Haley has been doing my hair for 10 years. She's taken my hair to blonde, brunette, red, back to blonde and even to purple! She truly is an artist. When I moved 6 hours away, I tried another salon....big mistake! My hair was damaged and I was so unhappy. I started to make the trek down to see Haley again. She's well worth the 12 hours of driving! My hair is healthy again and I won't let anyone else touch it. read more

I recently moved to Carlsbad and with that, lost the ability to go to my favorite barber. I'm one of those people that is skeptical about getting my hair cut by someone new because, like many people, I've been greatly disappointed with the outcome of the cut. All that being said, I found myself going into DOLCE to try them out. I mean, just look at the photos of this salon and you will see what I saw: this place is IMMACULATE. I was paired with a super great stylist named Haley who said that she too just relocated to the area, which put me a little at ease. I told her what my barber used to do with my hair and the cut that I liked. She was so warm and friendly, very easy to talk to and I felt very relaxed with her. I could tell that she was going to do a great job because she was attentive to what I was telling her I wanted and offered a few recommendations to think about. The cut started with a shampoo and scalp massage, and at that point I knew that I was in for a serious treat! Haley really took care of me here; without a shadow of a doubt, that scalp massage could have been done with the hands of an angel!! It was the best I've ever had, and the massage helped to relax me even more. After the heavenly shampoo and scalp massage was done, Haley got started on the cut and cut it the way that I told her my barber did it. I remember she was so nice and genuine and was a great person to converse with. The cut was done, but not quite: she reminded me of the suggestions that she had and helped me visualize what the different cuts would do. I wasn't about to question it, so I gave her the go-ahead to cut it to her recommendation and now I have the best haircut I've ever had. No joke here, guys, I've never been so overtly and genuinely ecstatic with a haircut!! Her recommendation was PERFECT! I will never go anywhere else, and HALEY is the only one that will ever cut my hair. I've already forgotten the name of my barber... read more

Haley is an amazing stylist, but even more than that, she is an amazing, caring, loving person. She is very talented. She does a color weave twice a year with highlights and lowlights and the end result always looks so natural. I get a lot of good compliments about my hair. Her monthly touch ups and trims, keep me looking good! While my husband was in the hospital, she reached out to me to see if she could bring me some food. I think this says it all. It's not about business, but about a relationship. She really cares about her "people". Helen H. read more

Haley is not only a talented hair and make up artist, but a wonderful person. I've had the pleasure of working with her in multiple facets. Her hair/make up designs and assistance in theatre shows are thorough, helpful, and creative. I've watched her present make up education classes for children's theatre. Her presentations are so articulate, dynamic, and informative for students and adults alike. Haley has also done my hair and make up for theatre headshots and knew exactly what I wanted/needed. Haley is one of the kindest people I know and an expert in her craft! read more

Haley is absolutely amazing! Not only is she an amazing woman but she is amazing at her job! Haley's passion for her work sincerely shows in everything she does. I have been going to her for my hair for a long time now. She was the first and only person I tried when I moved to San Diego. She has taken my hair from my natural dark brown to plum then to super blonde then back to a natural brown and finally black/blue. And every time it is absolutely amazing! My hair is never damaged and as long as I do my part to take care of it the color lasts forever! She also convinced me to chop off a lot of length and I never regretted it!! I recently moved to Colorado but will continue to see Haley for my hair anytime I'm back in SD! read more

Haley is incredible!! I found her almost a year ago and I've been in hair heaven ever since! It's ok to want your naturally curly hair chemically straightened, you just need someone who knows how to apply a Brazilian Blowout effectively and safely! I've been getting BB treatments for over a decade, but only with Haley has my hair looked or even been the healthiest it's ever been. It's finally resulted in the kind of growth I've desired for years! And, when it comes to coloring she knows exactly how to counteract the warmth my hair pulls and gives me exactly what I want every time. She's meticulous and insanely talented. read more

I can't say enough about Haley!! Her positivity and bright energy is only the tip of the iceberg with her. She is an incredible hairstylist in all aspects! So happy to have found her and wouldn't go anywhere else for my hair!! read more

