YET ANOTHER UPDATE: She has now threatened me with a lawsuit over my negative review on Facebook. This just keeps getting crazier and crazier! ANOTHER UPDATE: I'm now being harassed by this woman on social media for writing a negative review. She is accusing me of slander for simply providing a review of my experience with her. Seriously, stay away from this woman if you care at all about customer service or professional behavior! UPDATE: I let her know that I was not interested in her services and she continued to email me. I finally had to politely ask her to stop emailing me yet she still won't stop. The emails keep coming through again just minutes apart, and they are completely irrational emails. CRAZY WOMAN!!!!! STAY AWAY if you want any sort of a professional service professional. Again, I can't comment on her quality of massage but this is just one of dozens of crazy emails I have received from this woman when all I did was ask two questions via email and never expected an immediate response. Mind you... I wasn't trying to schedule via email. I just asked two questions... ORIGINAL REVIEW: I share the same sentiments of all the other negative reviews. The fact that she commented on someone else's review claiming it was a personal attack just reiterates that I made the right choice. I emailed her asking some questions using the email address that is provided on her website. She sent me repeated emails over and over between the hours of 12 AM and 3 AM. She basically told me not to email her, refused to answer my questions and told me she only makes $10 off of the Groupon that I have. All I did was ask a question about availability and whether or not I can upgrade to a different massage, and her responses were absolutely ridiculous and it made me think I was completely inconveniencing her. None of her emails made any sense and they would come in just minutes after the previous one. She said she only makes $10 off of a Groupon and doesn't keep her calendar on her since she doesn't make any money. I simply sent her an email and did not expect her to respond immediately, especially if she had no answers to my questions. She continues to email me back after I have told her I am not going to be using my Groupon because she has been so unprofessional in her communication. I literally sent her my initial email and two responses. I must have received a dozen of emails from her over the last 12 hours, many of which were only minutes for parts. One would be very rude and condescending, and the next would be followed with a smiley face. It didn't make any sense! I finally had to ask her to stop emailing me! (Mind you I've been very polite in all of my emails). I can't comment on her quality of massage, but I have had hundreds of massages in my life and I will not see this woman simply based on her unprofessional and erratic behavior. It looks like many other people have had the same experience. I would not suggest scheduling anything with this woman because she seems completely irrational and EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!! After reading a few reviews, I had to do some checking. Yelp hires "hit men" to give businesses a bad review who do not "Buy" into them. If you ask any business out there who does not "Subscribe"? It's quite true. So do not believe all the reviews on here. You will find most negative reviews (Ie: Garet R.) with 47 reviews... All but 7... only ONE STAR. You can research the reviews by clicking on any posters name. If most of their reviews are bad? Bingo! Its not real. So buyer beware. Always check out your reviewers...in any review venue. I will be re reviewing all businesses I feel have been a target from Yelp and researching the validity of their profiles. So, I gave her a try... She was amazing.. personable and professional. I received a relaxing 90 minute expert massage with soft music and warm coconut oil. Nothing about my experience by phone, text or the massage matched what was impressed upon here. I mentioned to her that I am an investigator into yelp customers who have been given falsified reviews because they did not "purchase" from yelp. This was in fact the case here too. Being a therapist for over 25 years, she is an expert at healing and massage. I would recommend her highly and I am now a regular client. read more

I bought a living social voucher and it was the worst experience ever!!! Run, don't walk, away from this lady. She cancelled on me three times at the very last minute (24 hours prior to my scheduled appointments). Two problems with her car and one with her daughter. She told me that she only makes $8.00 off of a living social massage. No wonder she wants to cancel on me and not honor the voucher. (Thankfully, Living Social refund the money to me.) Then when I told her that I was going to give her a negative review she got all friendly and asked if I would come in the following day. QUICK SUMMARY: The massage therapist is extremely unprofessional and unorganized. Canceled on me last minute TWICE. She couldn't remember my appointment time and had to ask me to remind her. Her address is wrong in three different places so good luck finding the place. FULL SUMMARY: I had purchased a Living Social voucher for two 60-min massages from Mandalla. I was looking forward to this as it was a great deal and I am looking for a new massage therapist. I had scheduled two appointments for a massage in September. I made the appointments in August and waited six months for her schedule to become available. The night before my first appointment I get a call from the massage therapist telling me she has to cancel because her car broke down. Now I don't want to sound cold hearted, but if I didn't show up to work because my car broke down, I may not have a job the next day. In the service industry, it should be the same. Nevertheless, we made an appointment for two weeks later. The date of my next appointment I get a call one hour before my scheduled massage and the therapist tells me she's stuck at home with her kids and can't leave. She apologizes and asks to reschedule. I opted not to. I wish her the best, but maybe the service industry isn't the best for you. Note: the address for this clinic is wrong. My husband bought me a deal thru Amazon for Xmas. I decided to use it this month. The office opens Mon-Thur 12pm-7pm, which I find very odd. I honestly believe the office is an office suite. Which means, you will be naked inside the office while people from the other business walking around. Regardless, even if you pass that point, she sounded very unprofessional. I have a tough time getting a hold of her. When she does answer the phone, she sounded like she's out and about running errands during her work hours. I've always received a wonderful relaxing deep tissue massage from Bonnie. She has a great knowledge of the the body's muscular system and really knows how to work out those deep seated knots and release that built up stress we all carry around with us.It's kind of funny because when she gives me a massage she'll find these areas that are quite painful that I didn't even realize I had and then proceed to work them out. I purchased this Groupon several months ago, I called to schedule the massage and when I finally got ahold of someone the said December so I had it booked for this Sunday. She asked for me to open the voucher and give her the number to hold my appointment which I found sketchy since no one else has ever asked me to do that and after that point it makes it non refundable. I received a text message the other day saying that my appointment has been canceled and all appointments will have to be moved to 2021. I replied asking if I could be refunded instead since I won't be around then. She wasn't responding so I spent a off and on of an entire day trying to cancel it through Groupon which I can't now that she's had me open the voucher. So eventually I sent another text saying "can you please refund me?" She says ask Groupon since it's not redeemed. I explained that I already had and they told me to contact her because she had me open that voucher which makes it non refundable through Groupon now. She responds with "No. they know it hasn't been redeemed. I have never received a penny for it. YOU deal with them" so again, I just reiterated that I never said she redeemed it, I was just passing along what I got from Groupon which was that since she had me open the voucher, she has to be the one to "deal with me" as she so kindly worded it. This place injured my muscles. Additionally the attitude is terrible. Not only are they supper unprofessional but the massage itself is painful and awkward. The mentality of the business seems to be that of threatening lawsuits to reviewers they don't like, replying to reviews with the intellect and sentence structure of a middle school girl, as well as no desire to create repeat customers. I had to get two massages from Massage Envy, which was the best massage(s) ever, to undo what damage Mandela did to my muscles. Stay away from this place. read more

