He went around and took beverage orders from everyone and then brought the drinks to the tables. It really didn't take him long to finish up those steps. I know when he came back to get our food orders, it took me a long time to make up my mind! There were so many choices. I finally decided to get the Burrito Al Carbon with Grilled Chicken. I decided to not have rice, so I ordered black beans and refried beans. My husband ordered the Burrito Al Carbon with Steak, and he had rice and refried beans. Enrique did a really good job getting everyone's orders. It didn't really take very long for the food to start arriving. I went around the table and took some pictures. I don't think I could tell you what every one of the dishes were, but I'll do my best in the pictures to tell you what they were. We all really had a great time. The restaurant was very clean and Enrique was really very helpful. We had a new couple to Swan Pointe that came tonight. Phil and Gail, we were glad to meet you. I highly recommend dining at Tacos D Amor, the food is amazing! Robyn

The massive mural inside of an iguana named Izzy Ali, standing in a ring, dressed for boxing says that they might know this as well. So, let's get it on! Inside, the layout is straightforward with plenty of seating in an open room. Low, configurable tables with 4 chairs, pub style seating with 6 seats, and a few booths. You have options. Bold, vibrant colors adorn the walls and ceiling. The words will implore you to explore the heat that they offer and in the middle of the room is the hot sauce station. There are 12 sauces in pumps, broken up into 4 sets of 3 ranging from mild to fire. I tried a few and didn't find any of the heat intolerable with a couple being genuinely enjoyable! Pricing on the menu is about what you'll see elsewhere. The level of service is a little elevated in that you're not going down a line choosing ingredients. Rather, you place your order and they bring it out to your seat after yelling out your name. Additionally, the drinks are not self-serve which makes refills less desirable since you may need to flag someone down or, if it is busy, wait in line. I didn't have that problem since it was a quiet Tuesday lunch and service was always available. I got the street tacos. The blackened chicken is the way to go. Three tacos came out with fresh chips to the side, seasoned well. There's no salsa, though, so keep that in mind. Overall, I enjoyed it!

Luckily I was given a little vibrating notifier so I could know when my food was done. The arepa itself was gorgeous... Food truck located on national turnpike across from the speedway and in front of the car wash. The…read morehours here are hard to determine. I've seen them open early hours and late hours in different days of the week while driving in that area. My first two times I stopped in (one on a Monday around 3pm and once on a Friday around 6pm) the truck was there but nobody was manning it. The 3rd time I went I was able to finally get service and try this place out. This is a cash only food truck. So I'll put that out there early for the curious. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and my wife ordered a steak burrito. Neither of us ordered a beverage but they do sale cans of soda and bottles of Jarrittos. The food portions were very large and adequately priced at around $9-$11 a plate. Both my quesadilla and my wife's burrito had plenty of flavor and copious amount of cheese. I will pre warn those who may like spicy sauces or may only like stuff with a little kick. There salsa for the quesadilla was very spicy and hot. My wife had verde sauce and said it was even spicier then the salsa. So don't do what we did and go without a beverage. Get yourself a drink! Or if you don't like spicy or hot at all then stay away from the sauces. My only major complaint outside of the inconsistency on availability was we ordered these plates and we weren't given any utensils and they had none sitting out. The wife and I was dining on the small picnic table in front of the food truck. I did finally get the workers attention again and was able to get a plastic fork. However he said they had no knives. Which kinda shocked me and made eating our meals extremely difficult and extremely messy. Now to be fair there was a language barrier. So maybe he didn't understand what I was asking for. But I tried repeating myself several times and he clearly responded we do not provide that. All in all it was a solid experience. Food was pretty tasty. It could use some work with being more consistent and offering proper eating utensils. Also may want to look at a cost effective app or device like square to take credit cards. There is no excuse in this day and age not to accept cards as a form of payment. If I'm in the area and have cash and they are actually open I'll probably give them another visit to sample other items.

Throughout the inside of the restaurant the mantel is adorned with all sorts of beautiful things. The staff here are friendly, but the few times we have ordered here they actually speak "Spanish." And when we ordered this item, it was too hot at times. The taste was great but cooked hot. Now for us that want an option for vegetarian they off that choice as well. The vegan version is also available. These variations are well planned out and actually part of the menu. Now the spooky season is available each time that you visit here. It seems if you're in a different area when you dine in here . The best places are often off the beaten path. We happened to stumbled onto this one during Taco Tuesday. Make sure and have dessert.
