The Chicago style pizza is legit. By far the best pizza I've had in town. Takes longer to make but it's worth the wait.

Compared to south Florida's cost of living, the pricing is surprisingly inexpensive for the quality and service. We brought our standard poodle with us, since we were on vacation. We enjoyed their outdoor seating, which was spacious and relaxing. We were welcomed and really made to feel at home. For my south Florida friends, if you are passing through north Georgia, Cotto's should definitely be on your itinerary.

I'm genuinely sad to be writing this because Cotto used to be one of my favorite places. I went…read morealmost weekly, recommended it constantly to friends, and have even left great reviews in the past. Unfortunately, since the menu changed, it just hasn't been the same. The food used to have so much depth and flavor. There was a salad I absolutely loved, and the pizzas used to have a great crust with really thoughtful, robust flavor combinations. Now, the salads taste like something I could easily make at home, and the last few pizzas I've ordered have been floppy, with the toppings practically falling off and none of the flavors really coming together. Last night was especially disappointing. I actually suggested Cotto for my friend's birthday because I remembered it as a place with a great atmosphere, hospitality, drinks, and even better food. We made a reservation for eight people, and her husband let the staff know we were celebrating her birthday. Her pasta came out and she thought it was fine, although nothing particularly memorable. She offered me a bite, and somehow the bite she gave me contained a bread twist tie. I literally had metal, paper, and ink in my mouth. Finding something like that mixed into a pasta dish was incredibly concerning. They did comp her meal and offered desserts, which we appreciated. Since we were out celebrating and drinking rather than looking for dessert, we asked whether they could do birthday shots or something similar instead. They declined, which is their prerogative, but then nothing else was offered and the birthday itself was never acknowledged. Between the reservation being for a birthday, the foreign object in her food, and the overall experience, it felt like multiple opportunities to make things right were missed. I really wanted to continue loving this place, especially because I remember how good it used to be. But after several disappointing experiences recently, I don't think I can keep recommending it the way I once did. If I'm going to pay these prices for a night out, I expect the quality and attention to detail that Cotto used to have. I truly hope they find their way back to what made this place so special, because I miss the Cotto I used to look forward to visiting every week.

The food was delicious. Our table had salads, chicken piccata, ziti, ravioli pizza and a specialty chicken dish. The portions were large and most of us took some left overs home. The salads were dinner size and fresh. Everything seemed fresh and tasted so good. The locals in our party actually commented that they wanted to come back. There were many things on the menu that sounded good that I would definitely go back again.

We also had two small caesar salads, both fresh and enjoyable. My husband ordered penne with vodka sauce, which traditionally includes cream and has that classic pink color. What he was served was penne with marinara. I mentioned to the waitress that it didn't look like vodka sauce, and she checked with the cook. He insisted it was vodka sauce, even though it clearly wasn't. We were polite and ate it -- the marinara itself was delicious -- but it simply wasn't vodka sauce, and that put a damper on the dish. One recommendation: if their version of "vodka sauce" doesn't include cream and is actually marinara, the menu should clarify that. It's odd to call marinara "vodka sauce," and it would help if the staff and cooks were familiar with the difference. Vodka sauce is one of my favorites, so it was disappointing to order it and not receive the real thing. Aside from the sauce issue, everything else was positive: fast service, a pleasant waitress, and good food overall. We'll try the Buford location next and would return again.

My girlfriend loves Olive Garden so we have eaten at them all across the country and the one small negative thing that I noticed at this location was that the portions seem smaller. It was still enough food and the food was exactly what I expect from O.G., but I would've liked another couple of mouthfuls of the eggplant parm. All in all, a good experience.

Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing because of the service we received from our waitress, Emma V. Not even a minute after we sat down, she asked if I knew what I wanted to order. I actually did have an idea, but I wanted a moment to look over the different options before ordering. Once we placed our order, the entire experience felt very rushed and, at times, uncomfortable. Although it was a late Saturday night, there were still many open tables, so it didn't seem like there was a need to rush us out. However, our waitress repeatedly asked if we were ready for our check, even after she had just brought us another serving of our meal. She did a great job refilling my soup whenever I asked, but the constant check-ins about the check made it difficult to relax and enjoy our meal. We were in and out in under an hour, and it honestly felt like our conversations were being cut short because we kept being asked if we were ready to leave. I also ordered a few items to go, and they were brought to the table without a bag, which was another small but disappointing detail. The food itself was delicious, and we especially enjoyed the spicy Alfredo sauce. Unfortunately, the service really took away from what could have been a great first experience with the all-you-can-eat option. I understand that it was a late Saturday night, but I would have appreciated being given a little more time to enjoy our meal without feeling rushed. If we return and are seated in Emma's section, I would likely request another server or consider visiting a different location. Overall, the food was good, but the service left us feeling uncomfortable and unfortunately overshadowed the experience.

We started off with the meatball appetizer, which was wonderfully seasoned and delicious right out of the gate. For our mains, I ordered the meat lasagna it definitely did not disappoint, using that same fantastic, flavorful meat as the appetizer. My wife had the lobster ravioli, which had a lovely depth to it; it started out mild and finished with a distinct, delicious lobster flavor. My youngest daughter had the stuffed shells, and my oldest thoroughly enjoyed the chicken Parm special. The highlight of the meal was the dessert sampler. It sparked a lively debate across the table on which was the best. The consensus put the tiramisu in first place, closely followed by the sea salt caramel gelato, though the cannoli was also delicious. Getting the combo was the perfect choice because it allowed us to try a little bit of everything. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend The Pasta Market to anyone in the Blue Ridge area!

We had a reservation for dinner on 12/20 at 6:30 pm. Knowing it was the holiday season and that Dahlonega is a popular destination, we intentionally made a reservation so our family could enjoy a relaxed dinner together during our visit. Unfortunately, the experience fell short in several ways. Cons: Despite having a reservation, we waited an excessive amount of time to be seated. Once seated, our table was visibly dirty. When a server finally came by, bread was delivered without plates, utensils, or napkins, which required an additional long wait. Service throughout the meal was extremely slow. We watched several other parties arrive, dine, and leave while we were still waiting. The chicken piccata was not prepared correctly and tasted more like a sour Alfredo-style sauce. The steak was chewy and not cooked as ordered. Pros: We received a small complimentary cannoli for a birthday, which was appreciated. The ambiance was festive and nice for the holidays.
