Will not be ordering from here. I did not receive what I requested. It was over $100. So disappointed. The 24 was what I received and the 18 is the picture that I sent to replicate for my sisters birthday. It looked nothing near to what I sent. read more

I've ordered with this company before back in September of last year (2019) a surprise box arrangement for my brothers girlfriend and we absolutely LOVED IT! So I didn't think twice when ordering again this year since my experience the first time was great. BUT this time it wasn't so great... I placed my order MARCH 19, 2020 for a "Bubble Bouquet" to be picked up APRIL 15, 2020. Keep in mind I placed the order a MONTH IN ADVANCED. I Dm their Instagram the Day BEFORE my pickup date to schedule a time to pick up and get no response , @ 3:40pm I then DM their Instagram ONCE AGAIN @ 8:44pm and get a response. She said my order was going to be ready at 12:30pm but and I quote "at the moment we do not have a blue box can i offer you white red or black?" I was like ummm okay... (keep in mind I ordered A MONTH IN ADVANCED) I said yea it's fine it's just the box that's going to be white everything else will be BLUE (the color I asked for). I live 30 - 1 hour away from Downey with traffic so LUCKILY i left an HOUR EARLY to arrive on time for my 12:30pm SET PICK UP TIME. As I'm on my way to pick up my order Mandala Sky DMS me saying & I quote "We have to make a delivery in 20 min and won't be back until 5:30" THIS IS AT 11:55. TECHNICALLY I STILL HAVE 30 min to pick up my order THAT WAS SCHEDULED AT 12:30. I get a little bothered but say it's okay this is why I left early. I arrive at 12:00pm and get my order... There was no blue at all... I tell the lady "I though I asked for it to be blue" she said "they didn't tell you we didn't have a blue box?" I said "yes but I though just the box wasn't available in blue" I look at my order in disbelief.. I placed this order A MONTH IN ADVANCE. 85$ for something I didn't ask for?? I even sent her a picture of what I wanted it to look like. I just take my order and tell her to have a nice day. She didn't even seem to care that I obviously wasn't happy with my order. But this is most definitely the last time I order from them. THIS IS NOT WHAT I ASKED FOR. They lost a customer forsure! read more

ZERO STARS/DO NOT COME HERE! My Mom found this business on Instagram and I cannot believe this woman has over 12,000 followers. A joke. We placed an order online (via Instagram) for a 36" inch balloon for my sisters 2 year wedding anniversary. The owner required immediate payment via Pay Pal/Venmo and we paid $44.00 for a BALLOON she believed she'd actually receive. The balloon was originally scheduled to be picked-up on August 14th at 1PM. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we were unable to pick-up the balloon on time and informed the owner via DM that we can pick it up the following day. She did not reply but saw our messages. These balloons were claimed to last more than a day (a week) and the anniversary is actually today so we saw no issue since she did not reply informing us otherwise. If she would've warned us of what was to come, trust me we wouldn't have traveled 1 hour in traffic to Downey, CA. Anyways, today is the anniversary and my Mom arrives to the business to pick up her BALLOON and the owner stated that it's not inflated. I pardon? What?! She goes on to blame my Mom for not picking up the ballon yesterday as that was the scheduled pick-up date. Ok, understandable....so inflate it? HELLO! You're a "business" charge a $5 fee and re-inflate the damn balloon. My Mom asked her to inflate it and she stated she's out of helium. Lol Seriously? Okay. My mom questions how a balloon business is out of helium and she informs her that they only buy helium at the beginning of the week and we're out of it yesterday. My theory is that it our balloon was never inflated to begin with. We proceed to ask for a refund and it is denied because the balloon was ready at 1PM yesterday. Even if we would've picked up the balloon on time it wouldn't have lasted for the anniversary (today). We questioned if these balloons lasted only one day and again she said no which is FALSE because they handed us an un-inflated balloon and advised us to go to Ralph's for helium. HA. So these "lasting" balloons do not actually last and I would've left this review regardless. The owner was extremely rude and kept tell my Mom that it wasn't her issue and not her problem to fix. My Mom isn't an idiot though, she knew exactly what to say to this "business owner." The conversation escalated to the point where my Mom was demanding a refund and was promised 50% back. Upon leaving, waiting for the funds, she was informed that it would only be "store credit." No receipt, no confirmation but a DM informing her of this. No, not going to happen. My Mom then returned to use her "store credit" and was given a Kate Spade box with the value of $14 that she purchased at Ross/Marshall's for probably $8. She was so furious that she didn't noticed until she came home and I noticed. So, long story short...STAY AWAY. Please see the beautiful balloon my mom was given for $44. Seriously gals, stick to Party City. The risk is NOT worth it. read more

