Merrimack Firearms is a welcoming business that so far has provided a very down to earth approach to sales, and the prices have been at or below 'bigger stores'. This weekend i settled on a Leupold Delta Point Pro red dot for my favorite pistol and not ONLY did MF have the best price by FAR, but they even mounted it and aligned it for me at no charge! Exceptional service I was not expecting! I dont want this review to be about other dealers, but its worth mentioning that another local dealer makes VERY clear their position in their signage, and frankly it's pretty off-putting. No matter your opinions, when you outwardly express them, you are alienating 50% of your potential clientele, in my case folks with ability to buy. Not at MF. Excellent serivice and product will have me coming back for years im sure!

I came across CDI based on their online reviews for some basic self-defense training, but ended up taking and signing up for more classes than I would've imagined, some just for fun, others because these are some very practical skills to know, from Womens self defense to stop the bleed and tactical medicine training. CDI offers quite a few practical scenario simulation training opportunities (aka turning around and having to deal with whatever scenario is presented in front of you), lots of hands on application, real world knowledge, plus a good dose of humor and a furry dog mascot. For someone completely new to this, the whole crew of instructors really look out for you to make sure you're safe, having fun, and learning. While the class can get intense at times, it's intense without the anxiety, with some pretty cool tricks you can learn. I mean... hey, I might not be great with a tourniquet yet, but let me lift those 5lb weights some more and I'll get those muscles to stop the bleed if there were ever a situation! And for those looking turn up the intensity in their training... I can tell the longer term students, particularly those in the practical self defense courses, definitely get more of that. I wouldn't have thought I'd be saying these classes are fun, but here we are... taking more classes for fun. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're thinking about learning some practical self-defense, and yup, we'll be back... tomorrow.

Their firearm safety course is extremely reasonable in price and is conveniently located in Beverly at the Cummings Center. Our instructors were Mike Pelonzi and Cory Daras. Mike has had several years under his belt in law enforcement experience and training. Cory Daras is a trained nurse, nurse educator and a Marine Veteran. She brings her passion for caring for others to a personalized gun safety course. Both Mike and Cory, with their sense of humor, delivered an exceptional firearm safety class. Mike and Cory are extremely passionate about firearm safety, public safety and very knowledgeable about past and current gun laws. Cory ensures that after you take her class you walk out with insight on personal safety, and situational awareness options to protect yourself and loved ones from potential threats. Mike and Cory's class was by far the best firearm safety training I have ever received. I look forward to going back to them for future firearms training as well as first aid and CPR training that the academy also provides. If you choose Safety Academy USA you will not be disappointed!

Tense, hostile and rude environment. We get it : guns go bang bang and dangerous. And You're busy…read more But you literally feel more welcome checking in to a prison. Thats how it feels here. Ever watched Seinfeld's "Soup Nazi"? Well if he was this shops Asian American manager and rangemaster vs an Armenian American, that's how you are made to feel. I was literally thrown out of the shop by this guy after CALMY telling him to be PATIENT as I was looking for my drivers license and FFL info while making an $800+ purchase and spent $200 at the range. I'm 55 and have NEVER been thrown out of ANYWHERE in my life. The customers around me were frankly as shocked and stunned as I was. I never raised my voice. The manager himself let him get run away angry for my suggesting he needs to calm down. This place is ESPECIALLY hostile if you are from out of state. How many times was I barked at for my license to carry and had to explain - again - that I'm out of state and looking to do a purchase and FFL transfer. Guys, if you don't want out of state buyers in your store, just Say so on your website or put a sign out on the front door. Because that's the message you're Staff is giving. You're not special. Anyone can click to buy on your website or 1000 other websites. We come to your store, it's because we want to see the products in person and I made the effort to come there for that reason. If you do not want that business to say so in advance, don't waste our collective time. Contrast all of this was my experience just the day before at the Sig Sauer Experience Center in New Hampshire. Extremely friendly and informative. Actively encouraged me to purchase at local gun shops. Which I tried to do here in gratitude for being allowed to test 2 firearms which I was then prepared to buy. But then tossed out of the store for having the temerity to politely ask for patience and respect from the manager! I was respectful of all their many rules and requirements. I was not treated reciprocally. Lastly, I allowed almost a week after sending a calm and considerate Email to the store owner detailing my experience and receiving no response. I'm not the kind of guy who just runs to Google or Yelp to leave one star reviews. They've had full opportunity to at least acknowledge receipt, which they have not I'm a small business owner and manager. If a shop has a problem like this, it all stems from on high. Because the owner establishes the tone of the store or condones bad behavior. Joe : you have a problem here. You need to step up and address it. Everyone can appreciate that Firearms can be dangerous and lethal. However, that does not condone Creating a tense And unwelcoming environment. Because that's what you feel when you come into this place. You can see it on everybody's face who's a client in there as well, Especially those people in line waiting to either check in or check out of the range. Of the five of your employees I dealt with, only one seemed to have any sense of warmth towards clients. Given your inability to even respond to constructive criticism, You also need to take a moment To consider how you are enabling this behavior.

From a students perspective, i had the greatest experience at Chico's driving school. They made…read moretheir students their number one priority. At one point on of the instructors had been injured and in the hospital for a few days, however they made it possible and tried with everything in their power, to get every students driving/observation hours before the course ended. I really admired the effort they put forth so that we could all end on time. Another thing that I admire about this school, is how the teachers try to make it a great experiemce. They build such incredible connections with every single student. I definitely hope to keep in touch with them. They are so helpful and only want you to succeed. They teach so well, and word all of their lessons so that it is easily understood. They believe that you can do anything you want to, and will assist you in reaching your goals. I am not the best at taking quizzes and tests and they knew that so they worked with me a d helped to calm down my test anxiety to the point where i actually had none while taking the course final. I passes the final which brought both a smile to my face, and also theirs. The day after the last class, i went to the DMV more nervous than i have ever been, but calmed myself down by remembering what they would say to me. I walked into the testing room and the minute i started to answer the questions it was like a breath of fresh air. I felt so well prepared for the questions and was getting them all correct and passed on the first try. Immediately following the written test, i took the driving test, and also felt very well trained and prepared, and once again passed on the first try. Again, chicos was an amazing experience, and they care so much for their students. I highly reccomend this drivers education school, and thank you for reading about my incredible, and most memorable time.

No. I was expecting, like one does with a business line, a recorded message offering information or asking for the caller to leave their name and number so someone can call back at their convenience. Um. No. Instead a VERY angry man answered "Hello!" "Hi, I'm trying to reach Chico's driving?" "Yeah - it's 8:20 on a Saturday and I'm with my *expletive* family! What do you need....." I interrupted him here to say "So sorry. I thought this was a business line..." "It is a business line! What could you need..." And I hung up. I'm not interested in trusting my child's safety to this guy. If you want to run a business, then run a business. Don't answer your phone swearing at a potential customer.
