We loved TLT! Unfortunately, we had to pull our kids out at the beginning of the pandemic because I am high risk but our two kids (2yo & 3yo at the time) LOVED it here! They do great activities with the kids and all of their employees are wonderful. It's unfortunate that someone gave a 1 star review just because of the fact that TLT charged a fee during Covid. They send out a very honest explanation and at the time were not being offered any special help /programs from the government as other businesses were. They were faced with a very difficult decision and instead of shutting down their doors and leaving tons of parents scrambling, they stayed opened and very transparent of their decision to charge. I was not thrilled about paying either but to me it was worth it and they really didn't have any other options. As far as the other woman that posted a bad review. It sounds like you're not going to be a "good fit" anywhere. If your child requires alone time, that's going to involve another staff member to supervise this child so that he/she can be alone. Not to mention a free space to do this in. Sounds like you should consider an at home nanny service instead of expecting a daycare to conform to your very specific, high level needs. I looked at her profile and she's given 1-2 stars to 4 other area day cares. At some point, you've got stop and think, "maybe it's not them....maybe it's me" I find the need to point this out because I don't think it's fair to TLT or inquiring parents looking at the ratings to base your decisions off two reviews that really aren't relavent to how wonderful this place truly is. Bottom line, our kids loved it here. The staff is incredibly generous and truly cared for our children. I've never felt more comfortable leaving my kids with anyone else than I have here so THANK YOU ALL!! read more

COVIN-19 With Londonderry Learn Tree Must pay 50% of your child's care even though their closed. Oh they say to hold your childs spot. While other daycare centers are waving this fee. A lot of families are on unemployment.... Are your employees on unemployment even though you are charging a 50% payment to hold are child's spot? I dont feel your helping are community . I feel you'll lose a lot of kids. Because you made the choice of money Over community. Banks have frozen mortgage. And are their helping small businesses. So the need for 50% is unacceptable . Because of you are children will lose their second home, their friends, their Teaches and faces they have seen over a year for my Granddaughter . Sham on you. You have promoted stress on family finances and will Create our children to have new anxiety at a young age for unexpected change this is only adding to everything else that is going on in with are family,friends, and now schools. The Learning Tree ownership and staff are amazing! Katelyn is like part of our family. Our (2) daughters, ages two and five have been attending the TLT for over a year and absolutely love it. They have learned so much and developed amazing relationships that will continue into the public schools. We have met so many great people and families through the TLT. We could not ask for a better group of people to care for our children while we are at work!! read more

I can't say enough good things about TLT. They are so wonderful and loving with the children that attend their daycare. They put time and effort into a good curriculum for even the littlest kiddos. I have felt completely comfortable with all of the teachers my daughter has had. The owners take the time to make sure they connect with the parents and answers any questions they may have. They respond to emails quickly and thoroughly and welcome the communication between the families and the daycare center. I am a clean freak and you can tell they take the time to REALLY clean! They have a cleaning schedule and will take other measures when illness strikes. Overall a very friendly and fun environment! read more

We love The Learning Tree! My son started in The Learning Tree Too in December and as a stay at home Mom who was going back to work and enrolling my 18 month old in child care I was nervous and had toured multiple centers. I instantly felt welcomed. Miss Faith, my sons teacher was able to provide me with updates throughout the day and check ins during the first few weeks to help ease the transition for me. My son is always happy and playing when I pick him up, and I have noticed he is learning so much there! We couldn't be happier with the care there, they truly treat the children like family. read more

We are so happy that we decided to send our son to The Learning Tree! As a teacher myself, I had high expectations of the child care center that I chose for my son. TLT has exceeded these expectations and made the hard transition of going back to work so much easier! The teachers keep in constant communication with me throughout the day and are always available to answer any questions I have! I have reviewed the response from the Learning Tree, which reads like a marketing booklet. I understand the operators' frustration with a negative review, such as mine. Nevertheless, in my review, I have made a conscious effort to describe my experience accurately, fairly, and without exaggeration. My description of the center is fair, fact-based, and un-biased. When we visited this winter, both children and adults were wearing outdoor shoes inside the center, and the floors were muddy and full of grit on the day that we toured the center, and on the one day that we attended it. The windows are without a doubt "original", and one could see the bright outdoors through the cracks under some of the outside doors... The all-natural old-world bar soap that we brought in for our kids was fully labeled upon the school's request. We have made an effort to comply with and be understanding of each school's request. The one day we attended, we did not bring in snow pants, b/c during our tour the day before, the teacher said that if the temps were below a certain point, they would not go out. The temps were below that point, and yet they decided to go out, which was perfectly fine by me. Because my boy had no snow pants, it was also fine with me if he had to stay in that day. Overall, hearing Katelyn say that "we are not a good fit for you!" with a stern look on her face, and "you are asking for too much!" when I inquired, in a friendly and polite way, whether my child could have a chance for some quiet space/ time during the day, was unequivocally hostile. When I asked her, what was wrong with asking for a kid to have some quiet time, Katelyn, could not articulate what it was that was "too much," but she was obviously angry with me. Seeing that she was uncomfortable, hostile, and closed to communication, we left without being asked twice. Despite what the other glowing reviews might say, and despite the marketing-infused, glowing self-description, the operators of The Learning Tree of Londonderry were not welcoming to us, were not understanding of my children's needs, and were not interested in accommodating ANY needs that my children might have (a special bar soap and some quiet space/ time during the day.) Also, when reading reviews on Yelp, I realize that many people use Yelp.com to rant or to vent about disappointing services or experiences when they feel there is no other way to express their grievances. When I look up a business, and it has no negative reviews, I assume that business is "good" b/c many people simply do not post positive reviews at all. For one reason or another, people count on being treated with respect and kindness at places of business, and when this is not the case, they rant and vent on Yelp.com. It seems that good treatment is the norm, and we may take that for granted. However, some experiences fall so short of any of our expectations, that we take the time and post a rant. This does not mean that we are always complaining about everything. Simply put, most places meet our expectations and we take that as "the norm" and feel no need to comment on that...Unfortunately, The Learning Tree of Londonderry fell far short of most expectations; most importantly, they fell short of the expectations of understanding, a genuine desire to accommodate and nurture children, and of providing a nurturing and enriched environment. read more