Warning Cautious !! I will say this it is a very unique and creative idea I first reach out to them back in August , so I can get pricing on the surprise box. It took a while but they answered in September. (That should've been a red flag ) I thought this would be a perfect gift for my daughter unique and different. So today was the day that I went to pick it up (Nov 3.) So excited !! My excitement didn't last very long. They showed me the balloon really quick and they asked if I needed help to put it in my car I kind of seen that the letters were kind of messy but I said to myself I will wait until I get home. There I discovered disappointment Just take a look at the picture ! I already DM and no answer. See how long it takes for an explanation . Very Talented very unique concept but there customer service and business practice is terrible read more

Mandala Sky - Amazing work done , been getting these balloons for the past 2 years . Such an amazing job they do! - Party Supplies Near Me - Downey, California

In hindsight, I did not see all these negative reviews, they aspire to be professional but still need to improve on executing to deliver exactly what the customer is requesting and paying for. I understand your parents are trying to making a buck, my time is valuable too, I was firm, never rude and would not accept it until the balloons were at least like the design I picked even if it took another hour, even if I had to show them the design so they would understand what I was expecting, they were in a rush, not finished with it as promised... so remember if you can't deliver on time, as promised and paid for upfront then there will not be next time for me or those customers..I hope this helps you reflect, my mom loved her balloons and no one knew about the frustration I encountered...until now read more

Very rude and very unprofessional!! I had ordered from this place back when they only had about 300+ followers a couple of time so this time I didn't even hesitate to place this order. I have actually never seeing their Yelp until yesterday, after I picked my balloons up. All the bad reviews are unfortunately true about this business. This is the arrangement I wanted on picture above. Clearly said "Minus the upper left hand pink character" I didn't say I didn't want the white Cinnamoroll character and I certainly did not mention anything about the Hello kitty balloon, yet, they added it because it's on the picture I sent them, right?... well, I picked up yesterday and to my surprise there was no Cinnamoroll Character so I went back to the door, knocked, and the owner (young girl who does the painting on balloons) comes out and tells me "We don't do character balloons" Umm excuse me? And you didn't think to tell me at the moment I sent you the photo stating that I wanted that arrangement MINUS THE PINK CHARACTER!? I felt extremely disappointed! To my daughter that was the MAIN purpose of choosing that arrangement and CINNAMONROLL was supposed to be added. Had they told me this in advance for $115 I would have chosen an entirely different balloon arrangement or gone with a different person. The owner proceeded to say it was my fault for not making it clear to them what I wanted. WTF!? At this time, she pissed me off! UNPROFESSIONAL!! They take ZERO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEY'RE FUCK UP'S! She also said she's not the one who took my order so doesn't know anything about it. Said she has someone doing her IG messaging/replying. If this is true (which I doubt because from my experience going here for years I've only ever seeing her parents and her working there, they don't speak English so I doubt they are replying) then she needs to fire that person because they sure are getting many small personal orders wrong!!! She does an amazing work, FOR IG INFLUENCERS BUT DISREGARDS SMALL PERSONAL ORDERS. They have definitely lost a loyal long time customer and I will let every family and friend never to order from here EVER! At the end she offered me 20% of my total back for (THEY'RE MISTAKE) than she takes it back saying no not 20% I can give you back $20 dollars. Mediocre. This place is not Closed they continue doing business through IG but so yourself and favor and stay away from ordering here. read more

