I got into an accident, and my vehicle had some damage but nothing serious. All I really cared about was the passenger side door not opening all the way from the damage. I took my car in and was told "A couple of days and it should be fixed." I've currently been waiting 46 days for my repairs to be complete. I've spoken to them for 4 straight weeks and each time they say "Oh another week and it will be ready." First they said oh we have to order more parts. Okay fine. Then they said we have the parts but we are waiting on the insurance company. That got settled. Then they said another week and it will be ready. What happened I thought they had all the parts? Now they say 1 more week. They are either liars or incompetent. They continue to give me the run around on when my car will be ready. I DO NOT RECOMMEND them they will talk circles around you and drag their feet fixing your car. read more

Brought my SUV there for body work. Shop dragged their feet in getting the parts needed. Shop manager Dennis is a nasty individual who lied about every aspect of the repair. Dennis ran his mouth and then hung up the phone like a baby when he didn't like what he heard. My car got into an accident and when I brought it to get it fixed here, they were responsive and helpful until I got the car. When I got it back, it was good until I got home and chips of the paint were falling off and cracking near my hood, grill and headlights. They got extremely upset and harassed me to remove my bad review when this is how I feel and what my experience is. My friend got their car sent here through their insurance and they totaled their car because they could not find the parts. So either they don't fix it or they do a half-good job on it. Worst body shop I've ever dealt with in my life. Took my suv there for after an accident referred by the dealer. They had my car for a month while waiting for parts to come in. Dennis lied multiple times, was very nasty, hangs up the phone on you like a 2 year old would and Delores the same when they don't want to hear the truth. Very unprofessional business. I went to this shop on a Friday morning to get an estimate for some auto body damage on my car. I back up into a pillar in the garage at work. Since I saw the excellent review on yelp, I figure to give them a shot. Well I didn't even get a estimate for the repair. They were nice to greet me when I walked in, but I told them that I was paying out of pocket and not going through insurance. The lady at the front counter advised for that it'll take about 30 minutes to get an estimate. I told her if she can email me the estimate because I did not have 30 minutes to wait. It was strange because other places usually give you the estimate right away after looking at the car. I waited for a few minutes for a tech to come look at the car. I had described what happen and told him that I was going to pay on my own. He took some pictures and explained to me what needed to be done. He then said he will send the estimate via email in an hour or so. After checking my email the whole day I did not get anything and even waited for the whole weekend and got nothing from them. I wrote this review on a Monday morning and even went back and check my spam folder. Needless to day I won't be going back to them for anything. Maybe they figure they can not make money from an out of pocket repair. Its just a shame businesses don't follow up with their customers as she had my phone number and email address. This Auto Body place on Route 27 is very professional and help me out quite a few times over the years with my BMW. I highly recommend Tony and his crew. Although, much to my disappointment, someone crunched the back end of my husband's new BMW. We both have the same car, except different models & colors. Well, when my husband got his car back, it was fixed but not great. After some research, I found out that Open Road BMW has changed their Auto Body specialists. It shows, very disappointed and NOT happy at all. My husband has since complained to our insurance company. For the Record, Open Road BMW does NOT have their own Auto Body people. They send out your car to someone else. In the future-I am going back to Garden State Auto Body. Why change when these people GSAB does a fantastic job???? I just don't get the games? Open Road BMW needs to get their crap together if they still want to stay in business. read more
