Liars !!!! Please stay away. I was told that my charge would be $150. Right before they charged me, they changed the price to $650!!!!! They are very greedy and rude. When I called them, they hung up on me and said they will charge me Extra If I wait ONE More Minute ! I am surprised that they are still in business and I am surprised that the state police are using them for towing cars for accidents. Hi. There are no debris of the accident. We have 4 witnesses there. It took about less than 5 mins to get the car onto your tow truck. The guy never once took out sweeper or any other cleaning product. I have pictures of it , as proof. Either he was not telling you the truth or you are making it up. What makes you so sure that he did the clean up ? All the parts were intact on my car, where would the debris come from ??????? He told me the price, and after loading the car to his Tow truck. That's when he said that he will call you to make sure that the price is accurate. I'm surprised they have 3 stars. Bold faced, incompetent liars. My motorcycle broke down, Progressive roadside assistance reached out to them. Waited over 90 minutes with the Progressive app. The entire status was "assigned". After the target time was passed, they said that after they realized it was a motorcycle, they called ME to cancel. BS!!! I will personally give them $1,000.00 if they show a record that they even TRIED to call me. If you are incapable of doing the job, man up and own it. So a moron from this company blocked this drive thru I was trying to access and proceeded to scream at me and tell me to go f*ck myself after I beeped at him and motioned for him to move a foot back since he was blocking a business. Real classy company, highly recommend. Very intelligent too. Thank god my man wasn't in my car or else things would have greatly escalated. Wonderful business practices. Hey asshole, here's a piece of advice: how about not blocking businesses or driveways the next time you're called to tow a car. Have some common sense and don't disrespect me because you're angry that I'm angry. Maybe learn how to angle yourself so that you don't make a fool out of yourself haphazardly attempting to load the car on the flatbed. Mandys was very helpful when I got a flat tire the other day. My 2019 Jeep Compass did not come with a spare tire of any sort, so I needed to be towed. On the phone the incompetent customer service man said it would be an hour wait but Mandys was there in 10 minutes. The driver (Nick) was very friendly and quick. My starter on my '07 Jeep Commander died one morning last week. I usually do all work on my truck myself but on my vehicle, the starter is buried and difficult to get to. I knew this because I already had a chain auto repair place replace the starter about 8 years ago. So, I went looking for a tow-truck to tow it to the same facility.....Mandy's was the closest. As I was looking up the phone number I saw Towing AND Service Center. I decided to give Mandy's a shot. The tow truck took a whopping 9 minutes to arrive. Tom, the driver, was super courteous and professional.....also very respectful of my property and car. He did a great job picking up my vehicle. He asked if I was needing a ride to the garage - I said No....I would just call them. Mandy's called back in a few hours with an extremely reasonable estimate - I approved the work. They were done EARLY, part replaced correctly, no extra up-selling.....and they charged exactly what they quoted.....and the tow - was extremely inexpensive from what I'm used to. Mandy's may have had some issues a few years ago, but rest assured - my experience with them couldn't be better. Oh yeah.....their price WITH towing was around HALF of what the chain store was 8 years ago. What more can you ask for? read more

When I got home one day, I notice one of my rear wheels was smoking with a bad burning plastic smell. I assumed my brake caliber was shot and leaking. I first took the car to nearby Pepboys, and they said to replace my calibers it would cost about $550, which is ridiculously high so I left and went to Mandy's next store to see if I could get a better price. Mandy's checked my car out 1st and to my pleasant surprise they told me that my brakes were fine and I must of run over a plastic bag or something or other got caught up there and that was the smoke I saw. So I give Kudos to Mandy's, they could have easily lied like they did over at Pepboys and charged me to replace my calibers and I would have never been the wiser. Mandy's was incredibly unprofessional, not to mention absolutely unhelpful. I'm sure they are skilled towers but my experience through Roadside Assistance was appalling. My car got wedged over a block of ice one morning when pulling out of street parking...you know, that block of ice from a car being plowed in a week ago, and nobody bothering to shovel, and it snowing and freezing over and it's just not going anywhere until it melts. I was unlucky enough for that to be the only free spot the night before. I had tried for almost an hour to drive out...I threw down some salt and gravel...the tires just spun. I used a shovel to try to break up the ice...nada. I unfortunately didn't have anyone available to help me try to push it and it was about 6am, so I called Roadside Assistance. They asked me to confirm that I was not simply asking to be pulled out of my driveway, or shoveled out (which apparently some people do...). I insisted that I had been trying to break through the ice myself for almost an hour, and it seemed to be wedged under my car...I definitely needed help. She relayed the information to Mandy's, and said they would be on their way. I called Mandy's number to confirm the ETA, and the woman immediately stated that the help I needed was not covered and because of this would cost an extra $50 on top of the $50 Roadside Asst covers. She said that because I parked on the street outside of my residence, it was not covered...if I was 20 feet up the road, then yes, it would be covered. I (I believe, reasonably) got quite frustrated. If $50 is what the service costs, then I have no problem paying it...this did not seem to be the case. I again explained the situation, that there was solid ice wedged under up to the undercarriage, no I am not actually in a driveway I am on the street, etc. and asked again why it was not covered. She interrupted me, would not answer my question, and actually hung up on me. The guy came anyway (early, I guess that earns the 1 star) and had obviously been briefed by the very pleasant woman I spoke to. He barely spoke to me, just took a picture of my car (may I mention, from the back, where the issue with the front tires was not even visible) presumably to send to her. He then told me that the price had gone up to $86, in addition to the $50 covered by Roadside Asst. I asked again for the reason behind the price increase, and he said something to her about "getting the same response" from me (god forbid I know where my money's going), and she told him to leave. So, like a henpecked husband, he hopped back in the truck and took off. I called Roadside assistance again, and they sent Noll Brothers (which seems to have bad reviews of their own, but my experience was very good). That guy also showed up early, and helped push my car over the ice, with some maneuvering. No $86 needed, just a tip and a thank you very much. read more

My truck broke down and one of the drivers happened to be right around the corner, I thought what a great thing! I live no more than 2 miles from where I broke down and was told it would be $120 for the tow. I am in the business and own a shop in another part of NJ and knew that was a high price so I declined and thanked him for the offer. there was a cop there immediately as well and helped push my truck into the parking lot next to where I broke down since I declined the tow. The driver was very rude and then proceeded to mock me to the cop and said watch he's going to call me, which I didn't. The driver left and then returned within 10 minutes and then offered the tow for $75 which wasn't bad but due to the high price originally and the rudeness I declined again. I think he realized how I wasn't happy with his approach and began being nice and started some small talk, too little too late. read more

would give 0 stars if i could. says 24/7 service but manager was never around past 4pm to release our car from their lot causing the storage fee to pile up. called them before to ask for the managers number to see if we could work something out but they said that id have to wait until the next day costing us another day for storage in which they charged a lot for ($40). these people stall and try to keep your car in their lot for as long as they can to get money. does not care much for their customers but only their money. would not recommend this place. read more
