My favourite Chinese restaurant in Dublin, hands down!…read more My boyfriend introduced me to it as he had come here with his family when he was younger. He told me stories of the hoisin duck and every time we drove by he would stare wistfully at the restaurant. We eventually got the chance to visit together and he was totally right! It was delicious. I didn't even think I liked duck until that moment. They also do a delicious satay. And delicious everything else. When we're getting Chinese takeaway in the D15 area we will not order from anywhere else anymore. My favourite part about eating in the restaurant itself is the dim sum menu. I haven't fully explored it and only picked one for my starter but I am making it my mission to return and have just dim sum. Our friendly young waiter offered to help me pick out some dim sum dishes next time I return and I will be taking him up on his offer!

The place has a full Chinese menu plus dim sum, and I ordered three dim sums. The flat rice wrap came with abundant amount of BBQ pork stuffing. I do like the wraps being thin and slightly sticky and glutinous. Chicken feet were standard. Shiu mai packed bouncy shrimps and pork stuffing, could use a bit mushroom to add more texture. I think the food is worth4-4.5 stars, but it took quite a while for them to serve all the dishes, and occassionally the staff would have very loud discussions that sound a bit disturbing, so 4 stars.

We ordered their homemade dumplings which was boiled dipped in a special soy sauce. Veggies, beef, seafood, pork were all very good. Saw many folks ordering their hotpot which essentially is a boiling clay pot with veggies and your choice of protein . Tea and beer were reasonable. Simple decor and just table and chairs laid out. I do recommend this place if you're looking for delicious Chinese food without breaking the bank!

Best genuine Chinese we've had in Dublin. Heck, it's probably up there too if it were in LA…read more We were famished after a 2.5 hr movie at the Savoy on O'Connell and Chinese places were the only ones still open at 10:30pm. It's what we would've wanted anyway, but by the time we walked over, it was 10:45. There was only 1 other table still there and we were still greeted warmly, as we sheepishly popped our head in. We were presented with Chinese menus, which were not an issue for me, but my husband doesn't read Chinese. No problem, they had English menus as well. I noticed that the Chinese menu had a lot of 家常菜 or 'homestyle dishes', (at roughly 14-20 Euros) which are usually meant for sharing as a 4-top, or a family. Therefore, they're a bit more labor intensive and is not just a stir-fry/takeout menu. However, on the last few pages, there were smaller individual dishes at around 7-10Euros, and that's what we went with as we didn't want leftovers and wanted to eat quickly and turn in. As shown in the photos, we got 2 noodle soups and they turned out huge!!! I got the 3 seafood with mushrooms rice thick noodles (三鮮菇米線)while hubby got the beef noodle soup (牛肉麵). They didn't skimp on the meats, seafood, or the noodles. We devoured everything in roughly 10 minutes and polished off the pot of tea plus some lamb skewers by 11:05. The staff didn't seem bothered that we had overstayed closing time, and were still very courteous. I may be biased bc I very much love getting stuffed on noodles and soups, but this was one of the best meals I've had in Europe.