Bonnie is experienced with giving massages. My rating is low because I would buy three massages at a time. Last winter I had completed two and then had to leave town for a family crisis. Bonnie knew the circumstances of my situation and that I would be gone. I texted her, which was the way we corresponded, three times when I returned several weeks later. I am actually surprised there are not more reviews on this business. I bought a Living Social deal for one massage. When I first booked my appointment I felt good, as things were professional and it was easy to book. Several days before my appointment, something came up and I needed to reschedule. When I called to make the change, I felt as if she was annoyed that I had to switch my appointment, and told me I couldn't get in for a month. Since I had already paid for the voucher, I went ahead and rescheduled to a much later date. As was noted by another reviewer, there are various addresses. I went to the one in Kirkland, when actually I needed to be in bellevue. I was called asking where I was, and I said Kirkland, and was told immediately that I needed to look on the voucher for the address and that was the right address. When I am driving on the freeway, I am not going to be staring at and trying to pull up my voucher on my smartphone. I am going to plug a business name on the gps system and go where Google takes me. If you keep moving around, you need to make sure all gps systems have your business address up to date. it is like your personal mail - if you don't tell the post office where you live, you can't get mad that you aren't getting mail. so anyway I was told to hurry to the shop so we can get started, so luckily I was able to get there pretty quick. As soon as I got inside, it was a shopping mall with no signs and a small room, I was told to sit down and fill out the form, and please, DO NOT FORGET, immediately write down my Living Social voucher number. write it down on the bottom of the sheet. before turning it in, make sure it was on there. it came up more than once, and it made me feel like that was more important than checking my sheet for my markings of pain points, etc. we didn't talk much about that at all. So eventually I undressed and got on the table. She talked so much in the beginning of the massage that I couldn't relax. this isn't the hair shop or happy hour. this is a massage, with dim lighting and soft music playing. this isn't the time to get my life story or for me to hear yours. I could understand if I were a regular client, but for a first visit, it is way to intrusive. she also wanted to tell me how she recently had canceled a day's worth of appointments because she didn't want to deal with the Seafair traffic. this is the same person that was annoyed I had to reschedule days in advance of my appointment, and you cancel appointments day of because you don't want to be inconvenienced? she also told me one person was really mad about it, like I should agree that it isn't a big deal. so you will talk about your clients when they aren't around. hmmm ... not cool. Laying on the table, the sheet felt really lose on my body, as if at any point it could slide off or I could be exposed. I have had plenty of professional massages and the sheets are always neatly tucked and folded so that I feel super secure. she started at the bottom with my legs as opposed to my upper back as most therapists do (and my sheet indicated I have a lot of tightness there so that would have been a good place to focus a lot of time). she also spent time during the appointment to tell me about her specials. let's just get through this one first, shall we? she also mentioned that she was moving her office, yet again, in a week or so. maybe she should have waited on the promotions and discount sites until she was really settled in her business so there wouldn't be address confusion. she mentioned I wasn't the first one to get lost. here is where things really went sour: the next day, at 8AM (it was a Monday), I got a phone call with an URGENT VOICEMAIL that I needed to call her ASAP because she couldn't redeem my voucher. it was her number one priority. I work, too, a Monday-Friday job. if it is that serious that the voucher is valid, do it on site while I am still at the shop! once I leave, I am gone. It is very unprofessional to call me as if I stiffed you your payment the day after service. once she got it to work, she called me back saying nevermind ... then in the same breath AGAIN wanted to plug her deals. um ... no. we are done. oh, and the kicker: i gave a bad rating on living social, with no text. the next day (again at 8AM and URGENT VOICEMAIL), I get a message from her asking for an explanation. also got a text message asking why!!! NEVER have I had a business contact me like that!!! I tried to keep it vague and not harsh, but after that, now all of Seattle will know what the problems were. read more

Extremely unprofessional! Had an appointment scheduled, I reached there early and even waited 5 minutes past the appointment time and no one showed up! Left several VM's and finally got a call back from her once I left the shop claiming that she was there all day!!
