Mango mango always hits! We always finish our drinks in less than 10 minutes because it's just so good! You can tell they use real fruits in all their drinks. My favorite is their Ube Frappe with sago. The scenery in the place is very calming & relaxing. They also have cute photo op sections if you want to pose for social media. read more

This is a gem in VA Beach where you can get freshly made Asian desserts. The store is very cute and definitely instagram friendly. Service was friendly and was very helpful with recommendations. Got a couple of to go orders from here and thoroughly enjoyed them. Mango smoothie tasted of fresh mangoes. It had chunks of fresh mango and nata jelly. The hot almond dessert had wonderfully chewy mochi rice balls in it. If this was closer to me, this would be a regular haunt. read more

Am I guilty for visiting here for three consistent days in a row? Yes. Yes, I am. Mango Mango has become my favorite dessert place of all time in Virginia (it was love at first bite at their Falls Church location) and the fact that VB has this little slice of heaven makes the hearts (and stomachs) of local sweettooths' sing! All desserts are unique and hand-crafted with passion and expertise to present you with a vibrant experience! ‣ SAFETY - Currently, they are open for dine-in and offer takeout/delivery. While wearing masks properly and cleaning tables and surfaces quite frequently, they strive to ensure and maintain a clean and sanitized environment. ‣ QUALITY - Whether you are a first time guest or a returning one, expect beautifully presented, colorful desserts that are delightfully light and fresh! Best bets: - Green Tea Mille Crêpe Cake (S8) - Mango Mille Crêpe Cake (S5) - Strawberry Mango Juice Sago + Lychee Jelly with Mango Ice Cream (A5) - Ube Soup with Sago + Rice Ball (H9) ‣ AMBIENCE - If aesthetic places are what you enjoy, then bookmark away! Their pastel décor and modern interior are immensely photogenic! They also have a stunning floral signage wall located on the direct left of the entrance (pictured below). With light and calming music, ample spacing, and comfortable lighting, the cute + cozy space provides a very soothing atmosphere. ‣ SERVICE - Every interaction with the team has been consistently pleasant, welcoming, and informative! Like the desserts, they are super sweet! I truly cannot recommend this mango-nificent spot enough! read more

We had a great time. It was my first visit to the Mango Mango location in Virginia Beach, though I've been to the New York location before. The dessert here was just as delicious, and our server, Donna, was so sweet. We tried the mango dessert, mango ice cream, and the Earl Grey lavender tea--oh my god, it smelled amazing! We had a little sweet tooth today. We decided to try out Mango Mango. I was very impressed with this small establishment. Service: Very sweet young lady did a great job from beginning to end Items: All sorts of ice cream, smoothies, and tea combinations to fit the theme of their business. I had to Mango Sundae and my wife had Mango Green Tea. Both very good! Very impress by the tea china as well. Very beautiful inside as well and good soft music. High recommend it Here is a tip..they don't serve honey or sweetner if that's your thing with tea. read more

Probably one of the only Asian desserts I've ever been in Virginia Beach... I enjoy coming here. I found this place through Yelp. My husband and I come here a lot when we're in town. The location is easy to find, the employees are nice and attentive and the desserts come out FAST! My only downfall about this place is that it stinks and smells like cleaning odor. When they wipe down the tables it's extremely wet and sticky. Also, the floors are sticky as well. I was pregnant at the time that I came here and I felt super sick and nauseous inside. read more

A 3.75 star review but hesitant to give it four since it was my first visit. Located in the Brenneman Farm Marketplace, this is a dessert only type of business. I had no issues with parking as all the options are a very short walk away. The menu and decor are inviting and the areas were well lit and clean. I only wish the female working that afternoon wasn't so frigid in her approach of taking my order. Nonetheless, we all have our bad days so let's just hope it was a passing moment. Many of the options contain actual mango or mango juice. Seeing that I am a fan of all things mango, I was all in. I enjoyed my mango juice, sago and pomelo with mango ice cream. The cost was $6.50 but subject to change as things do from time to time. The flavors blended well and it was very refreshing. They also carry made to order drinks, waffles and other desserts with a mango theme. I'll give it a little while to grow on me but I do see myself returning to explore other options on the menu. read more

