The salon is very cozy and relaxing. The salon chairs are comfy and it's not overly loud. I picked Jenn as my stylist based on her profile and expertise. WOW WOW. What a phenomenal person she is and more importantly her skill is flawless. She proceeded to do a very thorough consultation, she listened to what I wanted or thought I wanted. . She made great recommendations and I can say that by the end of the service I felt fantastic. Jenn is a master of her craft and I will be a loyal customer because of this outstanding service. This salon and its staff are lovely, so nice, and SO good at what they do. I was lucky to find Cara in September 2021 when I moved back to Houston. I needed a curly-hair, dry-cut and color/highlight pro; Cara goes above and beyond with helping me maintain a beautiful curly cut and color! She also got me through chemo through all of 2022. Cara was so supportive when my hair fell out, gave me an epic buzz cut, let me know when it was time to shave it off completely, and then stuck by me as my curls grew back out. She also always does a beautiful job on my hair color/root touch-up and highlights. 100/10 recommend Cara! On the few occasions when she has been unavailable, Rachel, Meg, and Jen have also been fantastic. Every time I'm at Bleach Salon, it's clear that many customers are regulars, all of the staff produce great cuts, and everyone is really nice. Also, their coffee is very, very good! :)

These were also given to me promptly. The professional I would be with, Amanda was very nice and friendly and reassured me through my anxiety. There was a consultation, shampoo and picking of setting style, before the actual cut. And the cut was amazing! I felt like my whole body felt lighter and was confidence soared after the seeing my new haircut. Amanda really listened to what I wanted and gave me honest and super accurate advice. I got to the appointment 10 minutes early and she took me right away. I told her exactly what i wanted and even pointed to my chest bone to where i wanted the length and the face framing pieced the shortest piece at my clavicle. She cut my hair sooo fast in like 15 min and proceeded to tell me that she needed to shampoo someone elses hair. After about 6-7 minutes she blow dried my hair and immediately i knew it was WAY TO SHORT. pretty much all of my hair is at my clavicle. After blowdrying she told me she needed to recheck foils for the same other person. When she came back again 5 min later cut some layers. She showed me the back and i was like oh its cute but really short. Instead of acknowledging me she was like so cute for summer. At this point she left super quick again for other client while another person curled my hair. NOW- i dont mind have to check foil etc but i felt like she was very rushed to go to this other client even though i had an appointment...then the hair cut itself isnt bad but its not what i wanted. I didnt feel like complaining anymore because my hair will grow back. But for the price i expect who i book to take more than 20-25 min cutting my hair.

Found Lola via a Groupon I had for the salon she was at at the time (seems like many moons ago). I so needed a new stylist and thought this would be a good 'cheap' way to explore that option. I read some good reviews, so called and booked an appointment. I said I wanted whoever was the best with color and long hair. So our destiny was set. Lola sat me down and offered me some wine or tea (I went with the wine of course - it was a first cut with a new stylist). We discussed my hair, lifestyle (I'm not going to 'fix' it every day), and made a plan. She worked some serious MAGIC! I loved my cut, color, and style when I left! Well here's the thing about Lola. I hate when you 'get lucky' and have a good style one visit and then the stylist can't repeat it ... not Lola. She is consistently good. Enough so that now I just let her do what she wants, cause even if it's different from what I may have thought I'd want - her ideas are way better - it always looks awesome. Lola was very careful to see the habit of his hair in every part, and cautious in every cut asking if he likes the cut during the service. My husband didn't want a big change in his hairstyle, yet wanted to make it "reasonably" short. Though our order wasn't very clear (maybe), she nailed it! We are happy with his new hairstyle, which is easy to take care of. Would recommend for Asian hair too. Lola is a fun, sweet person to talk with too!