HALEY IS THE BEST! She began doing my hair as a student in cosmology school. I was impressed with her eye for detail and creative ideas with my style and color. She continues to impress me with what I believe to be a God given talent doing hair and makeup. Best hair stylist I've had! I call her the "TRENDING CHEMIST!" She always gets the color I want right and she even makes suggestions to make it look better than what you want. I've wanted just brown and she added different tones of brown to make it not dull and boring. Also, she is amaaaaaaazing at haircuts, scalp massages, color correction, etc. If you want your hair done right, you just see Haley! Seriously, she can do it all with ease. I've gone from blonde to dark brown (which is hard to do for other people), from ombré to balayage and they've always come out great. I'll post some of the work she's done on me :) read more

Haley is a hidden treasure. Aside from the fact that she is a wizard at cutting hair, she is a delightful, honest and caring person. That alone is enough to want to sit in her chair but the real reason we go is because she listens to my two teenage boys and delivers the cut that they want after listening to the options she gives them. My boys were tired of their hair being butchered at other chain stores and we decided to give Haley a try. Now they won't let me take them anywhere else. Her haircuts are meticulous and she is gifted, even able to navigate the best look for my 17 year old with his numerous cowlicks. Hair grows out great too. She is fabulous at communicating and we feel fortunate to have found her! read more

Haley provides an experience. You aren't just getting your hair or makeup done, but instead end up getting your soul worked on as well. I've been a client for more than ten years. Haley is always sensitive to my requests but provides realistic expectations. She isn't afraid to be creative but respects your needs. She recognizes that you are an individual and that your physical appearance should reflect that. I love every chance that I get to work with Haley and have faith that you'll have the same amazing experience with her that I have always had. read more

Shortly after moving to Carlsbad, I had to start the painful process of finding a new stylist. Except... I hit the jackpot on my first try! I was lucky enough to walk into a salon on a whim, ask if there was any availability, and as luck would have it, Haley had a last minute cancellation. The rest is history! She has a pretty loyal following of clients, so I try to book my appointments well in advance. She keeps my ombre looking good and will also be doing a totally adorable Dutch braid crown for me next month when I attend Kaaboo! Haley is such a down-to-earth person, it's always a treat to hang out with her for an hour... Getting my hair done never feels like a chore. She uses really high quality products, is always up on the latest trends, and don't even get me started on that little mini scalp massage when she conditions my hair! She recently changed salons, and I did not even think twice about following her when she opened her own salon studio inside the Carlsbad Sola. I highly recommend her services! read more

I love going to see Haley! The first time I saw her was after I decided to color my own hair and it was a disaster! She did a color correction and it was awesome! You could not even tell I screwed up my hair. I have been going to her since and she always does a great job with color and cuts!! She is super friendly, easy to talk to and very creative! Will definitely continue to see her! read more

I don't know why I never left a review. Haley did my hair earlier this year. I had never done anything like what I was wanting to do with my hair before. I wanted to add purple to it. I was nervous but ready to be adventurous. Not only did she listen to what I wanted, my hair turned out beautiful!! I loved it so much. I wish I had pictures to show how gorgeous it was. Haley also made me feel so beautiful and confident in it. I can't wait to book my next appointment. read more

Since moving to Carlsbad a couple of years ago, I have been looking for a new hairstylist, and thankfully I found Haley! The last several stylists I went to would always cut my hair funky so that when I parted it on the side, the layers would look a little crazy. I explained my problem to Haley, and she always cuts my hair perfectly! Haley is also fantastic with color! I decided to finally try out the ombre/bayalage trend. When she first colored it, I was scared I went too blond, so Haley darkened it by adding some lowlights and a different tint. I get so many compliments on my color and how natural it looks. I got it colored almost 4 months ago, and it is growing out beautifully! read more

Haley is the BEST. I came in with who knows how many colors died on top of my natural color and wanted to go lighter for summer. I didn't think we would be able to get the color as light as I wanted, but she took the time and effort to do everything she could to get my color where I wanted it to be. And the result was FABULOUS. Not only did I get the color I wanted, she was able to do it without damaging my hair! The color blended so well. It was a bayalage with several shades of blonde leading up to dark brown on the top. And I have incredibly thick hair so it was a long process, but she was patient and cheerful the whole time. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a talented stylist. She's got you covered and works well with your schedule to fit you in. read more
