Oh what a treat!!! Had a sister weekend and we had to find a good fast casual dinner. Mandola's immediately came to mind. Friday night's special was shrimp scampi and it did not disappoint! 10 out of 10 good! We also had lasagna, fried mozzarella, calamari and fried zucchini. Everything was awesome! Incredible service from the moment we walked in until we left. The Manager was one of the hardest working team members running, bussing, and greeting the whole time! We will absolutely be back!

That pizza oven is huge! my pizza was so good!

Love the people here! Feels like coming into Cheers bar where everyone smiles and yells "Norm"!!! The food is great and tastes amazing! The Italian theme is so exciting because while you are eating ... you are curious what the pictures are and what they mean!

Yummy semi self service Italian joint. I think it's an offshoot of Carraba's. I had spaghetti and meatballs. Good sized portion nice flavor. Hubby had ravioli with mushrooms in a cream sauce. Tasted good. Had leftovers. Eclectic music---Frank Sinatra to Elton John to Foo Fighters.

My kids constantly ask for Mandola's and so we finally cane in for lunch time. The inside wasn't too busy and we were able to order right away the service we received the entire time was very friendly even when the delivered complimentary bread and our meals. The food came out super quick which was nice the kids enjoyed every bite. After they were finished they get a little kids gelato cup, which might be their favorite part. Turned out to be a great visit.

Very unique pizzeria! A lovely design and tasty food. The entrance features a gelattoria which serves select samples of baked goods, next is a vino bar full of wine and beer options, the main "vendor" is the pizzeria. The bathroom featured free baby essentials (wipes, diapers) and women's sanitaries (pads, tampons) how generous and thoughtful. The outdoor patio was nice and lit. The indoor area featured kids tables/chairs/booster seats and multi color tables. Very family centric and service was wonderful. The food was great as well :) Go, enjoy!!

Mandola's Italian Kitchen in Riverview, Florida, offers plenty of convenient parking and a truly unique dining experience. Upon arrival, you walk in, enter a line to place your order, receive a number, and then seat yourself--a process that's both smooth and efficient. From the moment we stepped in, every staff member was warm and welcoming. The food? Absolutely incredible. We ordered the lasagna with homemade meatballs (made in-house and unbelievably good), the margherita pizza (easily one of the best I've had), garlic fries, fettuccine Alfredo, calamari, and a Caesar salad--every single dish was delicious. The desserts were a highlight on their own. Bibi, who was working behind the counter, was so friendly and went out of her way to let us sample different treats. Her kindness and knowledge made the experience even more enjoyable. The desserts were rich, fresh, and downright mouthwatering. 10/10 experience--I can't recommend Mandola's enough!

This was my second visit to Mandola's, my first visit I ordered to-go. Their to-go portions are reasonable and they give you plenty of bread. I enjoyed my dine-in experience. You pick up a menu, order your food, and take a ticket that goes to your table so they can bring the food to you. The food comes out piping hot! And they also provide Parmesan cheese! The food is really good and the servers are really nice. The desserts are good as well! Swing by and try the gelato!

I liked this place! I got the fettuccini Alfredo and I think it had really generous portions and the pasta was extra saucy. The people working were all very nice and welcoming. The way it works is a little different than a regular restaurant. Instead of someone coming in to sit you at a table and take your order you have to order your food ahead of time and pick your own table. The service was still really fast and I liked this different approach since there were less interruptions! Although my husband said the chicken piccata was a little underwhelming I overall liked the experience and would come back to try something different off of the menu!

This is a lovely spot to visit. It's clear that this is a chain restaurant. There's ample parking available around the restaurant, and plenty of seating both inside and outside. My wife usually opts for the Lasagna, while I typically choose the Chicken Parmesan. However, today I decided to try their Monday special, the Chicken Capricciosa. This dish features a chicken breast coated in seasoned Italian breadcrumbs, topped with a salad of arugula and cherry tomatoes drizzled in balsamic vinaigrette, served alongside fettuccine in a tomato cream sauce. The chicken breast was flattened, and I wasn't particularly fond of the flavor; it tasted more like a flattened fried chicken. The fettuccine with tomato sauce was quite overpowering. I doubt I will order this dish again. My wife's lasagna was very cheesy, and she really enjoyed it. Upon entering the restaurant, you will find a cash register where you place your order and pay. They provide you with a number, cups for drinks, and you can choose a seat while they bring your food to you. The server will also bring you some complimentary bread with pesto dip. Your interaction with the servers is quite limited, as you usually refill your own drinks, but if you request a server to do it, I'm sure they will assist you. The prices are in the mid-range.

