We were looking for lunch and came across this Asian fusion restaurant. There is street parking available as well as a small parking lot behind it. There is a 2 page lunch menu and plenty to choose from. All the dishes we ordered were very good. We shared a sushi lunch order as an appetizer. Portions were generous and the hot dishes were tasty. Service was friendly and efficient. The decor was very nice. Will dine there again next time we're in town.

While looking for Chinese food in the area, Mango Tango came up on yelp as recommended for people who like Mr. Wangs in Oakdale. It is located in the heart of Islip Main Street. There is a very small parking lot in the back and street parking. Everyone was friendly, the place was clean and cute inside. Service was fast, the food was hot and came out quickly. This place is an Asian fusion place with many sushi options and a portion of the menu allowed you to choose meals from different Asian regions which is not something I've seen elsewhere where. The fried rice was very good. Less greasy and more fresh tasting than a traditional Chinese restaurant. Each of the plates came with serving spoons or tongs which is something else I haven't seen many places offer. It was good and worth a stop if you're looking for someplace different to eat.

Been here 3 times with my boyfriend now, the servers already recognize us when we come in which is very sweet. Service is always fast and good. Food is amazing and consistent. My go to's are the Szechuan Dumplings, the Volcano Roll and the Crunch Eel Roll.

I have been looking for a restaurant that can satisfy the classic American Chinese food cravings since our local place shut down during Covid and I wish this place did it for me but it didn't. The food wasn't bad by any means, tasted very fresh and clean but lacked flavor. I am still in search of a place that I can get a good chicken and broccoli and lo mein. I can't speak on their Japanese cuisine as I did not try it. I don't think I will order from here again.

The food was quite good! They are kind of expensive but nothing abnormal for sushi. The service was a bit slow, we waited about an hour for our food but it was a busy night! The salad was very good and I did enjoy my dinner here. The interior is always very nice and great for a night out

Decided on dining here based on the overall Yelp rating and I have to say, I don't get it! The hostess was very welcoming and we were seated quickly. However, it went downhill from there. Our waitress was in a hurry and seemed short with her responses. I'm not sure why because they weren't overly busy when we got there. Then, each appetizer and entree came out of the kitchen one at a time. Luckily, I was with my daughter and we shared everything but that wasn't our intention. It was almost as if they were waiting for us to finish each dish before they brought out the next. The food itself was ok. The miso soup and edamame were fine. We ordered a California roll and the avocado they used was overly ripe, mushy and starting to brown. Not a good experience for my daughter's first ever attempt at sushi. The fried pork dumplings looked nice on the plate but the filling was pretty soft/mushy to the point where I worried for a second they might not be fully cooked. We ate them anyway. The Pad Thai had a good flavor overall and came out piping hot but the pork that I got with it was also super soft and almost slimy. One positive was that we felt like we got a good amount of food for a little over $40.

I've always heard good things about this spot but it was our first time actually being able to go. Much nicer inside than expected. They have a great mix of options and drinks. The man who came over to give us water was extremely nice and told us to let him know if we wanted anymore at anytime. Our waitress seemed a little bothered when we weren't ready to order and we wanted another drink. Drinks were pretty good. Food was very good. General tsos had so much flavor. I chose the rock and roll and Valentine roll. Both had fresh sushi and shrimp. They had great sauces paired with each. The Rock and roll was definitely my favorite and I would highly recommend. We ended up not getting a second drink because we waited a little longer than expected. They were unable to do fried rice which was a . I would still come back again and give it another try though!

Dark paneled, highly polished wood and Asian accent prices blend with low lighting, neon and the ambient pulsing of low-key club music. Our waiter was... stoic. Huggy feely was not on the menu apparently. But that was fine. He was prompt and attentive and that's all we really want when we head out. Fairly extensive menu with a lot of sushi-house standards as well as their own specialty rolls (which, I guess, is a pretty standard thing to do as well). We got the ceviche for an app which was very small and pretty basic. Also got the Crunchy Crunchy Crunchy which was more interesting. Soft, spicy tuna provided a nice counterbalance to the fried seaweed. Oyster Bay roll featured a thin slice of jalapeño on top of each piece with a dollop of spicy Mayo. Not really hot (then again, I tend to like napalm on my wings) but had a pleasant and persistent kick. We have ordered takeout as well. Their Thai options seem to be fairly done. They should get an award for the most over-the-top take out bags. Overall, a nice night out. Happy with the service, ambiance and, most importantly, the food. We'll be back!

For the price you are paying, you are getting a good deal on most of the sushi, and chef omakase or tasting menu. On our recent trip, I ordered the $50 omakase, while my my brother and sister in law ordered the $75 chef special. How they differed, we were not sure. Later we found out that we were both to get a variety of dishes all of which were rather outstanding. Unfortunately, my $50 entree came with a rather boring close of 3 salmon, 3 tuna, and 3 scallop sashimi's. However my brother and sister in law received a true omakase tasting featuring approximately 10 sushi all of the better higher-end cuts, along with a special roll. The overall ambiance of the place is done up nicely as the price point suggests. Not entirely overboard, but just the right touches. The service here is also quite attentive with hosts and waiters being very welcoming. Just be mindful that they do get busy as most places during peak and weekend hours. I've learned my lesson and will not cheap out here and will order the $75 omakase. If you're not as hungry, they $50 will do, just know that you will be getting more sashimi than sushi, and the cuts will be your basic run of the mill. The $75 omakase is where things shine from start to finish.

Never been here before but always in the area shopping and we decided to give it a try and I'm happy we did. Came on Saturday around 6 and we came at the right time cause it started to get packed real fast. Upon arriving we were seated right away and I started off with a few sapporra beers. For food I got the fillet with shrimp over fried rice and my wife got chicken over fried rice. I also got a shrimp and chicken tempura roll and both were excellent. Very flavorful and very good sushi! The hibachi was also very good and I will definitely be back. I really enjoyed this place and I love how they have great happy hour specials and New Year's Eve deals! If you haven't been here you definitely need to check this place out! Food and service were great and the food was reasonably priced. I felt for what we got in food and apps the price was definitely cheaper than I expected! Will definitely be back and can't rave enough
