However, they told me they don't take reservations and to just walk in. Well, we got there and had to wait 58 minutes before we got seated. Pro tip: just have them put you down on the list. Don't listen about not taking reservations for large parties. I found out after that a group of 8 got reservations for 6:30 so I was quite unhappy about that. It didn't help that there was a table with 3 people who were there since 3pm (it was already 7:58 at this point) who were still occupying the tables and the staff couldn't make them leave. They eventually moved them to another smaller table, but they could have done that sooner, just saying. Not the restaurant's complete fault, people can be extremely inconsiderate but there maybe should be a system for dealing with these types of situations. All they had were empty bottles, they were not ordering anything. Anyway, we finally got seated, and as expected, the food didn't disappoint. We got the Tasty Chicken (always a must), boneless kalbi (super tender and flavorful), loco moco (one of the best on the island) and oxtail soup (theirs is pretty solid). We also got pumpkin crunch, strawberry crunch, and cream cheese brownie. Everything was amazing as usual and they all said it was the best food they had on-island during their trip. The food was worth the wait, but, that wait could've truly been avoided. It's not somewhere you take a first date unless you are bowling because it is super loud. It is located in an out of the way, not really scenic spot. Parking can be a bear. But it remains to be one of those tried and true "local" spots that never fail to please. *Rating is solely for the food and reliability of the excellent flavors and quality of the food

Mango Mango Dessert is one of my favorite spots when I'm craving something sweet and refreshing. The moment you walk in, the ambiance feels cozy, modern, and relaxing--perfect for catching up with friends or just treating yourself to a dessert break. The food and drinks are amazing. I ordered the taro boba, and it was smooth, creamy, and had just the right amount of sweetness. The boba pearls were perfectly chewy and fresh, which really made the drink stand out. I also tried the green tea crepe cake, and it was absolutely delicious. The layers were thin and soft with a light matcha flavor that wasn't too overpowering--just the right balance. The real surprise for me was the ube soup with sago and rice balls. It was warm, comforting, and full of rich ube flavor. The texture of the sago and mochi-like rice balls added a fun and satisfying bite. It was unique and something I'd definitely get again. The service was great--friendly, fast, and helpful. The staff made sure everything came out quickly and checked in to see how everything was. You can tell they care about the quality and the customer experience. If you're looking for a dessert place that offers more than just the usual treats, Mango Mango Dessert is definitely worth a visit. Great drinks, delicious desserts, and a chill atmosphere--it's an easy 5 stars from me! read more

I recently visited your smoothie dessert establishment that left me extremely disappointed. Despite my efforts to support local businesses, I was shocked to discover that they impose a 20% surcharge for slightly larger orders. I ordered 5 slices of cake and 1 smoothie, only to be hit with this unreasonable fee. Not only was the surcharge exorbitant, but the fact that it was applied to pre-sliced cake and a simple smoothie is simply absurd. I believe that small businesses should be transparent and fair in their pricing, especially when it comes to loyal customers like myself. I urge this establishment to reevaluate their surcharge policy to ensure that they are not driving away customers who are eager to support them. Until then, I cannot in good conscience recommend this place to anyone looking for a reasonably priced and enjoyable dessert experience. read more
