HONEST, FAIR AND EXCELLENT WORK…read more I'm very difficult to please when it comes to servicing and/or repairing my Volvo C70. Plus, having worked at a few local car dealers, I'm fully aware of how the car owner can spend a little more on repairs and service then they should and not receive the highest quality in return. Therefore, finding a garage that I'm happy with is difficult because I'm particular about all aspects; from quality to pricing. Max Mile in Hallam, PA is simply the best and most honest mechanic that I have had the pleasure of working with in the last 15 years. They stand behind the work, provide the customer with a courtesy car if available, And, MOST IMPORTANTLY, they know what they're doing, meaning your car is serviced and/or fixed correctly and at a fair price. I sincerely don't have anything that I would change about my experience with this company. They've consistently done exceptional work for me. *We all know that price is important but not as important as having your car handled by a mechanic who knows what they're doing. As a nice plus on my last visit - They were $300 lower for new tires, full synthetic oil change, tire rod replacement and rotor repair than 2 other reputable local garages. Definitely call Barry if your car or truck needs attention.

As soon as I pulled into the parking lot, I was draining coolant at a rapid rate. It was about 10 till 5 PM. Den's service center came up as the closest to me. The tow truck driver was courteous, took special care in loading my car, and provided me with great conversation on the 30 minute ride home. The towing charge was fair and what I expected for the distance. I would highly recommend them for towing services.

Over the years, as my own vehicles (Suby's) went out of warranty coverage, I have definitely felt confident moving to Jim's Auto. The pricing is great, and the detail of what they show and tell about things found helps me better understand what to consider and be aware of for future needs, as well as just learning more about my own vehicle (an auto repair person... I am not). Alex and his crew are friendly, flexible with schedule, and careful to not work on and charge for something that is not needed. I found this out with my wife's Jeep (catalytic work that the dealer simply wanted to do a full replacement, that was not needed). All in all, this is a great shop where you get treated with personal care and trusted work handled on your vehicle. Bonus- this is the kind of shop that reminds me of where my dad took his cars when I was young. Everyone was friendly, knew each other, and it felt very hometown-like. I like that part, too.

I brought my older mustang there for inspection a few months back expecting ridiculous repairs, though I know it didn't need anything as I do most of my own work. They were super honest and didn't try to fix things that were not in need of repair and gave it a clean bill of health. I brought in our Jeep for its annual inspection with the same results. That means a lot to know they won't try to rack up a crazy bill and will do an honest job. Will continue to use them for anything I may need. Super nice people there.
