the polenta and creamed corn were spectacular The monk fish wrapped in crispy pancetta on a bed of pesto basil was amazing To top it off we had the Nutella cheesecake with Carmel sauce and gelato with biscotti crumbs on top- this was surreal!!! All this and we were done with all the food, a bottle of wine and cappuccinos in an hour and never felt rushed If you are in the mood for Italian food, come to San Lorenzo's

After finishing the starter, it took a bit too long for the main dish to come out. Once it did come out, we were kind of full from the first dish. The wife for the Zucchini Primvera. The pasta seemed liked it could have been cooked a bit more. It probably needed another minute or so before it was Al Dente. Overall, the food was good and I would come back for sure.

The only thing worth having was the sample platter of the arancini balls. Even those were hard to distinguish which ones were which. Why I'll go back: wide variety of sauces lets you satisfy any craving…read moreYou HAVE to order: the arancini (how's that for a curveball) Tony's Tip: Given the generous portion size and wide variety of sauces, if you can do a group of 4-6 you'll be able to sample a lot more of the menu. Things I liked about Sprezzatura: - whatever you're in the mood for (marinara, carbonara, bolognese...), it's probably on the menu that night - the sauces are rich/heavy. I like, but maybe not everyone will. - generous portions - super friendly service Things I wasn't crazy about: - the finish on the table left a stickiness that was annoying as we sat through our meal - the kitchen door kept slamming shut (loudly) with every staff pass-through and needs some sort of better hinge or soft close mechanism - each pasta dish was a bit overrun with sauce. I might have soaked it up with some bread, but the amount was unnecessary for the pasta alone. We ordered three pastas dishes. I actually liked the one I didn't order the most - an amatriciana-like red sauce with a little spice. My wife enjoyed the Fettucini, Nduja and Mascarpone. The Mafaldine Cashel Blue (cheese) and Roasted Walnuts, which also had caramelized onions in it, was actually not as sweet as I expected (or wanted) it to be. What we did agree on, though, was how delicious the arancini was (we went with spicy sausage). I would lead with that...but don't get carried away. The wine choices were limited, but solid. And the price was very reasonable. I'd go back again (if I actually lived in Ireland!), mostly when I have a fix for a certain flavor. There was a lot of delivery business taking place during our visit. I suspect these sauces don't travel well (no firsthand experience with that), so dine in seems like the better call to me.