Ask the Community - Mandola's Italian Kitchen

Are there heaters on the patio?

I believe I saw some there.

What's the outdoor seating situation like?

There's several tables and chairs with umbrellas located in the front of the restaurant. At night be prepared for pickup cars to park there and not turn their lights off.

There is street parking and a small private parking lot. I highly recommend reservations on the Resy app about 1-2 weeks in advance, as the restaurant is busy in winter. FOOD: You can choose between a la carte or the Prix Fixe menu. The Prix Fixe is a small-portioned three-course (bite, appetizer, and entrée) menu featuring some of our signature dishes. The Prix Fixe experience begins at $58 per person (there are additional add-ons) for dine-in only. 1. Waterzooi Soup (3/5; Red Farms chicken | caramelized leeks | carrots | local cream | focaccia toast | parsley emulsion | carrot purée): This is a Belgian soup. The serving size of the soup in the prix fixe was relatively small. The presentation was nice, and the chicken soup was a nice winter dish. The chicken broth was savory but at room temperature. 2. Autumn Salad (2/5; mixed artisanal greens | brûléed bucheron cheese | radicchio | toasted French walnuts | red grapes | fig balsamic vinaigrette): I felt like something was lacking from this seasonal autumn salad. It's OK for me, as I mostly ate the bucheron cheese with the grapes and walnuts. 3. Filet Mignon (4/5; seared | maître d'hôtel butter | red wine jus | truffle potato purée | asparagus (additions: sauce Choron, seared foie gras, Maine lobster tail, local exotic Petrichor mushrooms): It was cooked perfectly. This is a staple in the menu. I did not add any of the additionals. The service was great. Our water and drinks did not touch the bottom. The server came around often to check in and give his recommendations. If you want to do order pick up, it is available Tuesday-Saturday between 5 - 8 PM. Would I come back? Yes. I want to try other items on the menu.

We aren't big wine drinks - but they are known for their gluten free options. We ordered our entrees and about 20 minutes into it the manager Eric came and introduced himself. The second round of drinks too too long and he again delivered the drinks w another apology. Jim was attentive and professional. The short rib risotto was just plain amazing as were all the other items delivered. I had the risotto so I can rave about that. We had ordered two appetizers to share , and were finishing when she came over. We were on the outside patio , our Chihuahuas were contained in their carriers, and the only time one of them barked was when the waiter came by. We were there early at 11:30. For 15 minutes we were the only ones out there , then this elderly couple came and when they walked by us the elderly woman gave us a dirty look. Five minutes later another couple sat but further away from us. That woman seemed to be the only one with a problem. I should have asked the manager that if someone had complained about a screaming child( which usually is constant) would they have been asked to leave? I really like the food , and the service but we are contemplating whether to go there again because frankly we felt insulted! We only brought the dogs to begin with because my daughter is going on a trip and she is leaving the dogs with us. So we were exchanging them, and thought we would have lunch. The manager and the elderly couple ruined the experience for us. The manager told us that pets were not permitted but I checked in two different places , and pets are permitted on their patio. I feel they should either change their policy , or inform the manager as to what the policy is because she told us that pets were not allowed! Next time we will meet somewhere in St. Petersburg because that city is very pet friendly!

A friend and I ordered the Japanese curry and short ribs, and both were disappointing. The portions were surprisingly small, and the curry tasted like a generic TV dinner that had just been warmed up. For the price, I expected much better. We actually ended up going next door to GrillSmith afterward because we were still hungry, which says a lot. That said, the wine selection was excellent, and the staff was very knowledgeable. If you're just looking for a great place to enjoy wine, this might be worth a visit. But if you're hoping for a full dining experience, I'd say skip the food and go elsewhere.

A must-try. 3 Chicken Skewers - The plump, glossy bites of heaven are dark meat, fatty, glazed and tender. The tangy and slightly spicy sauce matches well with the fatty meat. Paired with Reisling. 4 명태전 Pollack Joen - Fried egg washed fritters, served with a side salad. A very popular dish in Korea. Sometimes whole restaurants just serve various joen as their main menu. Paired with white burgundy. 6 카레 Korean Curry - Some say it tastes similar to the popular Japanese curry, but this curry is definitely in it's own category of yummy. As the only Asian food specialist that has written about specifically Korean cuisine and visted Korea multiple times, can speak, read, and write in Hangul --- Migak is my favorite Korean restaurant in Tampa Bay hands down.
