Brezzie ( sp ) was our waitress; she was totally spot on with everything. The setting was again awesome with a nice day over looking the river, the Louisville skyline and the bridges. Walking bridge was busy. Drinks were ordered and food orders placed. I had aside salad that was fresh, crisp, nicely crafted and tasty. Along with that I had the dry rubbed wings. So good and nice portion. My wife had the Reuben which was new for her (use). It was very, very good and well put together. I'm not a big Reuben person but I tasted it and it was very good! And when Breezie was busy another waitress perfectly slipped in to keep us well served. Their training is spot on. In my opinion this location probably has some of the best trained staff in the Clark County area. Not that others a bad this place just feels like a step up. Good food, service and view keeps us coming back!!!!

Some nights have live music but we like to go to watch games since there are TVs all over. Lexee, our server, was fantastic. We will ask for her when we go to Harry's from now on. The menu rotates, but it's always a huge portion and so good. The dry rub Cajun wings are a must. The wraps are big and filling. I'm hoping they bring back the chicken salad sandwich h

Inside there is a bar area which is nice. There is a pretty awesome looking rustic cabinet that is filled with board games, such as codenames, Uno, etc. and table dexterity games such as Jenga, ring and hook, etc. there is a back area with a Foosball table and some arcade machines (these are the 1 up arcades and have been well loved and some have issues). Outside has lots of yard games with dedicated play areas like Bocce Ball, trans can beer pong, ping pong and more. Super awesome! The food is very good! I got the fish and chips and loved the breading and also the dipping sauce. The seasoned fries were very good as well and there is a lot of food. The burgers and chicken our kids got was very good and I wasn't sure if I was jealous or not lol. We will be back for sure!

Barkeep was welcoming and helpful. Order process was extremely fast and was handed off to me before I'd even finished my short pour beer. Bar seating was comfortable and had views of the outside areas. Noise level was mild during this Saturday afternoon visit. Chopped brisket sandwich was tender and smoky on a soft bun and topped with crispy tobacco onions. The side of potato salad was one of the lightest, fluffest versions I've ever experienced, and I'd return for this again and again. The OG Burger went over well and was fully dressed and appeared to closely mimic a smash-burger. The side of sweet potato fries that I sampled were nice and crisp and also seasoned well. The appetizer Van Damme with Brussels sprouts was okay, but a tad overcooked for my personal preference. The enhancements with cotija cheese and hot honey sauce were great. Plan to return soon to try more menu items. Play-yard also looks like a lot of fun, so would love to bring family or friends for a good time.

As far as the restaurant, this is a really great place to go in downtown Jeffersonville. I do not…read moreknow the story of the building, but it is a tall brick building, kind of rustic. It definitely has an old-world vibe as far as the interior. Chef Mike has won numerous awards and his team has been extremely consistent. If there are a few things I would suggest, it's that some of the things that Chef Mike shows on his sites or does, he brings to the restaurant. It seems the menu really hasn't changed much. We tend to go to Just Brunch now, on Sundays, maybe twice a month. I enjoy all the food there. I would say the only problems are, honestly, the customers. One old dude picking food off a plate that a server was trying to refill the bar was disgusting. Then another moron licking his fingers and touching the tongs so you could not use them after him. It's really just people not knowing how to act in public. But the restaurant does address it to make sure people are not contaminating the food.

Food is tasty, made out of a mixture of southern hospitality and outstanding mixtures of flavors that all come together to bring you a classic small, yet dive-bar feel with the charm of a 1980's diner. Every time I go to the yeti I try to sit by the windows to catch a glance of the beautiful sunset and epic views of Indiana that could come through with a few vintage cars. Hence, needless to mention that the customer service is top notch here and is a good alone reason to come back for more. (Not to mention the eccentric decor and wall color adds personality to the place) Always, happy to go to the yeti then head for an ice cream to pearl's by the bridge.

The service was friendly and efficient, with everything being ready upon my arrival (though I do wish they'd put some sauces inside the bag by default, even some ketchup or tartar sauce, anything really). This time we were acknowledged promptly and led to our table right away. Our server was top notch. Drinks were quickly brought to the table. A darn good Bloody Mary hit the spot. My wife and I shared a garden salad and some onion rings. The rings were almost too big! The salad wasn't anything special, but the ingredients were fresh. For dinner my wife ordered a Cajun shrimp bowl. The serving was huge! My dinner was a combination of grilled cod and fried clams. Again, an ample serving. My fish was done perfectly. The baked potato was piping hot. And don't get me started on their hush puppies. Kingfish served up an excellent dinner. Half of which came home with us to live another day.

Unfortunately my recent experience there was less rock solid and more on the rocks. The venue itself looks like a place you would encounter while on vacation, so you're immediately in a Jimmy Buffet state of mind when you walk in. Grab a table under the covered patio and wait for your server to come. And wait. The place was seriously understaffed when we visited and the server was pretty frazzled -- not her fault, but it was tough when we just wanted simple things like waters and had trouble even grabbing her to ask for them. A friend wanted to order oysters and she said they didn't have them that day, then backtracked and said she thought she heard someone say they didn't have them that day. In the end it was unclear whether oysters were available that day or not, so he just ordered peel and eat shrimp. My friend shared his shrimp with me and I soon realized why -- he didn't want them because they weren't good. Bland, mushy, and hard to peel, I love seafood but also passed on the shared shrimp. I got a burger, and all things considered it came out pretty quickly, just sans fries on the side (that took another 20 minutes). The burger itself looked better than it tasted -- it was dry and pretty bland. Fries were food once they came. The location has a lot of potential, and -- with a few tweaks -- I think it would be an awesome place to hang out with friends on a nice night. Until then, I'll probably rock out somewhere other than On the Rocks.

Really lucked out that I was able to snag one of the few curbside spots out front, but this was a 7 PM weeknight. There are pay parking lots nearby. Decided on the Smokehouse Sampler $36 to make everyone happy. This is easily enough food for several meals unless you're starving and/or a committed carnivore. The sampler included 4 ribs, pulled pork, tender sliced brisket, a quarter of dark roasted chicken, and andouille sausage links. This menu item does not include any specific choice of sides, but does have 2 sauce dips, fried onion, pickles, onions, and bread tucked into the order. Chose 2 separate orders for sides $6 each of succotash (smoky goodness with bits of roasted corn, Lima beans, tomato, green beans, onion) and fried okra (spicy crunchy coating and some whole okra in the mix), which thrilled my veggie-leaning appetite. Based on quality and quantity of food, would deem this a great value and as expected comparatively to other venues. Employees were welcoming and friendly with the ordering and pickup process. Restaurant seemed well staffed and bustling with more of a downtown touristy clientele, but worth a local visit if timed correctly. Would return in the future.