Mango Mango is a winner winner! I love everything mango and this place definitely will crave those cravings. This dessert shop is decorated in beautiful pastel and I love the wall of flowers. The menu has a range of Asian fruits and desserts like red beans, sago, rice balls, durian, mango and more. The desserts I've had so far has not been sweet all. T 1. Snow White mango juice with sago- it's like a bowl of yumminess! Mango was sweet and the snow white is coconut milk cream like (forgot how the lady described it) but it's a loose consistency like eating a cold soup. 2. Snow White mango slush with mango and beans- it's very similar to the above dessert but icy since it's a slush drink. I feel the price point for these desserts is a little too high for what you get. For example, there was not a lot of mango or red beans in the desserts that I had. And I believe in my dessert 1, they may have forgotten the sago unless it was just that minimal. But nevertheless, I will be back to try out the mango pancakes. read more

How have I NOT written a review for Mango Mango...?! I have been here a handful of times and this place is truly one of the best places for Asian style desserts in the VB area. My absolute go to items here are the Mango and Durian crepe cakes. These are so freaking delicious! They are both light and fluffy and the overall flavor isn't too overpowering. At about $7 a slice it is pricey but oh so worth it because you can not get this anywhere else in the Hampton Roads area. I've also tried their classic drinks too like the Snow white smoothie with red bean and mango and that is an excellent drink on a hot day. Honestly, I love this place and their extensive menu. I would like to try some of their other drinks and classic desserts next. Their interior decor here is cute and can be a fun place to hangout with friends. Food is usually ready fairly quickly after placing the order. I ALWAYS ask if their t shirts are for sale and they always say no or have to check with their manager. It would be so cool to get one! read more

Nowadays, I keep seeing Mango Mango on social media. My friend told me that they have a location and NorVa and everyone seems excited when their VA Beach location opened a month ago. We ordered Snow White Mango Slush-o. The first thing I tasted was how sour the drink was. I am a big fan of mango, but sour mangoes are the worst for me. Mango is supposed to be sweet. Also, the white stuff at the bottom of the drink, which I am assuming is lychee (please let me know if I am wrong) taste like water. The drink becomes bearable when the mango and the milk were mixed. The sourness is still there however the milk lessens it a little bit. We were planning to eat at first, however it was full at that time so we decided to just do a carry out. There's numbers on the receipt, however the staff insists that they do not use that number to let the customers know when their food is ready. I thought their reasoning was odd because we have #87 on our receipt and they were already calling out 95. We were also there for more than 40 minutes and everyone who came after us left already. I think they sense my annoyance after I went to the counter 3 times and told them that we were there for more than 40 minutes. Other than their unorganized service, the restaurant is very bright and pretty. It's actually a good place to take pictures for your social media. I really wanted to like this place because everyone seemed like they had a good experience when they come here. If I ever decide to come back (which I might because my SO wants to try this place), I hope that we will have a better experience. read more

