There is a specially designed head spa table that is used that is highly functional and comfortable. Hong is very knowledgeable and made sure to do a thorough analysis of my daughter's scalp prior to beginning her treatment. To prevent my daughter from getting her shirt wet, Hong provided a special towel to wear instead of her shirt. After lying down, she offered my daughter a lavender scented or unscented eye mask to further the relaxation during treatment. She then began a series of treatments including the use of special brushes to massage the scalp, removing dead skin cells. That was followed by the use of a hair steam treatment, and a neck and arm massage was provided during that time. The treatment was completed with some heat damage prevention products prior to her blow drying. I loved how personable, knowledgeable, and professional the treatment went. We will definitely be back.

She didn't copy the highlight placement beyond the front piece which I already had. How these haircuts even look similar to her is beyond me- I wanted those bangs and I got late 90s wisps. I asked for a gentle taper to the back but got a straight cut that looks more damaged than before. After 4 hours in the chair I wasn't about to waste anymore time asking for something she clearly couldn't deliver. If you don't want to rearrange all your plans to get your hair fixed by someone else, don't book here.

Jay is incredible and gave me the best brazilian blowout I've ever had! He was meticulous and really took his time, even though it was late and he had squeezed me in last minute. He knew so much more than other stylists about the service he was providing me with. He went above and beyond, down to the broken baby hairs near my face- took his time to blow them out in a special way so that they would actually lay flat. His prices can't be be either! Jay cut my hair today and I want to talk about a few different things I noticed. First, he is very personable. He is easy to talk to, nice, and considerate, making a very comfortable environment for the customer. Second, he takes his time on your hair. Most places I go use a electric razor with a piece on the end to shorten my hair. Jay uses his scissors and comb, creating a much better quality haircut that flows throughout. Awesome first experience at Jay's ManeTame. Jay knew what to fix and how to fix it. I had a problematic mix of old balayage, too bright highlights and grown roots. I've been trying to get these toned down to a more natural color but no one gets it. Well, Jay got it and the color is perfect! Jay is absolutely awesome! If you're looking for someone to do some serious color transformation for you, he's definitely the one to go to. I wanted to go for a dark brown to a light brown, almost blondeish, color but was worried about the damage that comes with dying hair. He was so patient and careful.
