I was in dire need for new contacts, as I had a tear in mine and am legally blind without them. I contacted the inept, unprofessional, rude optician, Cynthia Hill. I requested a new box of contacts and was told she would contact me the following day. I didn't call the next day because you never know when she's going to attack. Four days passed by and I decided to contact her to check on their arrival. She told me that they arrived the day after I ordered them, but, that she chose not to contact me because she heard that I was diagnosed with Covid-19. She claims to have gotten this information on a Facebook post, where I teach
words in Spanish to my students. She said that she assumed that I had the virus because my emoji taught the word "virus" in Spanish as my word- of- the day. I explained to her that it was my teaching tool Animoji and that I do not have the virus. She said that I'm unwelcome in her store and she didn't contact me on purpose, even though my contacts were in stock. She said, "you even sound sick." If you want your lens, I'll leave them outside on the street. I told her that despite 5 members of my family leaving her business due to her lack of customer service and despicable attitude, that I remained loyal to her. In response, she said, "you are an evil little person, a medical condition from which I suffer, and that I'm a pathetic 36-year-old who still lives home with her parents. She then hung up on me and said to get my contacts elsewhere. My family and I were loyal customers to this small business because of Cynthia Hill's father, an incredible optometrist. Sadly, Ms. Hill didn't live up to her father's pristine reputation and is losing clients by the week. Her poor customer service, moodiness, inability to be flexible, and nickel and diming her clients for anythineverything is a disgrace. However, mocking my medical condition by saying I'm an evil little person is abhorrent.
Also, her products are overpriced and antiquated. I'd rather get my eyes checked by a veterinarian than go to this disgusting excuse for an optician.
As an update, this disgusting excuse for an optician sold me faulty contacts, out of spite. Some contacts are missing from the box and the other ones are causing blurry vision! Her license should be revoked! read more
