Her personal space which is located within Sola Salon Studios in Carlsbad is clean and private. During my appointment, Michelle made sure her time was dedicated to me without distraction. I walked in with short hair and walked out with luxurious long hair (much shorter appointment time than I expected - she had the extensions on within 45 minutes!!!). I have had the extensions for about a week and still love them as much as I did the day she put them on. Michelle and I have text messaged a few times within the last week. Best extensions ever! Even if they were terrible I would still want to hang out with Michelle...she's the sweetest. :) But, they are far from terrible. They are truly the very best extensions I have ever had! Michelle knows exactly what she is doing. She color matched my 18 inch tape in extensions perfectly to my own hair, and then she touched up my roots too. She's a pro!! And as I mentioned, she's so sweet and fun to hang out with. Michelle is the best!! Her Do Or Dye salon in Sola is so comforting & private. She knows her stuff & has an eye for creativity. She is willing to come in as early as six am! Where else can you find a stylist that will start the work day that early? Personally my schedule is all over the place, Michelle has never made me feel like I was infringing on time, always more than willing to be flexible with your demand. Not to mention she'll get an amazing job done. I've gone to her for all over color, color correction, cuts, and Hot Head extensions. I wouldn't go anywhere else! I made an appointment with Michelle to have my hair trimmed and ombre touched up. I have such thick coarse hair that it's been tough to find a stylist who knows how to handle all of the volume and texture. Michelle was great! We emailed prior to my appointment so she had an idea of what color I wanted to achieve, and when I sat down in her chair she had photos saved of similar looks to what I had in mind. Well, let me tell you. What an adorable and chic little salon! I've been to a few different salons inside of Sola Salons for a variety of services, and Do or Dye is by far the most warm and welcoming studio! Very pleased! I decided my hair was in need of a deep conditioning treatment. When I saw Michelle's salon on styleseat.com, she had a great deal on a deep conditioning which is followed by a blow out. She was right in my area, and I definitely wanted to try it out. I'm so glad I did!! After consulting with Michelle, we decided to try a treatment called "Mythic Oil," I think L'oreal makes it...anyway it was such a peaceful and relaxing fifteen minutes. The scalp massage was my favorite part :) The whole treatment was finished with a a blowout where Michelle gave my hair some SERIOUS volume! I've never seen it so voluminous with great curls. As I was going out to a special dinner (for my birthday) after my treatment, I appreciated how she really polished off my look. I have recommended Do or Dye to many of my friends and co-workers. Michelle is a great stylist, so personable and really seems to know what she is talking about.