Bad business but my fault I had read the reviews and they were bad but I still wanted to order because her balloons are nice but it went just as the reviews said. My husband placed an order for balloons she said his payment didn't go thru so he told her he would go in person she told him to come she wasn't there he went the next day she still wasn't there she wasn't answering the phone either so wen she finally answered friday and the order was placed Tuesday she said she was booked. P.s please get together!!! read more

If I can give no stars I would.... very disappointed with my order and the balloon looked nothing like what I asked for.. Not worth $108. It wasn't ready by the promised time. The design was super off centered and not what I was expecting. Looked pretty sad and it was for a gender reveal. I will not be using this place and if my review helps anyone please do not use them. They were nice but quality of balloon sucked. read more

Communication is key for any business regardless of COVID. Getting back to a customer in a timely manner or responding is essential to a good business relationship. I love the balloons, but the customer service is not the greatest. I was happy with my first order. I was disappointed with the second order I placed with them. The lack of explanation and communication of my order left for a disappointment. I believe all is handmade painting, not sure, but with that said; it should be stated how much of the art is going to be on the balloon so it won't be a shocker when received. She is not closed! she continues to do business in the same location under IG name mandalasky_balloon. read more

‼‼‼‼PLEASE READ BEFORE REACHING OUT TO THEM ‼‼‼‼‼ I found this business via Instagram, I saw their work and thought it was perfect for a baby shower coming up! Mind you the baby shower is APRIL 26th, 2020 and I sent them a direct message FEB. 23,2020 via Instagram asking for a quote based on what I wanted. Perfect, I was given the price of $250, I didn't mind because it would make my life easier and baby shower beautiful! The same day, FEB 23rd They asked for a deposit in order to confirm the order. I sent the deposit everything was fine. Then comes around the COVID-19 situation. I was informed that the baby shower would be cancelled a MONTH before the event so I messaged them MARCH 20th,2020 that it would be cancelled due to us literally not being able to have events! I respectfully asked for a refund of my deposit because of the situation at hand! I understand if I would've cancelled the event and let them know a week prior, I wouldn't expect a refund / consideration. But because we are in a PANDEMIC & I am left with NO JOB I would enjoy the $130 to pay for groceries, a bill , SOMETHING it's $130 lol. Anyway, they gave me a voucher with $130 credit that works for only 3 months after April. Mind you have NO events within the next three months so I do NOT need the voucher I just need my deposit. So basically they could care less about whatever is going on, they even sent me a PICTURE saying no refunds. As a business I really believed there would be a flexibility because whole COVID situation ESPECIALLY since we legally cannot have gatherings. I will NEVER be supporting this business again. Customer service is horrible also. Very disappointed ! I wish I would've looked them up on yelp before reaching out, so ‼‼PLEASE YALL DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM THEY ONLY CARE FOR THE MONEY NOT THE CUSTOMERS ‼‼ read more

ZERO STARS!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!! This lady is EXTREMELY unprofessional. We had a horrible experience from her and after putting in a complaint, she decided to repost it to her Instagram story exposing usernames/profiles. SHE IS NOTHING BUT A RIP OFF!!!! Don't do it people! We placed and order and sent her a message informing her that it couldn't be picked up on time, she didn't reply and when we went the very next day the ballon was deflated. I started crying the man who I spoke with first didn't say much the woman was rude unethical unprofessional I'm disgusted by this place they made it seem like they have good customer service when they have a bad attitude what can u expect from ppl who steel ideas from Mexico and they make it their own they Im also going to speak to instagram because it seems as they get more client they lose more and they are using ig as a plat form to put their business online yet giving a bad rep on on ig seem like they don't care I do not recommend them at all worst experience ever!!!!!! read more