Very unique dessert offerings that are hard to come by in Hampton Roads. Its one of those places where you wouldn't really visit unless someone else took you or you are already seeking a place like it, but I'd encourage everyone give it a shot. All of the desserts we've tried have been delicious and fairly priced. The location itself is very colorful and Instagrammable. Our order came out quickly. I'm not big on sweet stuff or desserts. But I could go here often! I get the same thing with the strawberries, Mango, lychee, scoop of mango ice cream, & slushee. I wasn't expecting much with this place because I'm from Hong Kong, where mango dessert is very iconic and popular, so I am very picky about mango dessert or any other Chinese desserts. My mom and I shared the Mango Mango Combo A (Special Mango Juice Sago & Pomelo with Mango Ice cream, Snow White Juice with Mango and Black Rice, and Mango Mochi). The Special Mango Juice Sago & Pomelo with Mango Ice cream, there's definitely not enough Sago and Pomelo compare to the traditional of this dessert, especially the Sago. You're mostly having mango juice and the ice cream, which tasted good but if you're naming thjs dish as what I had in Hong Kong, that's totally a different dessert. The Snow White Juice with Mango and Black Rice, The Snow White Juice is actually coconut milk frozen. The frozen is lack of coconut flavor so it actually just tasted like the black rice and the mango cubes. All the dessert looks pretty and taste not bad, it's just not as same as the traditional ones I had in Hong Kong and once again Sago is very cheap so I don't know why they put so little in that first dessert. The building is pretty and bright but had a weird smell and humid so they might need to work on that. I'll still come back because there's no other option to have mango and other Hong Kong desserts so I hope they will do better on their recipe. read more

Dessert overload!!!!! I love anything mango and if you're like me you will love this restaurant. When I walked in I was actually expecting to just order something and take it to go but that didn't happen. We were greeted by the server and asked if we wanted to sit down as she was holding the menu. We sat at a table and looked at the huge front to back menu of a the items available. Wow!! It was a lot!!! The menu itself had pictures and they all looked so good, it was hard to decide on what to order. We ended up ordering the crepe with strawberries, bananas, Nutella and mango ice cream on top. We also ordered the strawberry mango juice with rice balls. The mango juice came out first so we started digging in. I thought the mango juice flavor was lacking due to thE shaved ice underneath. On top was a big scoopp of mango ice cream so we just started eating that there was a good amount of fresh fruit and rice balls. When the crepe came out, it was so pretty. The kids couldn't wait to dig in. There was plenty of fresh fruits and ice cream on top. The kids loved this one and ate it alll up in no time. The inside was really cute and bright. The staff was friendly and attentive. We will be back to try other items off their menu. So many good choices here!! Be sure to check it out!! read more

This place is so cute. When we went (a Saturday night) they were pretty packed with people sitting in & getting to go orders. They were out of a lot of things (#covid19), but they had a ton of varieties to choose from. My significant other and I had just rated dinner and we were wanting dessert. The hours here are great, and the ambiance was even nicer (I did take a selfie in front of the flower wall- I was obsessed. But then I tried to take a pic of my dessert crepe in front of the flower wall and spilled it all over my lap- I still ate it though...). This place is like a Chinese dessert place- there were a lot of things I've never heard about. I got the strawberry & mango Nutella crepe with green tea ice cream, and my boo got the one pictured (vanilla ice cream, strawberry Nutella). We were really happy, and our server was the cutest & sweetest young lady! She did so well with the business of the crowd. We will definitely be back. read more

What a cute little cafe! I forgot that this is a sit down I was curious to try the different variety of treats they had available - the menu had so many offerings that it was overwhelming. My friend and fellow YES member Nita was with me, and we tried the mango combo B, the black sesame paste soup (not pictured), and the matcha crepe roll. All three were very tasty - the mango combo was nice with the diffferent variations. I especially liked that they threw in some lychee jelly in it to add a twist to the flavor profile. The black sesame paste soup was yummy! I've never had a sweet soup, but it was pleasantly warming to the soul, and not too sweet -the little sweet mochi rice balls were also a nice accent to it. My matcha crepe roll was just okay - a large green pancake rolled with cream and a little adzuki bean glaze inside - to me this one was just okay. I'm super excited to come back and try a few more things... and take Instagram ready pictures in front of their pretty flower wall :) read more

