I thoroughly enjoyed shopping at Ms. Fabulous (and they have an online presence) for a different take on some of these staples (horizontal striped sweater) as well as a few things that are totally different. The prices are super competitive; I didn't feel like anything really soared over $70-100 as a single piece. The clothes feel better made than anything at Forever 21 or Charlotte Russe. And, the shopowner is LOVELY to talk to and was able to recommend other shops in Carmel's downtown that might pique my interest. She said that if people express favorite brands or styles, she tries to reach back out when she gets new items in stock. Amazing. I bought a few items from here, and I will probably try to go back any time I'm in Carmel.

They had a limited amount of clothing options to choose from, they all seem seasonal but one jacket caught my eye. Their "Members Hoodie" and I ended up going with this zip up hoodie. Although it's a bit expensive it is a pretty hyped up brand for street wear and golfers. I'm also a big believer that golf translates close to pickleball (which I play) so the style matches well. The store is really small but they have another section of the store in the back courtyard with even more Malbon gear. Although limited you might find something you like. The employee was also super friendly and checked up on us a lot so I was super happy about that.

I was even able to find and purchase a book that had been on my to-read list. The books were reasonably priced but some of the garden stuff was pricey. The Secret Garden was especially relaxing and beautiful. I really enjoyed walking through it, taking my time, and simply taking it all in. Definitely a lovely little spot to visit while in Carmel!

They also have many…read moreother furnitures and art pieces from other artists around the country or other part of the world. Every time we visit, we rarely get away from not buying something there. From a beautiful round rustic teak dining table to unique mid century leather chairs, they just fit, look, and feel perfectly in our home. Some of these pieces were huge but they have a great/reasonable shipping service that drives and delivers weekly in Southern Cali. The staff is always friendly and helpful. My wife and I just love Palomas Home Furnishings.