I love this place! The owner is always super nice! I've already ordered a couple of balloons from this place and the balloons are always so beautiful! Mines usually last inflated around one month. I think the price is reasonable for what you get, all the balloons are hand painted and great quality. When you order, you usually put a deposit and you pay in the rest when you pick up the balloon. I definitely recommend this place! My family and friends have already also ordered from here and they love it! read more

I can see why the horrible reviews. Where do I begin? How bout two months ago when I placed my order through Instagram Direct Message. I wanted a hand painted graduation cap for my niece. I saw one they posted and asked if I could have the same floral design and same colors with a different phrase (told them the phrase I wanted) sure no problem, just send the $57 on over. Ok. Done. Then they proceed to tell me to let them know when I will be bringing the cap by so they can work on it. Waitttttt a second. The cap isn't provided? No bc all schools are different colors. Um ok. Would've been nice to know that beforehand. So I hop on Amazon and order a cap (another $12) It gets sent to their place so they can start working on it. So the day before they are going to send it to me I see on their IG story a purple cap like the one I ordered but with a different phrase. I didn't want to assume that was mine so I messaged them. Yup. "Sorry for the misunderstanding the artist messed up" blah blah ok I accept Apology, humans make mistakes. Let's just get it fixed since we are running out of time. Ok when do you need it by? Um I kinda wanted to give it to her already but that's obviously not happening, the party is the 28th so I guess by the 27th (today) so I message them last night confirming cap is ready "yes it is" ok cool see you tomo. Get a message today "sorry but we've been so busy and it's not gonna be done today, it can be ready in a few days or your money back let me what you would like (with a smiley face emoji) NO ONE is smiling here. Why did you tell me it was done yesterday when I asked when it wasn't??? Why didn't you tell me a week ago so I could order from someone else. The one special thing my niece wanted and now that's not happening. I'm beyond pissed off. Will never order from them again. Will tell everyone I know not to as well. Next I Will be reporting to the BBB. Horrible. read more

I purchased a graduation balloon and flowers for a graduation and they messed up so many times. It was very unprofessional and took up more of my time than it should have. I ordered a balloon for the day before the graduation and they got the date wrong so it was not ready when I showed up for it. I had to go back a second time in which they did what they wanted and not what I paid for. They said my order was "confusing" and did not want to fix it. I pulled out the messages and showed them the exact screenshots of the pictures I sent. I paid for a 36" balloon and a bucket of roses and they gave me a smaller balloon with roses. When I said that I was not allowed to take the balloon to the graduation ceremony, the lady rudely said "Then why are you even asking for a balloon?" The customer service was horrible. I ordered the balloon as a party decoration but that was none of her concern. So now I had to come back for a 3RD time after the graduation ceremony in a rush to pick up the balloon due to their mistakes. I will not be purchasing from them again. VERY UNORGANIZED, UNPROFESSIONAL & RUDE. read more

The balloon and flower arrangements were beautiful but their COMMUNICATION is horrible. I was set to pick up my arrangement at 2pm and got there at 1:37. I had work at 3pm so I figured I have enough time to get home drop it off and get to work. I let them know I was there and kept sending messages. They opened the messages but no reply. 2:05 came around ... 2:10.... 2:15.... 2:20.. still nothing. I got out of my car and walked to the door and they told me my order wasn't ready. I was already upset because I'd have to come back and pick it up after work (I told her 7 or 8pm). I got to work and messaged them telling them if I could cancel at this point we had set on a time and it wasn't ready which I find it a good enough reason for a refund. They saw the message and no reply. I finally got a hold of someone to go pick up and I again messaged her and still no reply. Finally they replied and said "we're set for 7pm" I said okay and sent someone for it. THEY STILL HAD THE AUDACITY TO TELL ME THEY WOULD ONLY HOLD IT UNTIL 7:20! No girl that's two trips I took to go pick it up because it wasn't ready on time and you still try to give me a time frame??? I was so excited to continue doing business with you because I genuinely love your work but as a new customer I am so disappointed. No longer ordering from here. Please communicate better or this will continue to happen. Look at the reviews I regret not looking at them. read more