Today was my 2nd time coming. Today my daughter and I decided to come here for an after dinner treat. We both got the crepes. I got the banana strawberry crepe with coconut ice cream. It was AMAZING! It was stuffed with the fruit and lots of whip cream. It was absolutely delicious! Now I will not review the mango strawberry crepe my daughter had, but I will say something about their durian ice cream. I'm sorry, but this is probably the worst tasting ice cream I've ever had. Of course I'm not in any way blaming them, just durian in general. I've heard of the awful smell, but my gosh, it smell land taste is utterly acrid. I guess durian is NOT my cup of tea. Still, this place is wonderful! I can't wait for the next time. read more

A mango themed dessert place?!? Just the thought of it sounds delicious!! Don't like mango?? Well there's more than just mango-flavored desserts as well. It is the perfect place to satisfy any kind of sweet tooth. The location is small yet so bring and airy. The decor is super adorable and their dishes are Instagram-worthy. You are seated by a waitress shortly upon arriving. During my 2 visits, the service has always been quick and friendly. The hardest part about coming here is trying to decide what I want to order. There are so many appetizing dishes to choose from. On my first visit, I ordered the sampler platter to help my indecisiveness. Everything was really yummy. I really enjoyed their mango mochi with fresh cut mango in the center. During today's visit I order the fresh fruit dish. It was a good balance of sweetness, without it being overly sweet. I've also tried the mango mille cake. It is hard to describe honestly, but it is amazing. The various layers stacked together produce a moist, decadent taste. My mom and I stopped in to get our mango fix since we're both big fans of it. She got the mango smoothie and I got the special mango juice with pomelo. They were both decent size. Mom thought hers was just okay because it felt watered down rather than the thicker consistency of what a smoothie should be. I thought mine was tasty but could use less pomelo cause I didn't care for the tartness. When we're back in town, we'll definitely come by again. The service was amazing though! #1/2020 First review of the year has to go to Mango Mango. In a 7 day span, I visited 4 times. NBD. This place is just so cute. The very first time I visited was a couple weeks before Christmas and my son and I were pressed for time but we went anyway. We were surprised when we walked in and saw a sign that said, "Please wait to be seated." Oooh, hey, you fancy, huh? Okay then.... Table for 2, please. Having prepped myself ahead of time I had already perused the extensive menu but I still could not decide what to have upon arriving! Just too many choices and everything looked and sounded yummy. Spoiler alert: most of what I've tried have been portioned for just one person. I mean, I'm sure you can 'share' but a) why do that?! Life's too short - eat dessert!, and b) you're probably going to end up wishing you got one for yourself. Haven't tried the sundaes yet but I feel like those are larger sized and adequate for sharing. Whether or not you're accustomed to the supporting flavors they offer, everyone knows mango, right? Matcha, durian, ube, pomelo to name the few other flavors. Do yourself a favor and do a quick research on those exotic flavors. Have an open mind and a welcoming palate and you just might surprise yourself! Culture lesson: "Sago" is pronounced /sah-goh/. Kinda like when you're trying to leave up outta somewhere and you say, "I've got tah go." Lol!!! Service has been good for each of my visits. I have no complaints whatsoever but I've read and seen slow service for other customers. Some of the servers look overworked and overwhelmed but then again, they're teenagers and you already know how that goes. Prices are so-so. Some items are on the higher end (esp for the size once you see what I'm talking about) while some I feel are priced about right. As mentioned before, I haven't yet had the sundaes nor the hand-crafted drinks. I've wanted to try the waffles but they're always "out" so I've had crepes instead, which are delicious and so Insta-worthy. It's very clean, bright, and cheery inside and I think they're quick with bringing out orders as they are prepared just as they are efficient picking up dirty plates and cleaning off tables. It's a semi-tiny place but there's a good amount of seating designed mostly for smaller parties of about 4 or less. Last few notes worth taking: - Ample parking since it's in a shopping center by Harris Teeter over at Brenneman Farms. - There's free Wi-Fi. - Mango Mochi takes some time and are usually not available until 1 or 2 pm. - Their pancakes aren't what you're used to. They're balls! - I definitely recommend this place and obvi will continue to return! See ya there? =) read more

