Manifest is so much more than an incredible place to buy or sell clothing et al. It is a love fest of positivity every time I walk through the door! read more

Visited Manifest in Carmel Valley for the first time. It's an adorable boutique neatly packed with consigned clothes, purses, shoes, jewelry, and other accessories. I was mostly interested in the purses, as usual, and spent most of the time I was there checking them out. They have two large bookcases stuffed with bags, plus there are more spread around the store. Some of the designers are Prada, Coach, Kate Spade, Michael Kors, Vera Bradley, Marc Jacobs, and more. I was helped by the most wonderful sales associate named Wendy. She was so friendly and kind that she made it a joy to shop there. I ended up buying a pink boho scarf that was on sale for 50% off. Looking forward to returning to Manifest with my mom and sisters, who I think will like it as much as I did. read more

I had an extremely unpleasant experience at Manifest and will not be returning. The pricing system is deceptive and predatory. The price tags have three different prices listed on them, and the system is not clearly explained. The owner mentioned it very briefly, and from what I gathered, the bottom price (the cheapest number) was the final price. Based on that understanding, I selected my items. When I went to check out, the total she gave me seemed unusually high. After reviewing the receipt, I noticed several items didn't align with the prices I believed were indicated on the tags, which she cut off. I went back to the counter simply asking for clarification. Instead of calmly explaining, the owner became very hostile. She told me she "didn't have time for this" and said my questions were going to "mess everything up." She then pulled me outside of the store and spoke to me as if I were a delinquent or a child being scolded, which was completely inappropriate and humiliating. She even said, "It may be harder for you to understand," which was insulting and condescending. She went on to say that giving me a refund would be a, "shit show and mess up the whole inventory system" and that her clients would be pissed placing blame on me for a misunderstanding caused by her misleading and poorly communicated pricing system. The last thing anyone wants when they walk into a store is a lecture on how pricing works. You're there to shop and enjoy yourself not to be pulled aside, talked down to, or pestered by the shop owner because their pricing system isn't clear. Although she ultimately gave me a refund, it only happened after she made me feel small and criminal for asking a reasonable question. I have never experienced customer service like this at any other thrift store let alone any other business. Customers should not be made to feel intimidated or embarrassed for questioning confusing pricing. Proceed with caution if you shop here. read more

Lisa and her team recently helped us with the grim task of emptying our childhood home after mom's passing. I could not have been more pleased. She handled the task with the utmost respect, consideration, sensitivity, and skill. Lisa and her team coordinated a very smoothly run estate sale and earned more from the sale than we expected (and they went above and beyond in the process). But that wasn't all...she also coordinated with a local agency to visit the house and donate unsold items so we didn't have to pay someone to haul them off. Manifest made a difficult process much easier, and we will always be thankful for their stellar service. read more

Amazing selection of designer shoes, purses, jackets, all of it. If not designer, for sure your favorite brands. All sizes. All colors.

Beautiful jewelry, clothes, shoes and accessories for fantastic prices. I will be back!

If you haven't been, you are really missing out!! This store has so much to offer for an update to your wardrobe! I have so enjoyed shopping here, the staff is super helpful and I've walked out with a super new outfit or two (or three) each time I've shopped. I also went through my closet and found items I just don't wear which were too nice to give away (some with tags still on)...I set up an appointment with Manifest to consign them. Just bring your clean, nice items on hangers and the staff will accept those things they think they can sell. You get a credit at the store for any items sold. Manifest also has a point system. When you purchase clothes, you get points...enough points gives you a bigger discount on your next shopping trip. This is a really cool place to shop. Check it out! I highly recommend it. They make it difficult to consign here. Very lengthy (and maybe slightly condescending?) conversation with Lisa about the process that must be started online and then if you are "lucky" enough to get a coveted spot for an appointment ( I was told to check online EVERY morning as spots go fast - what?) you fill out a lengthy questionnaire at the shop before they consider your clothes. I have some lovely Johnny Was, Ralph Lauren, Free People etc. I think I will just donate to SPCA thrift shop and take a tax deduction - good for the animals and my taxes as well - win-win!! read more

Great stuff and service! Much New York high-end at incredible prices! I would highly recommend this to anyone

Awesome 2nd hand clothes; beautiful selection and the prices can't be beat. I have gotten a couple of lovely dresses and fantastic shoes there. Highly recommended for the cost conscious and for those who would prefer to support a sustainable small business model than large retail fast fashion. read more

Went with my friends and had the BEST time! Katherine was so sweet and helpful. We all had a blast trying things on, and most of us bought at least 2-3 great pieces. read more

What a wonderful spot! The owners are so fun and friendly and know their fashion. I have had a great experience both as a consigner and shopper. I find a gem every time I stop by, which have become favorites, and there is something for everyone. Manifest is filled with premium brands in all sizes, and there are many unique pieces. With limited shopping in the area, this has become my go-to when looking for something for a special occasion and just a fun shopping outing. I have brought my mom and a few friends in to join the experience. read more

Poor communication. I CALLED to inquire about an item I had see in this store There was no call back for over a week. I then received a text, I requested to speak to someone & again there was no call back, I wanted to buy a couple of high priced items, but I will not patronize a place with such bad customer servic. Als, they DO NOT accept cash. I like to shop with my MAD MONEY. Manifest will not be received any of it. read more
