*** Yeah, my NH office is a little different ... *** Here's where we came for Xmas team building. We shot handguns, rifles & automatic weapons. Gotta sign a waiver to partake. That's real trust. (lol) AK47 was surprisingly my fave weapon to shoot. Powerful, packs a kick, def gets my adrenaline up. Now I see why this place hosts so many events ... Couples nights ... $100 for 2, 1hr, 50 rounds Ladies night ... women here shoot for 1/2 off Office parties ... bring in the holiday w/ a bang! *** Untraditional yet I must admit it is fun. ***

Last night I attended "Armed with Knowledge: Understanding Firearm and Self-Defense Law" and the class was phenomenal and anyone that buys a firearm should take this class. The instructor Thomas Brown was excellent. This is a family owned and operated range that provides good value for those attending.

My first time visiting MFL and attending a course on PP. I enrolled in the "NRA Personal Protection in the Home" course taught by Master Firearm Instructor Thomas Brown, who was outstanding and exceptionally knowledgeable, organized, focused and entertaining - a very impressive instructor. Because of Tom, I thoroughly enjoyed the 2-day course. I learned so much about firearm safety, home security, self-defense, and more, which helped me to be excited to learn how to properly shoot a firearm for the first time, instead of being terrified. Tom chose a 1911-380 for me to practice, which I liked so much so that I purchased their 1911-380 Black Label Medallion Pro the same day. I highly recommend this course, or any course taught by Tom Brown. I'm already registered to take the Basic Pistol course in February! :) A special thanks to Tom and his friend/instructor, Kevin for all their help and guidance!

First time handling firearms for both of us and we left exhilarated. We signed the waiver forms on their website which saves around 15 minutes and waited around the range until our names were called. We rented 2 glocks , a fully automatic weapon, and about 5 boxes of ammo I was very intimated initially to handle the Glock but Carlos assisted us very professionally. There's really nothing to - comes down to muscle memory. I was pleasantly surprised how much power comes out of the barrel of handgun, you really have to offensively hold it. Next was the big boy, started with semi-auto then went full automatic. Carlos recommend an aggressive stance with the machine gun. I had a lot of fun and glad that I'm now competent with guns which was my goal.

Id not been shooting in about 35 years, my wife had never. After some debate over 'if owning a firearm is necessary', as well as given the potential dangers of mis handling weapons, we decided it was time to learn. And in the 'measure 3 times cut once' mentality booked a 1 hour lesson on a Sunday a month ago with Leo at MFL. We explained ourselves as 'walk us through this as if we're 6. We know nothing'. Leo did exactly that. We felt completely safe, informed, and came out an hour later FAR more comfortable. The discussion in the car was 'well... i guess that was ok but it was a little nerve wracking.. i cant see it becoming a hobby, but it was fine' Fast forward a month. We are now MFL members, own 4 firearms and counting frankly because it's FUN!, and frequent the range. Jake the owner is a great guy, in fact every person there has been excellent, and lending to the 'safety feel', all are either active or retired military. We THOROUGHLY enjoy target practicing, and have gone from 'how do you hold this thing?' to 'ok these are a lot of fun, what should we try next?!'. If you have curiosity, and you'd like to go someplace comfortable that will walk you through everything and doesn't act like you're an idiot, MFL is a fantastic starting point. VERY highly recommend

Nice, clean and well run. I'm from Mass but make the trip over the border here with my daughter for daddy-daughter-date night. Rentals including full auto if you're into that and the instructors are very helpful. I feel safe bringing my 13 year old without fear of some inexperienced person accidentally pointing to the restroom with their firearm. The staff are very diligent. Members can reserve lanes so no worries about disappointing the little one. Highly recommended for a safe, fun night out.

It's a nice range but it's very very pricey. The workers are great and helpful with anything you need to make your visit pleasant.

Ever watched Seinfeld's "Soup Nazi"? Well if he was this shops Asian American manager and rangemaster vs an Armenian American, that's how you are made to feel. I was literally thrown out of the shop by this guy after CALMY telling him to be PATIENT as I was looking for my drivers license and FFL info while making an $800+ purchase and spent $200 at the range. I'm 55 and have NEVER been thrown out of ANYWHERE in my life. The customers around me were frankly as shocked and stunned as I was. I never raised my voice. The manager himself let him get run away angry for my suggesting he needs to calm down. This place is ESPECIALLY hostile if you are from out of state. How many times was I barked at for my license to carry and had to explain - again - that I'm out of state and looking to do a purchase and FFL transfer. Guys, if you don't want out of state buyers in your store, just Say so on your website or put a sign out on the front door. Because that's the message you're Staff is giving. You're not special. Anyone can click to buy on your website or 1000 other websites. We come to your store, it's because we want to see the products in person and I made the effort to come there for that reason. If you do not want that business to say so in advance, don't waste our collective time. Contrast all of this was my experience just the day before at the Sig Sauer Experience Center in New Hampshire. Extremely friendly and informative. Actively encouraged me to purchase at local gun shops. Which I tried to do here in gratitude for being allowed to test 2 firearms which I was then prepared to buy. But then tossed out of the store for having the temerity to politely ask for patience and respect from the manager! I was respectful of all their many rules and requirements. I was not treated reciprocally. Lastly, I allowed almost a week after sending a calm and considerate Email to the store owner detailing my experience and receiving no response. I'm not the kind of guy who just runs to Google or Yelp to leave one star reviews. They've had full opportunity to at least acknowledge receipt, which they have not I'm a small business owner and manager. If a shop has a problem like this, it all stems from on high. Because the owner establishes the tone of the store or condones bad behavior. Joe : you have a problem here. You need to step up and address it. Everyone can appreciate that Firearms can be dangerous and lethal. However, that does not condone Creating a tense And unwelcoming environment. Because that's what you feel when you come into this place. You can see it on everybody's face who's a client in there as well, Especially those people in line waiting to either check in or check out of the range. Of the five of your employees I dealt with, only one seemed to have any sense of warmth towards clients. Given your inability to even respond to constructive criticism, You also need to take a moment To consider how you are enabling this behavior.

Merrimack Firearms is a welcoming business that so far has provided a very down to earth approach to sales, and the prices have been at or below 'bigger stores'. Exceptional service I was not expecting! I dont want this review to be about other dealers, but its worth mentioning that another local dealer makes VERY clear their position in their signage, and frankly it's pretty off-putting. No matter your opinions, when you outwardly express them, you are alienating 50% of your potential clientele, in my case folks with ability to buy. Not at MF. I would have questioned as to why I needed someone with me because I thought it was odd. If someone is that determined, they could go to an LTC class and just do it anyways so that policy just seems redundant. Idk that's just my opinion, but I did not appreciate driving up here expecting to shoot on a Saturday night then having to go home.