So glad there is a fun dessert cafe option in town AND only 4 minutes from my house! I love Mango Mango and their offerings!! Both times I've been it has been pretty busy but service is quick and the employees are super friendly. The interior is cute but some of the wall decor seems to be random and not necessarily following a sort of theme at all. In any case, the dessert is spot on and that's all I care about! Highly recommend the durian items if you're a fan of the fruit or super adventurous. They are delicious and spot on with the fruit flavor and texture. At our last visit we tried the snow white slush with red bean and mango. There was not that much mango in this but the slush was really tasty without being too sweet! I really liked this. Asian desserts have lots of fun textures without being too sweet so have fun trying something new! Parking is super easy in the shopping center. There are about 6 or 7 tables and a wall of booth seating available and turnover can be pretty quick! Definitely a great addition to the VB dessert scene! read more

I was excited to see that this chain was making its way to Hampton Roads. I'd been to their franchises in PA and NYC. I think it's a bit of an awkward model (and this goes for all its locations). It would be nice if it was a fast casual restaurant instead of a sit down restaurant. It just feels like a waste of time to eat dessert at a sit down restaurant. When we arrived, we weren't immediately seated and it often took a few tries to get the waitress' attention. I didn't think the mangos were that fresh and maybe it was a little bit too cloyingly sweet. My favorite is a seasonal item - the mango and watermelon with mochi bowl. Because it was out of season I just got mango and mochi. It was just alright. I'm a little hesitant to come back...I know it was just getting on its feet so I might give a month or so and try it again when my favorite item is back on the menu. read more

This is a new franchise here! They serve desserts, fruit dishes, and hot or cold drinks like slushie, boba, and hot tea. It's 1 store away from the big Harris Teeter. The design inside is cute with bright colors. All of the staff was friendly and helpful, like pointing out a similar dish that didn't have dairy in it for me. I tried this place alone on my first visit and had a mango dish and a slushie. The mango dish was really good, all the fruit here is super fresh. Even though the mango dish listed pomelo as a lead ingredient, it only had a few bits sprinkled on. The grapefruit slushie was really tasty, I was glad it wasn't super sweet. My second visit I took my mom, we both had hot tea. I tried the matcha crepe cake (they were out of many flavors) and was glad it wasn't super sweet, just very filling! I had earl grey lavender, and it was good, made with a tea bag. Mom had the lemon kumquat brown sugar tea. It was good but the flavoring and/or brown sugar got kinda cooked at the bottom and there were some chunks that came out and stuck to the bottom of the inside of the Tea pot. It was also very sweet! We found the tea pots super cute, but not super clean. Her sundae was awesome, she said. Service is great and staff is knowledgeable, but they can be a little scarce when it gets very busy. read more

How thankful I am that this place is literally seconds from my house. I've been here a couple of times already and have been very pleased overall with the dessert selection and aesthetic. If you're ever feeling gloomy, walking in will just make you forget. It's vibrant but not too flashy. It's just...happy. I was a little thrown off at first because I didn't know you had to wait to be seated and I was oblivious of the huge sign that was in front of me once I walked in.. To answer the question if it's good for groups, maybe 1 or 2 big groups would fit? Otherwise, there will be a wait. I love how their menus have pictures for 90% of the items, great for the visual foodies like me. Lol. If you're not a huge fan of mango, there's also a variety of desserts with other flavors to choose from; chocolate, ube (purple yam), matcha, etc. The menu is not just for the warm weather either, they have options for the cold winter days. My goal is try them all! If you're new to the hype, I'd recommend to try the sampler, it has a little bit of everything. The only thing that was a turn off to me was the music choice upon coming in recently. This place draws families and this recent visit, they had uncensored songs that were dropping the f bomb all over the place to which we had to request for them to change the playlist since we had children with us. Thankfully, they saved the visit by switching it to some 90s jams. Other than that mishap, however, I would definitely recommend trying them out! You can get to go too!! read more
