Inside was really cute and chic, fun flare with small rooms in a cozy environment. Definitely recommend- outside seating was also available.

They gave us the choice of the bar or the lounge sofa and table we chose the sofa. We were super hungry and delighted they had seafood. The salmon and shrimp were cooked well, the sauce tasty and the potatoes delicious. The bread service was outstanding with an olive tapenade, olive oil, goat cheese, and herbed butter. My sister said the spinach dip was good but was really unhappy with the dressing served with the caesar. That said the tiger shrimp she enjoyed. The service was professional and they were pretty busy (small town, weekend, dinner time). I would come back when in the area again.

A month ago I got the ham and cheese croissant and it tasted like something from a gas station. But I wanted to give them one more change. And the stuffed French toast sounded yummy. I was wrong. The menu claims "Thick‑cut Texas toast filled with sweet cream cheese, and topped with seasonal berries dipped in cinnamon‑vanilla batter, and grilled untill golden". The only thing that had flavor was the berries. The two slices of bread was like what you got at the grocery store (not thick and definitely not Texas toast) the cream cheese was bland and was put between them like if it was a PJ and J sandwich, and the toast was just bland no vanilla or cinnamon flavor. The only flavor came from the syrup and berries. Also it was soggy, I started to eat it like less then 3 minutes after getting it and even waited for it to be done made (so it wasn't sitting there for a while getting soggy waiting for me to pick it up). Definitely not worth the $13.

Service was sparse. I sat at the bar. Sat there 6-8 minutes before the blonde person at the bar said hi. I had to wait another couple of minutes since she was talking to a guy behind the bar and a couple other people sitting at the bar. It sounded like friends, not customers. Eventually, another bartender came on named Bailey. She was service oriented and took my order. She knew I was ready and I think she understood. I was waiting a good 15 minutes before she got on the clock. It's funny how things work out. Bailey took my order of two hotdog, mustard and onions, and almost immediately the blonde bartender, I think her name is Taryn put dirty plates right in front of me. The dirty plates sat there a few minutes and when Bailey brought the dogs out she took away the plates for my request and apologized. When I asked Bailey for the bill, I was surprised to find a charges of $.50 for mustard and $1.00 for onions. I truly love a good hot dog and these were pretty good. I wish they were grilled, but I came to found out this establishment steams their dogs and they are a grill less & greaseless. Very green and I respect that. But a dog deserves a grill. I give Bailey five stars for service. The other person named Tyron, one star.

You walk into the Maverick hotel and go the 4th floor to get there. 3 out of the 4 of us in our group ordered the Shakshuka, which was flavorful and delicious to soak the sourdough into. I recommend over easy or over medium for your eggs on this. Served with feta and sliced avocado on top. We also got the avocado toast with smoked salmon and were pleasantly surprised to see that it came with entire filet of salmon for only an extra $6. We were expecting a few slices of salmon, but this was great! The fresh toast was ordered for the table. I found it to be a 7/10. Loved the peach inside, but was underwhelmed overall. If you're a group of 4 maybe consider getting the fresh press coffee, which our server recommended we do. Perfect serving size for us, but if your group drinks a lot of coffee just get the drip. Chalee was our server, and she was wonderful and kind. AC was BLASTING, if you run cold bring a sweater.
